I've been here many times over the last year and while they've never been amazing, they were cheap so I got what I expected. Tonight was the final straw, went in they told us they would get myself and my sister in in about 15 minutes. So we waited, once they took us back they started on my pedicure the woman was rushing and not taking her time and made me bleed. So not only am I bleeding but by the times I'm done with my pedicure my sister still has not had anyone help her but 3 people who came in after us have all been started on. What usually take about 45 ended up taking almost two hours. Instead of even getting a manicure I just told the woman to start on my sister. I have given this place a try 4 times in the last few months and every time within a week my gel polish chips and peels off. This last time is peeled/lifted a few hours later. I think it's a clean place with nice enough people, but the products they use are cheap. When I first moved to town, I saw this place and went and got a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. They did a great job on my eyebrows, but they are easy to do since I have blond, light, and small eyebrows anyway. The only issue with the eyebrow waxing was that it cost $15, this is a little pricey for a 5 min procedure (but i guess if I'm too lazy to do it at home). The pedi was good, albeit normal. They took their time and I didn't feel like they were rushed. But every single thing that I am used to have during a pedicure was an additional charge. I feel like i only got half of what i would get at another place because they try to add each additional thing, asking you which choice you want (and the price) before you get it. My nail art consisted of a pink color for a tip and ONE flower (5 white dots around a black center dot) on my big toes. The art was not ugly, but it was very plain and didn't take any time or skill. Being from Las Vegas, Pedicures normally run about $20 with extras only for nail design. This place charged me for the scrub block, and lotion, in addition to the nail art! So, a mediocre pedi (because i was trying to save my wallet some dignity), cost me right around $60 here. In Las Vegas, everyone from Cali always jokes about our nail prices being so high. Maybe its my area around Rancho San Diego, but these prices were outrageous! read more

I used to come here for pedicures many years ago and they always did a great job for a reasonable price. I stopped in to treat myself to a pedicure a few weeks ago and I'm sad to say this place is not what it used to be. The salon now looks dingy, which does not make it appear very clean. To make matters worse, when I sat down at my chair the towel on the foot rest had something on it. I asked if it was clean and they said yes and flipped it over. Granted I probably should have left, but my past experiences here were always good. The pedicure itself wasn't particularly bad or good and the lady who helped me was actually pretty nice. The unfortunate part was that my polish started to chip pretty quickly, within a week's time. Usually I can get at least 3 weeks out of a pedicure and this one wasn't cheap. My least favorite part of the experience was that they really push you to pay in cash even though they have a credit card machine. came here because Eva's nails was completely booked. I only ordered the basic $19 pedicure because I'm sorry $34 pedicures just wasn't in my budget. They took 15 minutes to turn on the water and have my feet soak and when they did I swear my foot could have burnt off. The cheap pedicure is only 20 minutes however I was done in 7 and yes I was watching the time. My toes weren't cleaned, cuticles still in the toes and callus still there. I asked the guy if he was going to clean my toes then replied with a yes but if you would have gotten the 34 dollar package it would have been better. No thanks. Bad experience on so many different occasions. Poor service, always trying to push services down everyone throat, unclean and use same scrub brush from one client to the next. The women that did my pedicure was counting money with her hands and tried to come and touch my feet. She got mad when I told her not to touch my feet after touching money. I asked her to change her gloves and she rolled her eyes and told me she was done. If I'm paying you for a service. I expect my service to be good because I'm paying you good money. Nancy did my pedi and did such an amazing job digging out my ingrowns. Also, they will pester you nonstop about upselling which is annoying but typical I guess for nail salons. Just a little excessive at this one so just be firm with what you really want. Overall, I had a decent experience, they were really sweet and caring. They were closing and we were the last ones and my sister slightly ruined one of her nails and they went out of their way to fix it at the door on our way out. On a holiday. I came back during my last visit in San Diego during this holiday season, and I am so glad I did. I called ahead of time since I was hoping to go in the evening before New Year's Eve (also since it was my last day in town). They were so kind and were willing to accomodate me even though I was quite certain they were close to closing time. Linda took care of me for my gel manicure ($25). She was so kind and willing to help me pick out a color. I didn't quite have a specific color in mind for my mani, but she was so helpful and open to trying a mixture of multiple colors. The gel manicure included removing of the previous gel manicure, shaping, filing, soaking with cuticle oil, massage. Nancy helped me with my classic pedicure ($19). The classic pedicure was their starting level - it was my first time here. It was so great, very relaxing, including another wonderful massage. DO NOT! I repeat... DO NOT come here if you are looking to simply have your gel polish removed. They charged me $5 to remove from my feet which is normal pricing, however completely filed the gel off... no soaking what so ever. Then for my hands... she had me put my whole hands on a sponge soaked in acetone which was not really soaking anything but my skin.... and filed my nails down to paper to remove the gel polish and charged $10!!! A total of $15 to remove gel by filing! NEVER AGAIN will I return here. Total rip off!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would.. I came here today after being out to sea for over a month and needed to get my nails done. I came here before I left and the service was not that bad. Today it was super busy so I didn't expect to get serviced quick which was normal. However, while I was getting a gel mani pedi the girl told me it would be $15 for my nails and my pedicure would be $24. So a total of $39. When I was finished and paid, they brought me the receipt and it said $70. I asked about the prices and the gentleman and lady both said $70. So I asked for the price list and looking at the price list it said $24 for exactly the pedicure I got. I was charged $15 extra on both the mani and the pedi for gel.. I paid an extra $30 for gel. When I asked the girl "where does it say that gel is $15 extra on this price list" she just said it again "yes gel $15 extra" and I asked her again "show me on this list where it says the difference between gel and regular polish is $15" and she didn't know what to say. The gentleman and her insisted on getting me out of their salon because I was making a scene but I was allowed to be upset and allowed to ask for proof of this charge and they couldn't give it to me. So DO NOT come here if you want to get charged an extra $15 for gel nail polish. Completely unprofessional and rude! Plus they don't have that much of a selection of polish so I really don't understand why the extra $15 for less than 30 colors. read more
