I came here with my EAA Chapter pilot friends. They have been here a couple times, this was my first and I feel bad because I didn't take any pictures, not even if my food. There was 7 of us at the table and the waitress took very good care of us. All I heard was how big the portions were. Then I seen some food come out and I will say, unless you order the soup it was large servings. I seen sandwiches that were very large and a chicken salad that was very good. I order the Italian chicken that was basically an open faced chicken Parmesan on bread with fried pepperoni and it came with fries. They had cheap beer and Hamilton water that if you know, you know. My husband and I grabbed dinner at Berd's prior to a concert. The interior was packed so we were seated outside on the patio. I ordered the Angry American Burger, while my husband ordered the Big Farm Burger. The burgers were good, cooked to our likeness. The buns held up well, and the fries were really good. The sliced jalapenos on my Angry American didn't add any heat, nor did the pepperjack cheese, or spicy ranch sauce. I thought the burger would be up there with the large chain's Burnin' Love burger, but it wasn't. Which can be a safe for those not used to anything spicy. Stopped in mid afternoon day of the SuperBowl. Got a bucket and - tiped for the bucket with a changeover at the bar, then was ignored by new bartender. Not a hello or even look my direction? I did order a small meat lover pizza which was better than I expected. Pizza was a 10" hand tossed with a crunchy crust as I asked for well done. Meat was all miniature and basically tasteless. I had dinner with a friend here this evening. Service was good, the food was great. Fried Green Tomatoes and Soft Pretzels with beer cheese for appetizers. Both of which were good, though I would say the pretzels were better if I had to rank them. I had the Boneless Wings with Buffalo sauce and Cheese Fries for my entree. The fries were super cheesy and amazing!! They also came as a very large order, my friend and I shared them, and I still brought about half of them home - we were so excited about how delicious they looked that I forgot to snap a picture. Stopped in on a whim, no wait for two on a Tuesday night. Server was quick, friendly and experienced. Menu does not have many vegetarian options. Between the both of us we tried the mozzarella moons, chicken salad sandwich, potato salad, Cajun fries, and side salad. Mozz moons were perfect! Apps come in snack sizes for a lesser cost. Chicken salad has grapes so it passed the test! Potato salad was good but the predominant flavor was bacon. Cajun fries had a bit too much seasoning and could have been fresher. Salad was a decent size and ingredients were fresh. Burgers looked great so might try that next time. Hopefully they can add a veggie patty to the menu soon. Would return. read more

Huge bar and good size out door space. I decided to sit at the bar since I was alone. Took a while for the bartender to come over and ask what I wanted. Canned Guinness, never good at a bar! They had lots of tap beer, and I asked. Would have ordered something different had I known it was going to be a can. Ordered the ribs. They came out fast! I was a little surprised since this place was packed. They looked better than they tasted. Fires were really salty and could t eat them. Bartender was very non attentive the whole 45 minutes I spent on this place. Yep, in and out in less than an hour. Seems I wasn't the only one at the bar that couldn't get any attention. It's a good place and a shame the service was so poor. I would skip this place and try somewhere else. read more

After going through some of the reviews I feel like I came into Berd's with higher expectations. With a 4.4 star rating with 863 reviews I expected the food to not be so underwhelming. Not only was the food bland, but the servers tended more to those they knew personally, spending extended periods of time talking about their personal lives over tending to the more "touristy" guests. We waited an exceptional amount of time between appetizers/drinks and ordering our food because of this. read more

absolutely terrible, the servers were sweet as can be but the owner and bartender accused my son of doing something he didn't do and we have multiple classmates that back my sons story up. The bartender slammed the check on the table and ordered my sons group to leave because ( pointing at my son ) that he had 20 + people state that he ripped something off the wall and put it in the toilet. My son was literally in the bathroom not even a min. Then the story changed and the owner spoke up and said he was mad because the kitchen managers 5 year old stated he had scratchs on his arm and then claimed my sons drug him out of the bathroom.. then the bartender claimed he had camera footage.. ok cameras in the bathroom? That illegal! My son never put hands on NO 5 year old and I'm sorry I know my son who have never done anything remotely close of that and was raised right. Blame the damn 5 year old whose parents bring a child into a bar while they are working and not watching them! They just blamed the only big teen in the bathroom that literally just did that, went to the batgroom. They discriminated my son and his friends and embarrassed them on their 8th grade graduation celebration. Do yourself a favor actually do your investigation work before blaming a kid, don't bring your kids to work with you, and get rid of bartender who CLEARLY can't control his anger. DO NOT GO HERE! Visited here many years ago and thought we would try it again. The pluses: Lots of seating. Very large U shaped bar. It sits close to Kroger in a large strip mall area. Lots of parking. The food itself was ok. I had the "Mayor" wrap which is a fried chicken wrap with honey mustard. My son had boneless wings. Portions were decent. Flavor was good. The negatives: drinks were very weak. Ordered a 7/7 and no way it had an ounce and a half of Seagrams in it. Had to order a shot and pour it in. Service although friendly was slow and staff looked miserable. Liked they hated being there. That was disappointing to see. Also the guy next to us sent his burger back because it was not what he ordered. To their credit they replaced it. I'm on the fence on trying this for place again. read more

