I used to go there often to get my pedicure. The lady who helped me was always courteous and did an excellent job. I stopped going due to the pandemic so I had not been there for over a year. Unfortunately, the lady who previously helped me was not there on this given day. So I went with someone who never had help me before. There were some things that went wrong right away. Yet I kept giving her the benefit of the doubt.. 1. I greeted her and asked how she was doing. Her reply was, I work here but today is my day off and I'm here. I thanked her. 2. I asked a full set and showed her my desired nail designed to which she frowned to. Saying that she was not sure, that I needed stickers. I showed her a similar design that was not a sticker. She was not motivated to do it. 3. I showed her three other designs but she was still not too happy about those. Fine, I thought, I'll get just the plain nail polished. It's not the end of the world. 4. Again, she mentioned it was her day off but was called to come in and help out that Sunday. I mentioned that I truly appreciated her being there. I said it twice. No reply from her. 5. While she was getting my nails ready, she did not want to trim my natural nails. I had to asked her twice. 6. When she adhered the fake nails, and cut them for the short stiletto style I wanted, I noticed how asymmetrical she was cutting them. I hoped she would shape them better. Unfortunately, she did not ad the careless cutting carried over the final shape. 7. She applied the acrylic quite heavy and rapidly... I was surprised who fast she was but she did the same on the filing and shaping, at times hurting my fingers. Too fast as if she was in a hurry. 8. I asked for gel polish. She opened the nail polish which was dried up and applied some fluid to it to dilute it. The bottle looked it had been thru this process a few times. Once on my nails, it lacked that beautiful shine. They were cutting corners with supplies. Not the best decision. 9. The whole process lacked attention to detail. She did not clean the smeared polished on my finger nails, did not disinfected my nails, I have dried little skin around my nails that was not cut. You know, all those little things that make you feel pampered and happy. Once my nails where done, the more I thought about it, the less I wanted to get my pedi done there so I decided not to get it after all. I questioned the price and the owner told me that I questioned that because I did not get the design I wanted. The owner just wanted her money and did not care to know the details. I paid her and told her I will write a bad review. I used to take my husband and two daughters there. I have no idea if I'll return. My suggestion to the owner is to listen to the customer, find out why there is discomfort, evaluate the work, the service, and stride for quality. Negotiate with the customer. Make it a win-win for all involved. A "let me take a look and see how we can make it better would have worked wonders and solidified a customer relationship. read more

This is your average, casual, sometimes super busy neighborhood nail shop. They only accept cash and have an ATM avail if you don't have any. I would suggest calling ahead of time to see what the wait time is. They will set appointments, but even when you arrive, there's still a wait time. They have a lot of colors to choose from. I'm pretty simple with my nails as I like them short and natural with a thin coat of gel nail polish. I love to see DD for my pedicures and Emily for my gel mani and sometimes pedis. I don't usually do this BUT given the circumstance... well first off the lady kept asking me what I wanted and I told her over and over that I wanted to take my acrylics off since I had my index finger smashed in a door. I told her I wanted to keep my natural nails and I asked her what's the best thing to do for them because I didn't wanna damage them. Well there was multiple things wrong with my time there but I brought my own nail strengthener and she pretty much took off the nails, filed them a little, and put the strengthener I brought and called it a day ... IM LIKE excuse me ??! So I tell her well I want color and she sighs loudly and says "you didn't tell me that" and I'm like yes I did. I want them to look cute that's why I came here.... anyways so she goes ok ok go pick color as she waves her hand in a manner like get out of my face. Then she does THIS WORK.... I mean cmon !!! Then she instantly moves me away. Honestly I expected a cuticle treatment or massage on my hands. It was so awful like she wanted me gone. Ugh so much more but point is ILL NEVER GO BACK ! Nails by Long is located in Fam Mart but in about a month they will be moving across the street to a different location. (I hope they don't increase the prices). The ladies are awesome! Although they speak their native tongue, they also speak english and we actually have a conversation going on. (Some other facilities I've been to don't even converse with you.) For a spa pedi and callous removal it was like $30. Done quickly, very basic and absolutely no going the extra mile. Came here yesterday and waited about 1-2 hours and I got Annie. I'm not sure if Annie is the only person that does brows, but she kept leaving me while doing my nails. I felt that she was in a rush while gluing the nails on, and applying the acrylic. When she applied the acrylic, she applied such a thick amount, then she left to do someone's brows that barely came in. They didn't even wait like I did, which I didn't like. And repeat while doing my nails. I usually go to Le's Beauty Salon. I know every salon is different and every nail technicians have their own way to do nails, but I just didn't expect it to be like this. Finally, she settled down and actually did my nails, and filed down the thick acrylic. She told me to wash my hand since she was done with the shape, application and everything, so I did. I left my bag on the chair real quick, and she gave it to me while I was washing my hands. I thought she was just giving it to me for personal safety precautions, but when I was all done with washing my hands, she was already doing someone else's nails leaving me with just acrylics. Mind you there is no polish or anything, just acrylic. Another worker painted my nails instead. Don't get me wrong, the workers there are so nice and sweet, I just didn't like how I was left and felt that me as a customer wasn't as important as the other customer?? My nails didn't come out great, which is what I expected for $28. Great results, but my experience wasn't. I love my nails tho lmao read more
