I came here because I was across the street and the reviews looked decent. I have a huge sanitary concern for this place. I witnessed someone getting a pedicure and the tub never got cleaned after her (there was no bag etc how some other places have). I never saw my tech once wash her hands in between customers then she picks up dirty foot towels and comes back to work on me.. ugh. Then she legit stopped doing my pedicure to clean up a customers pedicure when they complained. I wanted to scream when she didn't wash her hands. To top it off she throws the tools into the tool kit she is using to do my nails. Overall, I guess I paid for what I got.

These are my most recent nails that I am IN LOVE with. I go to "T" and she nails it every time!

Amazing nail salon!! I have been going to tulip nail for a couple years now and don't plan on going anywhere else anytime soon. The girls are always welcoming and will help you find any color and make your nail visions come to life! Highly recommend!

Lesson learned. Don't come to a nail shop just because it is cheaper thinking you will save money. Normally, I visit higher end nail shops in North County but my mom had an appointment here so I decided i'd get my nails done with her as she told me the prices are good. I got an acrylic full set and showed her a photo another Yelp user posted below. Well my result looks very amateur. The polish is streaky, edges are sloppy and ends are not filed even. When Tina was putting the tips on I clearly said not too long and she kept 'trimming' more but it didnt seem to be getting shorter. She also gave a lot of attitude each time I asked to shorten them and kept tugging my arms. She practically begged for the tip at the end! Needless to say i am unhappy with the result. I will now have to refile and shorten them at home. I paid $26 and I guess I got what I paid for. I will gladly go pay $40 next time in my area for professional results. Oh, and a BEE stung me in the waiting room chairs here! Not cool.

Acrylic take off - these are my real nails no manicure no application just take off.

Tina helped me take powder off my real nails without completely destroying my nails. She slow soaked them and let them soften before taking the powder acrylic off. Very much appreciated. She even shaped and filed them and applied cuticle oil. This is usually part of a manicure which is extra. Price for take off if getting no other service is $10, $15 if it has a gel top coat. I paid $15.

Dip powder ombré with matte top coat done by Amy!

I am SO happy I found this place!!! I've gotten mani/pedi here about 4 times now and I'm always over the moon with their work. Everyone I've seen is great but I really love Amy in particular. She delivers EXACTLY what I want every time!! Prices are fair, it's quality/lasting work, and I won't be going anywhere else for my nails! Seriously obsessed with this place!

She…read morehas an excellent eye for shape, also making sure the acrylic doesn't get too close to my cuticles (preventing that "lip" forming when it goes out). She's also super sweet and patient. For someone who has struggled with being a life-long nail biter, it's really important to me to make sure everything feels smooth so I am less likely to pick at my nails or try to "fix" them myself. It is so important for my self esteem that hands look nice. That being said, she never has scolded me or lectured me about my nails when I come in for a fill or fix. She simply leaves me feeling refreshed because my hands look good! She's very fast also (fill in less than 45 mins)! Keep in mind, she books up quickly. ***I've NEVER had any infections from going to this salon, so I'm not sure what other reviews are talking about. In fact, she's very knowledgeable. She has refused to do things requested that she felt would jeopardize the health of my nails, offering alternative healthy solutions.

I've been coming here for gel sets and have always enjoyed my nails, so this was actually my first time trying acrylics at this salon. Regardless of everything that happened afterward, I really did love how my nails looked when they were finished. I got a set of short acrylic nails, and the total came out to around $90. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, I developed what appears to be a fungal infection on my nails, which I have never experienced before. My natural nails were also chipped and filed down so much that they are now on their last layer. They are extremely thin, sensitive, and fragile, which has been very upsetting because my natural nails were healthy before this appointment. Toward the end of my appointment, the nail technician also seemed to be rushing, and I felt like the service was being finished too quickly. I usually don't speak up when something feels uncomfortable, but I've never experienced anything like this at a nail salon before. I understand that issues can sometimes happen, but paying $90 and leaving with damaged, extremely sensitive natural nails and a possible fungal infection is very disappointing. Especially as someone who has been coming here for gel sets, I really wanted to have the same positive experience with acrylics. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and makes sure proper sanitation, careful filing, and enough time are given to each client.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by all the lovely ladies who were busy pampering their clients. Brittany was so sweet and took so much care with my nails. I was really feeling the fall pastel colors, and instead of being able to narrow it down to just ONE color (because apparently I'm incapable of making decisions ), I went with a different color on every finger. Why choose one when you can have them all?! Brittany was incredibly patient and sweet throughout the entire appointment. I ended up staying a little past closing, and she never once made me feel rushed or like I was keeping her there. She continued to take her time and paid attention to all the little details, which I really appreciated. The salon itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. Parking was easy, and the location is super convenient you're close to restaurants, a coffee shop, the post office, and even a gas station if you're trying to knock out your whole to-do list in one trip. The only thing I would mention is to double-check pricing if you're doing something outside of a basic fill. I was quoted $44 for the fill, and there was an additional $5 charge for using multiple colors. Since I didn't have any special designs and the polish itself wasn't anything particularly fancy, I was a little surprised by the extra charge. It would have been nice to know about that upfront. That said, I'm still really happy with how my nails turned out, and Brittany did a great job. Sometimes you just need a little TLC... and apparently, that's exactly what I found! Thank you, TLC and Brittany, for the much-needed pampering session!
