I truly had no idea what else to do, having exhausted my very rudimentary knowledge about how my computer actually works. i have had a couple of bad experiences at the "genius bar" (and a couple good experiences as well, to their credit), so I decided to give Danny a call after reading his excellent reviews here on Yelp. I am so glad I did! Danny was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and went above and beyond to help me with issues that were not even part of the initial problem. He really knows what he is doing, his rates are very reasonable, and he's really nice, too!

We have used Danny for years across several moves and different houses in the Bay Area. Does great work. He fixed my camera problems entirely remotely in this era of social distancing. He also set up better security software and fortified the protection I have so I can work more securely from home. He works on PCs too. Not just Macs as the name would imply. Highly recommended. He works quirky hours and is busy but he always comes to the rescue.

I took my Dad to Gadget World to look for a new phone case for his old iPhone XR, and also to ask…read moreabout the cost of replacing what we thought was a cracked screen on his phone. After very patiently helping my 94-year old Dad select a new phone case, Az checked out the phone, and we were very relieved to learn that it was only the glass screen protector that was cracked. Az replaced the cracked screen protector with a new tempered glass one, and put on the new phone case. My Dad was very happy because his phone looked brand new again! The price for everything was incredibly cheap - compared to others, and especially the Apple Store! - and Az even gave my Dad a discount because it was an older phone. Truly the best experience ever, and it only took 20 minutes! Az, you deserve more than 5 stars!!!

Not the best place…read more My phone back screen was cracked so I came here to get it replaced. It was about $200 to get the screen changed. I got it changed and came back a few days later because I dropped it. I didn't even drop it that hard and the screen still managed to crack. I had to pay again to get it replaced. When I received the phone back, they cracked my camera lens.... I confronted them and they said they didn't do that. Thankfully I took pictures prior to the service and I showed him that it wasn't cracked when I dropped it off. They eventually replaced it for free but didn't even own up to their mistake and got petty. Few months past and the screen cracked even worse. I know I shouldn't be dropping my phone but it happens. At the same time, I shouldn't have to be paying so much money for bad quality. I wouldn't come here again...

-1,000 stars for Apple. Absolutely disgraceful customer service…read more What is the point of making a Genius Bar reservation if you're still expected to wait up to an hour? Is the concept of an appointment suddenly too complicated for Apple to understand? I was there Tuesday and was told I'd be waiting two hours as a walk-in, so I did the logical thing and booked an appointment for today. I arrived early, checked in, and patiently waited while the very nice employee gathered additional information and ran diagnostics on my phone. After all that, I was left sitting there waiting, watching two people who arrived AFTER me get helped BEFORE me. When I finally brought this up to another employee and told them I was leaving, their response--or rather, their complete lack of one--was just as appalling. Not even a simple, "Let me check on this for you" or an attempt to find out what was going on. No effort to help, no concern, no attempt to make things right. They simply let me walk out the door. Apparently, customer retention and basic customer service are optional at Apple. So let me get this straight: I made an appointment, arrived early, checked in, cooperated with the diagnostic process, and waited patiently, only to be passed over by people who arrived after me. And when I finally decided I'd had enough, not a single person cared enough to even TRY to resolve the issue. Why even offer appointments if you have no intention of respecting customers' time? And what kind of customer service allows someone to leave frustrated without making even the slightest effort to help? For a company that charges premium prices and constantly markets itself as a leader in customer experience, this was an embarrassingly poor display of service. The lack of accountability was bad enough; the indifference was even worse. Apple, your customers' time matters. Your appointments should mean something, and your employees should care when things go wrong. Today, you failed on every front. Do better.
