I bought a laptop from them on Amazon and it has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had from Amazon. They sent me a laptop that was supposed to be "certified refurbished" but it didn't work from the moment I got it. I tried to work with them to get it straightened out and I thought we had it settled and then they reneged on their promise after I agreed to remove my negative feedback on Amazon if they provided me a replacement. They received the broken one back and they were well aware of how urgent it was that I needed the replacement and told me the replacement would be shipped within 24-48 hours at most. Well, after 8 days they still had not shipped the replacement and just gave me the run around and I finally get an email today that they aren't replacing it they will just refund my money. They could have done that 8 days ago! The customer service was completely unhelpful and the fact that a refurbished computer is sent out in disrepair says a lot about their company to begin with but then just to string me along over and over again, there is no excuse. If you happen to be lucky enough to buy from them and your product works good you, you are a lucky one. If you ever have any issues though be prepared for a ton of frustration!! Stick with ordering from a more honorable company! Please! You will be sorry Update: After this review someone reached out to me, supposedly to make this right and I was promised a replacement would be shipped out on Thursday so that I would receive it before the weekend. I waited around the home all day and it never came. I emailed them asking what was going on and was told that apparently they are so disorganized that they refunded me instead but I believe it was a vindictive move to make me wait all day Friday for my order and also delaying me from ordering a new one from somewhere else as they knew I was needed a laptop urgently. Also, they may appear to have positive reviews on Amazon but that is because they pay customers to take down negative reviews. I was offered $150 to remove mine. Overall a dishonest company read more

I ordered a Sony Xperia 10 Plus with a lot of top tier freebies, and expected it to be at my door in 2 business days. Indeed it took 4, and the freebies are not as pictured but instead some knock off brands. The most important thing is the security sticker was tempered. Then I called customer service to address the issue. After an expected half hour wait, the service rep was very rude and denied all of my claims even I have the picture ready. Then she only offering the return to solve the problem instead of working with me and it will take another week on top. A partial refund is also not an option. If this is not for the sake of my gift-card I won't be shopping here. And now the gift-card is gone and I will never shop here again. read more

Great Company, ordered an item from them on eBay, Had issues with delivery and my shipping address they where there to help, received an item in perfect condition as described , would buy again if needed, highly recommended place. read more

Paid 15 extra for delivery, its been a week and package hasn't hit the carrier. I contacted FedEx and they haven't received any package, focuscamera blames FedEx and is trying to con me out of my money. I just filed with the better business bureau and will do a fraud chargeback with my bank tomorrow. This has been a horror story read more

I bought an a6300 bundle that came with media editing software about 3 or 4 montha ago and lost the software codes that it came with. Focus customer support responded very quickly to my email and sent me another set of codes at no extra charge. Thank you! read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the wide array of products I was able to find at Focus Camera. The staff was very friendly and helped me find all the gear I was looking for. Will definitely be back :) read more

Great online shopping experience. I placed a few orders over a few days and the team even called me directly to just verify that it was in fact me who was making the purchases. Some people might find this annoying but in this day and age with all of the online fraud and hacking going around, I appreciated it. I was able to quickly verify the order and it was shipped to me very quickly. All of my orders were shipped quickly. I found that Focus provided good prices and also bundles that included cables or other useful add-ons. I purchased audio production gear and will consider them in the future. read more

I got a good deal on a product with Focus Camera through Brad's Deals. I received the item on time and exactly as described. I would definitely shop with this store again. read more

Contacted by Joyce from Focus Camera Customer Service department and got price match. Updating the rating to 5 stars.

Be warned. Gave them a chance, and shopped on focuscamera.com. Ordered a product marked new, but received a used, open-box product that was also missing parts. Don't do business with these fools. Lack of honesty, instead of just conducting a legitimate business, shooting themselves in the foot. Filth. read more

Purchased two prosumer cameras from these guys over the last 3 years and had a good experience both times. Most recently impressed with the turn around time of an online order and delivery which was completed 3 days earlier than estimated. I'll purchase from these guys again next time I'm in the market for another camera. read more

Ordered a sog multi tool which was priced about 25% lower than anywhere else I found it the tool came faster than expected and the service and price of this store/site exceeded all expectations can't wait to order more gear in the future. read more

Have good shopping experience with focus camera, get sony A7II with very good customer service from Alysa. thank you very much!

