Very rude unprofessional people. I kept getting a lot of stares for no reason. Also the worst part is that During my pedicure, the technician cut the skin on my toe, which caused immediate pain and made me pull my foot away. Instead of stopping to address the injury or offering proper care, she commented that it was due to my "toe shape." The area was left very painful, and the response felt dismissive rather than professional. I did not feel comfortable continuing the service after that experience. this is my regular salon and I am usually happy with my nails but today a older man did my nails and he seemed rushed and careless. he did an awful job!!!! the absolute worse acrylic set I've ever had. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she could see how bad it was and she said she would speak to him. He came over and said he could fix them but I was so upset that I didn't want him to do anything more than he had already done. I don't recommend him or this business anymore. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for an acrylic set, pedicure, and eyebrows to prepare for my wedding. I had the WORST manicure I've ever had and the gentlemen who did it was very rude. They rushed me in and he got to work on the acrylics. After the acrylics were on, he asked what color I wanted and I proceeded to show him my inspo pic of an ombré pink to white. He immediately got defensive and said I should have told him that at the start and that he couldn't do ombré once the acrylics were on. I've never done ombré before and didn't know what needed to be done to achieve that look. He then made it a point again to tell me that I should've told him beforehand what I wanted. How about you ask your client what they want?! I then had to choose a different look and went with an off white with sparkles. It ended up looking like thick, ugly teeth on my hands with a half dipped sparkle. And they KNEW I was the bride! Then I got burned by the wax for my eyebrows on BOTH SIDES. And to top it all off, they did the wrong color on my toes. I couldn't see that it was wrong until it was too late because I was too busy getting burned by the wax. I only went to tip the lady who did my pedicure, but she literally asked me about tips for the other 2 so she "wouldn't cause any trouble". So unprofessional. I'm NEVER going back to this place and I don't recommend you to go ever either. Thankfully another salon saved the day and undid the horrible nail job. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed them before but I've been going here exclusively for pedicures for several years now. They used to be swamped, especially before SD Charger games but not so much now. It's relaxing in there, plenty of room. I only get pedicures because I have trouble doing myself. They have a large screen TV turned to a cooking channel with the sound off and the music played softly is mostly 60's/70's hit, which I enjoy. Mindy is my gal, I only go to her. She is meticulous, very pleasant and tries hard to accommodate my requests. They use a liner in the water basin which is removed and disposed after each customer. I get the pedicure with callous removal. It's gone up a few dollars over the years but I feel it's a fair price. I see a lot of older clientele as well as couples men/women getting pedis. They do fingernails of course, brow waxing, not sure what else. Mindy works Wednesday-Saturdays. I highly recommend her and Paradise Nails. read more

I have been here several times with my daughter and it has been "ok". This past time was the worst. EVERY time I go the person helping us asks if I'm her grandmother. I'm not a young mom but - is it necessary to say that EVERY time? They asked how old I was when I had my daughter- which is none of their business. I answered with "old enough" and my nail lady said starting speaking in Vietnamese and even repeated what I said, "old enough" -so I know she was mimicking me. Most importantly, she was very tough when working on my toes and feet, yanked dead skin off, made me bleed and never seemed to care. I was squirming - I even said it hurt- and it was obvious she needed to slow down but just kept going. 15 minute pedicure and left me to sit for 15 minutes to "dry" while my daughter had a nice, calm and gentle 30 minute pedicure and my lady went off to do someone else's nails. 2 stars because they were nice to my daughter. read more

BAD - I used to love this place. I hadn't been in a while and was really surprised at how bad it is now. The lady at the front was super rude when my daughter changed her mind on the nail color. They had only put one coat on one nail when she decided. The lady kept coming over and talking to the nail tech the whole time. She kept asking my daughter not to change the color again. I was also disappointed in the lack of polish choices. The amount of whispering and obvious commentary about the guests was very rude. Mostly three stars . I've been coming to Paradise NAILS for years but only for pedicures. I always do a walk-in and they usually accommodate me within 15 minutes or so. If I'm coming in with my husband or daughter I will make an appointment, however. I don't see one particular person and in general I've always had a very good experience here. it's clean, bright, the massage chairs are comfortable and the prices are reasonable. I've only had a few bad experiences and they have included Accidentally cutting my cuticle, causing it to bleed and one recent experience making me wait for about 45 minutes in the actual chair until I finally just got up and walked out because I was so ignored. In general, I like the ease of walking in as it is located in a major shopping center strip mall, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. read more