This place has EVERYTHING you need for the best sports bar experience. 1. TV's - lots and lots and in every angle 2. Excellent customer service 3. Ice cold beers 4. FANTASTIC food. I've been here a bunch in the past before moving in October (2020). Sadly this location has had a ton of owners/names so I dont feel comfortable sharing older pictures as I can't say if it was Berd's or Roc's. I will say i really enjoy their food. I've had about everything on the menu. Can't really go wrong with anything but I will say if you dislike fatty ribs I'd stay away from selecting the ribs. Also, the Pretzel Club (?) Isnt heated and is litterally cold cuts and un-melted cheese. A quick heat under the broiler would make it much better. I love the club sandwich, chili (really amazing), pretzels with cheese (they're kind of stingy about the cheese...sadly), burger (they have Burger Mondays. Good deal), pizza, appetizers, and their seasonal options. All of the employees are very nice and the owners are wonderful as well. I'll most likely update my review and upload pictures next time I'm in the area and craving some classic American food. read more

I have lived in the Cincy area for 10 years now and have looked and looked for a good thin pizza. I have finally found it!!!! Went here with another couple and we all had different items. I had the side salad and a small pizza. It was delicious! Sharon had a fish sandwich and onion rings. She said her sandwich and rings were pretty good, although would have liked to see a couple more onion rings on her plate. Dave had an Italian sandwich and he stated it was good but would have liked a little larger sandwich. Bob had wings but would have liked a little more as the wings didn't come with fries or an additional side choice. But The service was great! The atmosphere is a typical sports bar but wasn't overly loud. We were here on Kentucky derby Day and there was a decent crowd. We did not have to wait for a table. I would definitely recommend this place because it was a fun atmosphere! UPDATE one item of mention after our visit- hubs said the men's room needed a good deal of attention. Went here after work one day, I had never been. They are doing a great job of social distancing and making sure customers are wearing masks. The tables are pushed apart and there are dividers along the bar. I gave the menu a once over and quickly settled on the Hangover Chicken. I mean it's fried or grilled chicken with bacon, an egg, cheese sandwiched between two waffles and you get syrup on the side. I DO NOT recommend putting the syrup on the sandwich, it gets everywhere. Just dip it! It's so good but ginormous. The piece of chicken you get is really a honking hunk of chicken and it's fantastic. I got the fried chicken, perfect crispy outside juicy inside. I cut the sandwich in half and it was still a little hard to eat as a sandwich. Fourths maybe the go to. I say this all the time if there are fried pickles in any form on the menu I get them. Ate here tonite with wife based on some good buzz on Chowdown Cincinnati. I had fried green tomatoes, chili, potato soup and some seasoned fries. She had potato soup and some large pretzels with dipping cheese. Everything was delicious. Server Bryan was fast, efficient and friendly. Even tho it is a sports bar, it was not noisy. They had Sonder You Betcha on tap which I love. Happy Hour lasts until 7. This place has had several incarnations in the past few years, but the current owners have their act together. Shout out to Yelp! for letting us know about this little gem tucked away in a strip mall. We were surprised at how big this pub is - seating everywhere, and not one, but two huge bars to enjoy. Booths surround the perimeter, and behind all this is a private party room in the back. Way more seating than we expected. Service was decent - you were either one who works, or one who doesn't. We saw three people earning their wages and more. Every time we saw them, they were wiping down, sweeping up, cleaning, moving tables and chairs, or setting tables for the next customers. I even commented on the young gal's work ethic - she was amazing. The young man looked up at the customers as they walked by, made eye contact, and greeted them individually, establishing a connection with them and making sure they knew he appreciated their being in the pub. So, the menu is mostly chicken, but they have a few pizzas and lots of burger options. Plenty of salads to choose from, and great selection of apps. Beer is a-plenty with a dozen handles, and a great selection of local (Cincinnati & Dayton) craft breweries in cans/bottles. We landed on Chicken Wings and Salads. The lettuce was fresh (a novelty in the afternoon hours) and the wings were temperature-hot. I was a little let down with the wing sauce, I was on the fence about ordering "Hot Buffalo" or "Extra-Hot Buffalo" and definitely regretted playing it safe. Extra Hot next time.