Focus Camera is on a roll ! Aside from having excellent prices on bundle deals with Sony cameras, I just found out today they also have excellent customer service! Particularly from Joyce Perez. I bought a Sony A6500 and RX100V from them more than a month ago but RX100V was not getting too much attention, so I submitted an inquiry online using their off-hours link to ask how to initiate a return for it. I was surprised to see an email response from them just minutes after I sent that inquiry. Then they approved my return without hassle. After a few more minutes, UPS label and RMA were sent to my email. I was expecting a pushback since I was past few days from their return period but boy I was wrong. Talk about making customers happy. Thanks Joyce! read more

Great neighborhood spot for your camera needs. They have a nice selection online and prices are good too. Had to get a speedlight for my dslr. Got a great deal at the store. Nice to know there is a store close by with such a selection of goods. Great folks at the store as well. Very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend. I will definitely be back for my camera needs. read more

Perfect! Their price was the best, and when I ordered it, it was in the mail the same day. (2 day free delivery). I received it in perfect condition. I will definitely consider buying from them again. read more

It's the place to go for awesome deal for camera and accessories!! The customer service is very helpful.

I was having an issue with ordering a lens for my camera. I jumped on chat and was able to get in touch with Max. Max not only was able to fix the problem, they was able to manually place the order for me. I'm so happy they were able to help with out with the issue. It was an unique issue and while it took a while to solve, Max was able to solve it. I will be ordering from Focus again in the future. Their dedication to fixing the situation made me a long term customer. Thank you! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. When the A7Riii came out, I couldn't find one anywhere, except here. Called them up and Max helped me out right away. He found the model I was looking for, and even though needing it in a rush was my fault for not pre-ordering the camera, Max made it his priority to get it to me as fast as possible. I'm definitely calling them back for future needs. read more

I bought Sony A6000 from them, the initial product had some dead pixel issues. I had a trip planned and asked them for expedited shipping which they did. When I received the replacement, they had missed my 55-210 lens and had just shipped the camera with 16-55mm lens. This was a little of inconvenience. Support representative Felecity Yearwood helped me a great deal on this and got the other lens shipping over night but not soon enough for my trip :( . Later I found that the price had dropped, even though Focus Camera has a price match policy of 7 days, they matched mine after 15 days due to all the inconvenience caused. So overall, I am happy with the experience. read more

The cheapest prices don't necessarily give you the best customer service. After buying an expensive digital camera from them, then, soon after, an even more expensive, high-end lens, I was completely and repeatedly ignored by them when I wrote with a question. They had two opportunities to politely respond and simply ignored me. Everyone has products. We can sit on our behinds and order them. It's customer service that really makes for repeat business. read more

I ordered a Camera I've been waiting forever to buy and not only was the camera on sale for the same price as multiple locations but it came in a bundle with bag, card, uv lens protector, extra battery.. wait it gets better. I ordered it on the 4th of July and received it on the 6th. I will recommend to friends and family and definitely shop here again read more

I really enjoyed working with them. I ordered a microphone bundle through them via Walmart. When it came, the microphone was defective. Any email I sent them through the diagnosis process was answered in a few hours (very prompt) and they graciously handled my calls as I worked with both them and the original manufacturer to secure a replacement. They paid for shipping back to them, and rushed my replacement. It came today, and I am pleased to say the product works perfectly. Obviously, past reviews do not share my outlook, but I guess the company has listened well to them and have rectified customer service, for my exchange with them was pleasant and courteous. Thank you Focus Camera! I will recommend to others. read more

Yes I read the reviews before ordering. Something is odd when they are either 5 star or 1 star with nothing in between. I know from experience that some folks will never be satisfied regardless of the experience. After all its New York; you order a sandwich at Essa Bagel, you better have your order straight or you get yelled at. I ordered a Canon Powershot bundle and it was shipped promptly and packaged well. I did not get an email stating the shipment date but I can live with that. At their prices, I'm a fan. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Saw that they had a mini tripod on sale so I tried to order. Keep getting an error on their web site. Went on their chat section and someone named Ken said the error was because I was using a shipping address different from my billing address. Then he just closes the chat! I wrote two emails to the company explaining what happen and received no reply. I just bought a similar tripod from B&H so Focus, you lose. Never will try to buy anything from you again because of your non-existent customer service. read more

AVOID this company. I bought a 'certified refurbished' HP computer for a good price on their amazon page. I turned it on once, setup user and password, uninstalled the bloatware, and turned it off. I turned it back on a few days later and windows 10 wouldn't even boot. I couldn't even access the diagnostic windows repair pages without getting odd errors, and my manual attempts are running hardware and harddrive checks in the command prompt wouldn't work. I couldn't even enter safemode... essentially windows completely crapped out after running once. I contacted them about a replacement, and got a entirely generic "sorry for the inconvenience, here's a refund label" response. They made ZERO attempt at addressing the issues or trying to reconcile the situation, despite their empty promises of 'customer service'. It was my fault for not googling the company to see too many stories similar to mine. AVOID this company! AVOID! read more