I paid $37 for a gel manicure. Helen was my technician and did the fastest, non-caring Gel manicure I've ever had. It seemed like she was in a bad mood and didn't like me lol. Carelessly tossing my hand around. The old gel was not completely removed. Removing any cuticles took her about 30 seconds per hand. All nails are slanted and we're not shaped. Red gel polish is beyond boarders and sloppy. My bill was $37. I gave $60 and kindly asked for $15 back giving her an eight dollar tip which I now regret. Instead she brought me back $10!!! I had asked her for the other five back and she looked annoyed. You really think I'm tipping you $13 for this terrible job? I starting using Angel and she was nice and did an okay job on my feet, so the next month I set an appointment up, and things were going fine till some people came in, she did not wash my legs or put cream on she just wanted to get done asap, to get another client. It's extremely lumpy and my manicurist used 2 coats of base coat and 4 of the polish which seems excessive to me. Now wearing a mask to the nail salon should have been something set in place many many moons ago....rolls eyes* as the fumes are just so horrible people! Formaldehyde is a well-known VOC that can be found in nail polish and nail hardeners that are used in a salon. WITH that being said, I love a good nail salon that is OPEN, AIRY, and spacious. With COVID protocols; this salon has really gone above and beyond to make sure they are taking it serious & handling it properly. So ladies and gents if ya wanna get groomed during this pandemic, I mean I would recommend coming here as far as being cautious with COVID...however, I was not thrilled with the job done so I mean it is what it is. I gave 4 stars because: 1) I made an appointment for 11:00 a.m; called and confirmed; yet they could not see me until 11:25 a.m. so for someone like me who is very punctual, it was a nail biting experience of seeing if I would make it out of there on time eeeeek! 2) my toes looked decent; I just feel like I could have done a better job. I had to use my own red paint and perfect it once I got home. Yes I am a perfectionist but I also like to get what I paid for. Overall; the massage was fabulous, I love the spa chairs also how they dig into my back work out all the knots and kinks, they were all sweet, the restroom was clean, tons of parking, they take Covid very serious and they had good color selection so ehhhhh I mean it's comfortable to go here I just would probably try another place in the future as I don't like to get comfortable with being comfortable. DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE SLOW OVERPRICED SERVICE AND GETTING CUT IN THE PROCESS!! We made an appointment but still had to wait 15-20 mins to start. I was scheduled for a mani/pedi but nobody ever started on my hands. My "15 min massage" was 14 min on one leg and 1min on the other while she literally did not stop talking to the other nail person beside her. Not to mention she was rushing and really rough....throwing my feet and legs around and my massage was more painful than relaxing. THEN SHE CUT ME!! With the cuticle trimmers. I ended the session right then and there. She wiped my legs with the same towels she cleaned the bowl with (yuck!) and the tools didn't look sanitized. Also they put your feet in grocery bags (LOL) to let the scrub set it...I didn't really enjoy feeling like an eggplant. Not coming here again. read more

I'm very particular about nail salons because they must be very clean and use new files. This place does just that. They have a lot of nail stations and pedicure chairs. All of the chairs I have sat in function well and give a nice massage. They have a lot of polish and gel polish selections and will do different colors on different nails if you'd like. The staff is friendly and don't try to up sale you on services you didn't ask for. I also don't feel like they're talking about me when I'm sitting there and as stated before, they are clean! They put plastic liners in the bowl before you put your feet in it. They sanitize all of their tools after each client and they use new files for each client. I go to Lynn for my nails; she's fantastic. I use Terry for my toes. If you're looking for a new nail salon you should check them out. They are consistently good! read more

I forgot how CLEAN and nice it is in there and I got a beautiful pedicure. I did not feel rushed in & out like at some places and I am a hair stylist so I always look at how clean a place is. NO STARS!!! On Friday, December 28, 2018 I was in town and needed a full set & pedicure. I called and made an appointment so I would not need to wait long. They took me back right away upon my arrival. I paid $87 for both services. I left spending more than $100 as both to technicians did good and I was happy with the service when I left. That night I noticed my left thumb nail had several small bubbles in the gel nail polish which caused the polish to peel off. I went back first thing Saturday morning (December 29) to have that nail fixed. Roxy - the receptionist had Hellen - the same technician who had initially done them was happy to help. That same night my left and right thumb nail polish was blistered again and again was peeling off. I went back Sunday morning (December 30) and complained again. This time I was not so patient as it was now the third day in a row that I had been there. Upon walking in I tell the receptionist what was going on. She tells me that she's never seen anything like this before and again has Hellen fix them for me. At that time Roxy became very short with me, rolling her eyes at me in front of a full salon. This time there is another customer in there complaining that her gel polish is peeling as well and she had just gotten hers done there six days prior. Again, I returned first thing Monday morning (December 31) as both thumb nails had once again peeled and my nails looked horrible! I again tell Roxy what the problem is and I again show her my nails. Now, I am leaving town and headed back home. Roxy tells me I'd have to take a seat and wait AT LEAST an hour to have them fixed. I'm headed out of town and don't have time for this run around. I express my concerns to her and remind her that this was the 4th day IN A ROW I had been in there to have my nails fixed!! I asked to speak with a manager or owner and she tells me there is not one there. I ask for my money back - not for the pedicure but just for the full set and gel polish for my nails. Roxy informs me she is not allowed to refund any money and she assured me she would contact the owner THAT day to inform them of my experience. Today being January 7,2019 I still have yet to hear from anyone regarding my experience. This is why I have elected to Yelp this business. I have given Paradise Nails several opportunities to rectify the situation and clearly, based on my experience no one at this business seems to care. I would NOT recommend coming to have any services done here. They use OLD gel nail polish which is why it begins to peel after just a couple of hours after having them done. First time visiting here! Removed my nails and got a manicure. Nail tech tools did not come out of a sanitized bag, straight from her cart. After she used her tools on me she used a nail brush dipped it into used acetone and cleaned her tools she was also very pushy with my hands, roughly moving them around. Terrible service!! read more
