Customer satisfaction is very poor. The quality of their nails are descent. I've gone here for some time now just for a quick mani pedi with gel. I came in got seated with no one behind me waiting. All of a sudden a customer comes in and the owner asked if I could come back to get my nails finished. What???? I payed for my Pedi and went next door to finish the job. How rude to ask me to come back and then lie to me and say the customer had a appointment. Never going back. Loyalty is not there. read more

I recently saw a young ladies nails and ask where she got them done and to my surprise it was at Helen's Nails. I live in the LG area so I decided to give them a try. Keep in mind there are about 5 different nail shops in this shopping strip and I've been to a few, but never Helen's Nails. I called before to make sure they weren't busy and they weren't (Monday after Mother's Day). I asked how much for a powder dip fill and spa pedicure, $40/$30. I park in front of Helen's and there was paper in the windows and a sign saying they are temporarily down at the barber shop. I go to the barber shop a relatively small space but they have about 3 nail stations, a couch and a few folding chairs. Two clients were being serviced, one at a nail station getting her nails done and another in the folding chair getting a pedicure (no spa chair!). I explained I just called and asked about a spa pedicure, the nail tech said yes $30. I was baffled that they would charge the same prices when clearly you weren't going to get the same experience in this cramped space. They probably do an excellent job but I feel like they could've come down off the price if you can't deliver the same experience and I don't want to hear they have to pay for the materials, I know everything has gone up however when clients want to get pampered they shouldn't pay shop prices when they're being serviced in a closet. Once they are back in their original space I MIGHT give them another chance, just couldn't do it today. read more

I stopped in for a pedicure, polish change, and broken nail repair. The pedicure was great. The service on my polish change was unprofessional. The tech stopped twice to do eyebrow waxing on two clients in the middle of my service. She was not friendly at all. I had to remove polish off my nails and skin after she took my polish off because of the sloppy job she did. She was at the 3rd station but I didn't get her name. She didn't greet me or introduce herself. Also I think $15 for a polish change was excessive. I brought my own polish. I had to point out several of my nail that weren't covered on the sides of my nails. My 11 yr old niece could have done a better job. I felt she did a lazy job. Never going back there! Got a mani/pedi, but I had to ask the tech who did my nails to please polish the entire nails, then she only half painted them with the top coat also! She didnt do any type of hand/arm massage and didnt apply any lotion or cuticle oil. My pedicure wasn't AS bad, however I asked the tech to not cut one of my toenails because it was splitting, but she stated she could cut beyond the split, well, she was right, she cut the MF down to my nail bed and its sore as helll now! The wait is never too long, the customer service is amazing. It's a one stop shop for baby smooth heels, clean cut nails and slicked eye brows. I love this place and if you're there too long, they give you snacks and water. Perfect solution for a moment of self care. And the price is never outrageous. Very reasonable. My grandmother went to Helen for years and since moving back to the city, I go there for my tips and toes. Nails aren't breaking either between. This shop is the shop. read more

I have been going here for about 6+ years and I always get the same nails, very basic French tip nails with acrylic and natural if my nails are long enough. Don't know much about how they work with different styles but for basic color and for French tip, they are the best! Desperate for a Mani/Pedi. I've tried multiple places based on Yelp reviews. I do not have a problem paying for service. What bought me to Helen's has caused me to search for a new place since their prices went up and their service went down. $35 for a raggedy Mani/Pedi is my last time in this place. Nga was in such a rush that I had to ask her to trim my nails. She acted as though I was asking her to commit murder. No, I don't want you to wax my eyebrows. I think this is the first 4star I gave to an establishment. The salon looks old, and the workers here are a bit of age. However, their work is fantastic. My daughter had an acrylic design, and I have They use the old technique still, which includes taking out cuticle it in right way. If you want to get your nails done properly. I recommend this location as it also one of the cheapest I've been to. Note: they do not have the massage chair which I do not think should be a downfall since I went there to get my nails done. read more

Love the prices!! I gotta say this first because I called around for prices all around my area and Helen's was the best quote for what I wanted. I went in for a fill on my full set and got gel polish which was only $20, I also got two different colors which I thought was gonna be extra but it wasn't at all, they are more talkative and Helen seemed to know everyone who walked in as well as their families, she was very welcoming. I don't know who did my nails but she was very gentle and she also made nice conversation, they were all nicer than a lot of the nail places I've been too. I usually get my nails done from a place right down the street from here but last time I went they cut me and infected my finger so I was on the hunt for a new place. I found helens which I was iffy about because of the look of the outside but I walked in and they greeted me and I sat right down. I got a women named Lue? Not sure if that's the correct spelling but she got right to my nails and did an AMAZING job. She took her time for my nail shape which I had asked for coffin (seems like a lot of nail places now a days don't know how to do the shape correctly) and made sure I liked it before moving on to the next step. I really appreciated that. The only thing I didn't like is 1. They didn't have a lot of colors to choose from. 2. They like to talk a lot but never to their customers.
