Walking into Diva Nails and Spa was like stepping into a chill vibe zone. The place is clean, looks amazing, and they've got music and multiple TVs that makes you want to kick back and stay awhile. But, seriously, the crew here is what makes it all worth it. Everyone's super friendly, and they actually listen to what you want. I have been going here for years and would like to thank Vi, Franny, and Ricky for always taking care of me. I got myself a mani-pedi combo, and wow, they nailed it (pun intended!). If you have a nail inspo, they can make it happen. Personally, I love my nails extra & detailed, and they make sure everything was perfect. Plus, the products they used were top-notch - my skin and nails have never felt better. On top of that, my nails last and don't break or come off easily. They have tons of colors and nail art to choose from if you prefer a variety of options like myself. What's really cool is how they make you feel extra special. Need a drink? You got it. Want to tweak the massage chair? No problem. They're all about making sure you're 100% cozy. Basically, Diva Nails and Spa is where it's at if you want to feel pampered and leave looking your absolute best. It's not just about getting your nails done; it's like a mini-vacay. I walked out feeling totally refreshed and loving my nails. So, if you're looking to treat yourself and have a great time doing it, check out Diva Nails and Spa. Pricing is affordable and your nails come out amazing. Trust me, you'll be planning your next visit before you even leave. I posted some past nails i've done so you can see why I am still a loyal customer (: 10/10 recommend!
Vii and her staff are wonderful! Great atmosphere and you feel so comfortable here. If you're into long nails with fancy designs book with Francheska . See her beautiful work on Instagram . Check out Ricky's instagram too . He's been my daughters nail tech for over a year now, she loves how he can design what she wants. Quality is a must for us and this place is the best in San Diego IMO . Scheduling is a must since they're always busy every time we are there.
Lovely spot and great service! I have tiny short nails which are really harder to do-and the woman who did my nails did such an amazing and thorough job was very sweet-checked in about my needs and concerns. The woman who did my pedicure was super sweet and caring and thurough. The owner is super sweet and the gentleman has done my nails once before-super sweet. This is definitely my favorite place of all of the places I have been in San Diego!
I love coming here. Vii is always my go to, especially for and design work. The staff is always super friendly and inviting. It's like hanging out with friends when I'm here.
Cherry Blossom nails for my engagement! I'm so happy with how they turned out , thank you for putting time into making my nails beautiful for my special moment! My fiancé appreciated the hospitality from the nail techs too
This is my second and last review on Divas... I always request Linda. I decided to stop using acrylics for some time because I wanted to let my own nails grow. I used to get designs every time I got acrylics and I was always charged $60. When I started getting dip powder, she still charged me $60. I had a feeling that I was overcharged. Especially when another employee asked her twice about the amount she was charging me. Like insinuating that Linda was mistaken. I would always leave her what I thought was a good tip of $10-$15. On November 17, I made an appointment at 6 pm for acrylic nails. I told her I wanted a certain shape like she had done before but she couldn't do it. I am very understanding of the language barrier so I was fine. Long story short, the appointment took over 2 hours. I live a minute away driving and I got home at 8:21 pm from my appointment at 6 pm. There was another lady waiting for Linda. When she finished, I went to pay. I took money out of the machine because I never carry cash. I took out $80. The lady who charged me took the money and said thank you have a goodnight. I was in disbelief because I did not expect to leave a $20 tip and I had never had this experience of anyone telling me the amount I should tip. I have always received change so I can leave however much I wanted. I told her I wanted change and she said that is the tip for her? And I was like no, that's $20. The lady looked annoyed like if it was my fault for the 2 hour plus service. I decided to leave Linda $15 because she stayed late and I appreciate Linda's services. Unfortunately, this is the last time I will be going back. My kindness has been mistaken by stupidity.
So glad I took a chance and came here! I don't ever stray from my usual gals but I was so desperate yesterday and found this salon after searching through Yelp. Vi agreed to take me at 6:30 despite being closed at 7! I was a bit nervous since I typically only go to people that I know, but man I'm so happy to have found Vi. She is so fast at what she does, while still producing high quality nails. I am extremely picky and all I had to do was show her a picture of what shape I wanted and she handled the rest. Also, the salon provides complimentary drinks - wine (red/white), champagne, tequila (if you're rlly down) and others. Just ask them! I'll definitely be coming back for Vi!
I came in to get gel manicure today. They took me in pretty fast. Maybe within 10 minutes. I noticed in the end, while standing at the cash register that my gel manicure was supposed to come with a massage and a hot towel. That was not offered to me yet I was charged the full amount 40. I didn't want to argue so I just paid. Disappointing... If you don't offer that anymore then change your menu.
10/10, I love this place. 1. The customer service is always amazing and so welcoming. 2. The quality of products and service that they provide is also top tier. (I am a menace with my nails and this is the only place that will set a GEL MANICURE FOR LONGER THAN TWO WEEKS which is unheard of for me.) 3. It's easy to find and they have parking available. Over all I'd recommend this place to a San Diego local native or someone stopping by in the city. Call for an appointment or show up, idc but you need to try this salon out.
I've been coming here for over a year now, and the vibes and the quality is unmatched. I will never go to another nail salon! Vi and her team are just so amazing at what they do and the friendships I've made with the staff is so wholesome I recently got engaged and married, and just look at how amazing my nails were I would never let anyone else touch my nails for my special events, or on any regular set or fill for that matter
I would go through 20 salon before I give it a chance. Lucky me, I found Best diva nails & spa!!! My sister and I went here for a pedicure initially and we loved it. Jennie did my pedicure and she scrubbed my heels so good! Jennie is quick but she does good quality work, also her she messaged my leg for a good 10-15 mins. Ricky I believe was his name, did my sister's pedicure and if you're look for a perfectionist, look no further because my sister's pedicure and paint job came out perfect. Today, my I called and made an appointment with Vi for a full set and she exceeded my expectations. I have a little girl, so I got my nails pretty short.
I have been through sooooo many nail salons and I have found the PERFECT place ! Best Diva Nails & Spa. The girls and young gentlemen there are AMAZING ! Very welcoming and literally feels like a place of laughter. Once you walk in, you will feel as if you're a part of the salon because of how friendly they are. Not only is customer service 10 stars but the work they all perform is also A+++++ ! You can't just choose ONE person to work on you because they are all that great !!!! Book your appointment and experience the quality of beautiful nailssss honeyyyyy

