Thank you, but I have already seeked medical attention for this and confirmed I am dealing with a fungus. For the last 25 years I've been getting acrylic I have NEVER had this issue, I am very aware of nail care and this is a sanitation issue! Please do not comment back with chat GPT unless you take accountability! The ambiance is really nice, and they offer snacks along with drinks and wine, which is a great touch. My first visit was a great experience. Unfortunately, during my second visit for a fill-in, I ended up with a fungal issue under my nail. This raised concerns for me about sanitation practices, as everything appears very clean on the surface. This place is literally just as amazing as it was a couple of years ago. I'm so glad I went back. They're extremely accommodating and their new expansion that happened is just amazing. I love all of the snacks that they offer. I had Christine today do my nails, and she was wonderful and engaging. She made my nails look just beautiful. I really love this salon, so glad it's still around for me after I moved back. I went to another salon a couple of weeks ago and then all I could think about was how I just wish I had gone to Peacock instead. I've been coming here for years. Today was disappointing. I asked for Builder gel fill, i didnt mind the wait since I was a walk in. After she was done, i realized the manicure/cuticle removal was not included. I nicely asked the front desk to please do it. So the lady who did my nails brought me back and it almost felt like im such an inconvienient and she was pissed. Not only the gel art was a bit sloppy (see the pics) the addional $10 i paid for cuticle removal was so bad. Considering how much i paid, this was disappointing. I called looking for same day availability for a pedicure appointment. I was able to get an afternoon appointment. It was my first time at this nail salon. I selected the deluxe pedicure and added a callus treatment. I can't deny the $61 dollar pricing is more than what I would ideally want for a pedicure; however, it was a nice treat myself. Kathy, my nail tech, brought out a platter of scrubs, fruits, and lotions. I selected the jasmine scented bath bomb and Kathy used the oranges/citrus to scrub away at my feet at first. The 25 minute massage was nice to enjoy while using the chair massager on my back. I appreciated how timely and efficient Kathy worked. The decor is modern and bright, but looks worn slightly since you can see the wear and tear in the salon. I'd be back again! read more

I thought $60 was tooo much boy was I mistaken, they lady did so many things to my feet I'm sure half of these things were illegal in several countries! This being my first time here I wasn't sure why to expect besides like a normal pedicure with fancier chairs. But oh no this was way more, they are using flowers fruited and vegetables to make soups out of your feet juices there taking citrus and scrubbing it deep into your skin(as I can still smell I 3 days later) and the most shocking that took me by a beautiful surprise was the bags of melted wax they put on your feet OH LORD! I never knew I needed nore wanted this! But I thank you for every second! Do yourself a favor and GO NOW!! We love peacock nails! read more

I had the best pedicure here! I came in on a Sunday late afternoon because this place was still open when my usual spot already closed. I just felt like needing a pedi so I got the Deluxe pedicure that came with the paraffin wax and gel polish for $87. It's slightly on the pricey side but the place is so nice. Okay, so to start off -- I asked for a manicure and builder gel, but didn't get any manicure care. He immediately started drilling my nails without soaking them first. Let me start by saying that this wasn't my first time at this salon, but it certainly will be the last. The way they handle simple customer service etiquette is diabolical. I went in for a gel-x fill and pedicure with gel. Elaine did my pedicure and she rocked it, I showed her a reference photo for maybe 3 seconds and she nailed it. She was so kind and did a wonderful job and would happily return for her and only her. However, the gel-x is where things fell extremely short. I've had acrylics for like 10 years and have had gel-x many times as well in the mix. My nails before going in had had 2 fills (gel-x) done on them, this being the 3rd. Bibi drilled all of the gel off my nails and placed builder gel. I thanked her for removing all of the old gel and she continued. This is where things really raised concerns. She started to apply the builder gel onto my natural nail in huge clumps, no meticulous placement in the slightest. Like I said, I've had gel-x/builder gel done before and have never had anyone do their application in such a way. When I tell you, big random clump thrown on my nails, I mean it. I was super excited to get this color and I just kind of let her do her thing because why should I be concerned she doesn't know how to do her job? When she was almost done and was doing the cuticle oil, she buffed my right pointer finger in acknowledgment that there was something off, placed more top coat and cured it and walked away. I had the remainder of my pedicure to examine my half arsed nails. Finding a bump on that exact finger she had even "corrected" made me pretty upset. My left thumb was so uneven I couldn't believe it. My right thumb, much better! When I went up to pay, I expressed my concerns and let them know I did not want to wait for them to be fixed and I just wanted to pay and leave but I wasn't comfortable paying $65 for the nails that were done. I asked if there was a way that it could be discounted as I didn't have the time to wait for a fix and honestly didn't want her fixing them anyway. Bibi said that she would pay $10 and that I would have to pay the $55, but then she couldn't fix any nails. I declined the offer as I still feel $55 is far too expensive for the poor nail job I received. Ultimately, they said their policy is that they remove or fix if someone is unhappy so I needed to decide. I decided to fix because I wanted my nails done and spent all this time in the salon already to just not have nails would be foolish. Let her fix them and again she just rushed and left them terrible. I did however notice she may have been pregnant, so I do feel really bad that I even complained. But my friend who came with me and everyone who had seen them said they would be pissed off if they received those nails. She was super combative and defensive blaming my nail shape, when I've been getting my nails done for 10 years and have never experienced that poor of a job. I'm not a complainer, I'll pay and walk out and never return. I wanted to stand up for myself and felt stuck. I didn't want her to be the one to fix them but that was my only option. When I went to pay, she told me my total was $134, $65 for nails and $69 for toes. I got the European Pedicure with gel, which had a price of $59 on their menu. I noticed the difference, didn't say anything, paid their scamming fees and left to never return. If they had played their cards differently, they would still have a returning customer. However, they did not and lost one forever. read more

Went here for a walk in on a Saturday and they were packed! This place is such a cute nail salon with a beautiful interior. They do provide more of a spa experience rather than a quick in and out nail spot. So in my opinion, their prices are fair for the level of detail and service they offer. I got a gel mani by Christine and loved it. She was meticulous and listened to my requests. I highly recommend her. I wasn't too big of a fan of my pedicure - I didn't catch her name but she was definitely going through the motion and it felt rushed. I noticed she had set the massage timer before even starting to massage so just keep a lookout for minor things like that. On the other hand, my sister LOVED her pedicure. She even fell asleep at one point. Her nail lady was Hanna and she highly recommends her. Overall, I loved my mani and my sister loved her pedi. This is a tough one. Had never been here but it was middle ground for a friend and I to meet. Had pedicure appts and I arrived on time ... she was 10 minutes late so that probably didn't help anything run smoothly. I was seated a few minutes later and offered a variety of drinks ranging from a mimosa to Vietnamese coffee!! I opted for the coffee which I found very tasty. The pedi chair was nice- but when I went to change setting the screen on the remote was broken so you had no idea how to adjust the type of massage or the intensity- which was a bummer. My pedi was $37 reg or $47 with gel... plus $5 for calus treatment...so $52 a was my total. For a little place in LEMON GROVE, this was pretty steep. I paid that in La Jolla at a resort and spa and the massage was longer and nicer. Would we return? Not likely. Nothing horrible to say, but I can spend $15 less at next local spot. read more