I usually buy camera equipment online, This time I want to buy a pretty new model, Other vendor doesn't have in stock, I called focus Camera last week ,Lucky me, I reach Max, He gave me a lot of information, Also he gave me a good deal and free 2 days shipping, I bought one camera and two body! I will definitely buy from focus camera again, reach Max extension # 8916, you wouldn't regret! read more

They sent me a box with no Camera in it and now are saying they are not liable. I will most likely sue this company.

Terrible business. Terrible customer service. An all-around terrible experience. They lied about having expensive items in stock. They canceled orders without informing me, and then lied about not informing me. They blame everything in covid-19, which is complete B.S. They subscribed my email address to their mailing list without permission. Avoid this company. Total twits. You are better off going elsewhere. read more

Fast shipping. Great product and discounts

I ordered a keyboard from "Lifestyle by Focus," that is Focus Camera's Amazon storefront. When Amazon shipped the order from their warehouse, I only saw one part and contacted Amazon immediately - and they could not locate the rest of the order. They told me to contact the seller. I did, and connected with Customer Service Specialist Kevin G. at Focus. Kevin heard me out and got approval to replace the items that Amazon failed to ship. He advised on when they would arrive, and they arrived on time, without any further hassle. The fact that Kevin took the time, thought through the options and escalated for approval appropriately is what makes him a great Customer Service person. Good interaction with Focus. read more

the item is great but the package only included one airbag at one side and the other side has a large empty space, which made me worried about if the item experienced violent transportation. read more

It was great working out my situation with Joyce! She is very helpful. Thank you so much.

FOCUS CAMERA is a SCAM OPERATION. Ordered camera related product and they charged my account but did not send the item. I received a FedEx tracking number and two updates indicating the item was shipped and left carrier, another it was in transit and would be delivered on May 4, 2019. The item was never shipped so the FedEx tracking was fabricated. They then revised deliver for a week later on what was an Amazon Prime sponsored sale. I had Amazon intervein to correct the bogus charge on my account. Stay Away from Focus Camera. read more

My worst online shopping experience so far. I have ordered Epson printer with the next day delivery. Not only it didn't come next day - it never came. Focus camera People claimed that it got lost with UPS and didn't want to reship the printer before UPS will "find" it. After two weeks of waiting UPS called and told that Focus camera actually never shipped the printer.... What a waste of time... read more

Tried to checkout with 2 different cards, both declined without any reason but my card has been charged, got an email from customer service that I need to call verification department with a specific ext. I called in and talked to a guy named Nat Ehrenreich, he talked to me like I am making a big mistake and asking him for help, he keep saying my cards were declined without any help or explanation, then he say bye and hang up on me in the middle of the conversation, bad customer service, at least on the phone. Not sure how they got Google trusted store logo on the website which was the main reason I trusted this website from the beginning. read more

I'm a teacher at a school. I ordered 10 cameras packaged with accessories including memory cards. By the time I got them (had to go through purchasing at the district office then to my school), used them, noticed the memory cards were defective, the one month return/exchange period had passed. I asked them to replace the memory cards but refused because it didn't fall within the 30 days. Really?! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will never do business with you again! read more

Ordered on focuscamera.com. Worst online shopping experience ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ONLINE STORE. 1. When I first placed the order on my phone, it reported some kind of "dead lock error". (Excuse me? How can you report you're in a dead lock if you're in a dead lock?) The second try was successful but I got two pending charges on my credit card, making me a little nervous but then I decided to wait until the charge gets posted. 2. I got an order confirmation email, saying I'll get another email when my order ships. 3. A few days later I realized the pending charges were gone and not showing up in posted transactions. I went to check on focuscamera.com to check my orders and the order history was missing. 4. I tried to contact customer service to see if the order was canceled on their end. Live chat had no response; email got auto-replied saying the business hours was 9am-6pm; phone call said they were closed and the hours was 9am-6pm, when it was only 5pm eastern time. 5. I decided to purchase from somewhere else. Got in contact with the customer service online chat the next day to cancel the order, and they said they would not cancel the order because it was already shipped. Recalling the order from UPS will incur a charge on me. By the way the order was shipped two days ago and I never got any notification. Also the customer service person was slow, impatient and not helpful in my situation. read more

Not a good experience at all. Bad customer support and poor communication which takes forever.