Diva nails and spa is the only nail spot I go to for years. They always get me in for an appointment and stay past closing time to finish up the designs for my nails, which I appreciate (not recommending to come near closing tho). They normally have refreshments elevating the experience. Everyone is so friendly and knows each other to a personal level. They have a variety of colors and styles to choose from, and they always do well with designs! I have a hard time going to certain people since I have crooked nail beds so my nails tends to end up crooked. Vi always makes sure my nails are straight and she waxes my eyebrows evenly even tho they're crooked as well. I trust their services 10/10!! read more

Been coming here for a while and has never been disappointed by the price and service! The business is clean, nice and bright, and play great music / have shows playing-- it varies but still entertaining and not an awkward atmosphere. Nikki took great care of me-- super creative and able to do all of the artistic nail designs i've showed her! I particularly like how thin the layer of acrylic is because i've definitely been to places where it's pretty thick and chunky so i'm glad to find a shop that isn't overpriced and does the job right. read more

So happy I found this place. It's bright, open, modern, and clean. I noticed the salon uses plastic liners for their pedicure chairs and new tools which is something I look for. There wasn't a strong chemical smell walking in either- extra points! The staff is welcoming and I was taken right away for my morning appointment. Sherry is so talented and meticulous, I loved my pink and white fill. (She's only available Friday- Sunday btw). She was gentle when drilling as well, much appreciated compared to other salons that nick the skin in a hurry. Seems like they're currently having a $25 mani pedi special which is a total steal. Definitely check this place out (: they got themselves a new customer. read more

Amazing, detailed nail techs here. Everything is sanitized and new. Every time Vi takes care of me she makes sure I like the design and shape before she continues on. Cuticle care is a plus. My gel nails were a mess, it had been two weeks since I got my new full set of gels. I popped in this salon after getting my oil changed down the street. I have now found my permanent nail salon. Tina was very into her work, took her time and did a fantastic job. They look better than when I got the full set, thank you thank you. See you in a few weeks Tina! UPDATE: The very next day the tips were cracked! I was heartbroken all my beautiful nails had cracks. They were only on the white part of the nail. I thought maybe it had gone bad. I called and the owner said to come in anytime. So I went in and Miley fixed all my nails for me! They are all beautiful again, thank you thank you! I will be back to either Tina or Miley as their work was great, I just think the white gel polish had gone bad. The girls did an excellent job, both of them. The owner (I'm sorry, I don't know her name), was super sweet too! read more

Went here after a bad experience at another nail salon. Everything started off great but then I ended up with this (please see photo). Is this the design I asked for...ya. Was it executed correctly...ABSOLUTELY NOT. You can see my entire under-nail. If this design wasn't going to work, she should have let me know as soon as she did one nail. After she was finished, I expressed that I was not happy and that I wanted a solid color painted over the top. She responded saying she had other appointments. She continued to have me pay the entire $45.00, oh and i forgot to mention that she cut my skin. I'm beside myself that I was asked to pay for something that looks so horrible. She did say I could come back tonight at 7PM for her to fix them, but why would I go back after a service like this? I was too worried they would intentionally cut me or give another crappy product The customer service was less than acceptable. I can't believe that a salon owner would let a paying customer leave their place of business with a product that looks like this....needless to say I won't be returning and have let everyone I know to never go to this salon. read more

This is my first time back at a nail salon since covid. I called that day and was able to get a full set appointment for right after work. I've been to this place before a couple years ago, but it's completely remodeled. The inside is very clean, bright, and welcoming. I believe my nail tech is the owner, but I wasn't able to catch her name. My nails are so beautiful and perfect! The coffin shape is exactly what I wanted. During the appointment she asked if I liked the shape and I really appreciated that. I'll definitely be back! read more

I didn't know something as simple as a COFFIN shape could get better...who would of thought, like how, what.... Today all that changed thanks to NOI - girl you hooked me up! I came in with a busted broken nail hanging off and all - she worked her magic on me and was like wait until you see my coffin! Hmmm...Didn't know what i was getting myself into....Sure enough, my eyes lit up! The coffin shape is so perfect...if looks could kill *sigh* they are on point girl! Go see NOI!! I don't think I could trust another lady with a "coffin" shape ever again. The salon is small and cute - friendliest ladies I have ever met at a salon - Vicky is also such a doll! They are all so sweet and welcoming - bonus: mmmmm they offer mimosas PS - I've been doing the ESSIE GEL polish and girl let me tell you .... QUAL-IT-Y! Love the selection of colors Make an appointment ahead of time - as I mentioned the salon is small so it will help! Time is money people.. Pay with cash - I've been paying with card and it's convenient and all but the service fee to use the card is not cute lol... Definitely found a favorite hidden gem plus get you a margarita after at the Mexican restaurant next door (bomb) win - win. read more
