My husband and I are looking for toddler friendly activities to do on the weekends Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park did not disappoint. I purchased the passes, socks, and read/signed the waiver for each jumper prior to arrival we got checked in very quickly. I recommend doing this because when we arrived there was a cluster of people waiting at the entrance to read/sign waiver, purchase passes and socks. Although very busy my toddlers had a wonderful time. I've been to several trampoline parks in varying cities, FS was well thought out to accommodate everyone of any age. I was very appreciative of the numerous seating areas located throughout the park I was able to sit away from the primary play area. We will definitely return, and highly recommend!

I've taken my son to every trampoline park from Everett to Tacoma. This one is one of the better ones. They have the trampolines, but also have a inflatables area, and a play ground area with a slide. Then there is rock climbing too. A lot of other places I have been to don't have such a variety of things to do. Not to mention the arcade. My son is almost 3 and while he may not be able to do the rock climbing, there is enough for him to do for a good time. You just have to follow him around. I started early with him taking him to trampoline parks and funtastic playtorium when he was just over 2 years old. These places including Flying Squirrel are great for developing their motor skills and coordination. I would say this trampoline park does the best job at having a little bit of everything for a wide age range. Hopefully they finish the miniature golf course soon.

It's okay. It seems overcrowded and understaffed, but the play part is a good deal for the price. I am also concerned about security because I do not think they do a good job at all of keeping kids from going out the door--this could lead to a terrible situation, and they really need to fix this. They make bank on the play area. It's a casino for kids. Stay away. Just don't let your kids play there, or you will spend a HUGE amount of money. My biggest complaint is NOT ENOUGH STAFF. My second biggest complaint is MOST OF THE STAFF DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE. They roam around and mostly ignore people seeking help. Oh, and the restrooms are HORRIBLE. They need to be cleaned much more often.

Mini mini golf. Seemed pretty empty most of the time I was there, but it looked cool.

This place is chaotic fun. The trampolines are obviously the main attraction - the floor is covered with trampolines and you jump around on them. There are some places where you can get some height and jump down... or jump up/off of an inclined trampoline. There's an area to play basketball on a trampolene and another where you can battle someone with a large padded staff and fall into a foam pit. It's a lot. The other few sections are: a huge inflatable bouncey castle thing with slides, a mini golf course, a mcdonalds-style climbing thing (for younger kids), and an arcade. There are also a couple of transparent glass rooms for birthday parties. Anyway, when you come in for the first time, you have to fill out some release of liability forms on the computer... you buy some socks (which you can reuse for future visits), and pay for however many hours you want to jump around. They give you a wristband and you're off. Our kids just went back and forth between the climbing gym, trampolines, and bouncey castle - and were perfectly content with that. We spent 2 hours there, I think - and by the end, they were pooped. Price was $29 per kid (2 hours).

Fun place to take the kids so they can get their energy out. We went during the late afternoon (4-6 p.m.) and it wasn't very busy.

The first time was in Montana while I was conducting geology field work, the snakes that time were rattlesnakes. This time I encountered two garter snakes here at Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary while hiking the Perimeter Trail (South portion of the trail). The first one I heard surprised me because it was right next to the trail. The second one was making noise while traveling through brush on the side of the trail as well. That cutie I managed to get a picture of. The edge of the water in the sanctuary is full of cattails in a number of places. At one woody portion of trail I noticed a gnarly tree by the water and decided to venture closer to check it out. I noticed a Hummingbird high in the tree by some cattails. Just this morning back at the house the hummingbirds were collecting the stuffing from cattails to use for nesting material, fun to encounter another hard working hummingbird the same day in a wetland setting. I made my way closer to the water to get a better look and heard a critter flop into the water, twas a big amphibian I managed to miss with my camera. Song birds sang and water fowl called throughout the duration of my visit here today in the mid-afternoon. A carved wooden sign is located at the driving entrance/exit to the park and is artistically well done, evoking a sense of magic that I have found to accompany wetland and heathland biomes. The parking lot is small to medium in size, but there were a number of open spots so it wasn't a problem on my visit. Next to the parking lot is a restroom building that was closed today, I'm guessing due to COVID-19, a grassy picnic area, a map of the trail system, and some signage with information about the sanctuary. There are two main trails through the sanctuary: the Interpretive Trail which includes interpretive signs, and the Perimeter Trail which goes around the perimeter of the sanctuary. I hiked/walked the southern portion of both of these trails and found them both to be very well maintained. Garbage cans were located along the trail, which was convenient. Elevation gain was not immense, but it was also not completely flat. I encountered a number of soloists and groups out walking/adventuring while I was here this afternoon. By the time I left at about 3 p.m. traffic started picking up. Overall a fun experience and place to explore.

A friend recently found it on the all trails app when were seeking out a place for an easyish hike/walk. I was amazed to find this located so close to Boeing, but should probably have realized there is a lot of nature in this area. There is a small parking lot, a big sign marking the entrance and maps/informational plaques to help guide you a long. The inner loop is mostly boardwalk and goes thru a cool rock type structure. Benches were placed intermittently. The outer loop is slightly harder to locate and navigate and does incorporate part of the sidewalk. The combination of both loops is less than 2 miles and takes about 35 minutes. This seems like a great location for a break in nature during your work day. I hope to make it back here again in the future.

Everett Park & Recreation - It's a strong design, well thought out despite being mid-sized for a public skate park.

We reserved the Floral Hall for a Sunday. Five hours for $645 + $200 refundable deposit. During October the rates are $129 an hour. Credit cards are accepted. Parking can be limited depending on the time of the year. Floral Hall is easily accessed for anybody who is handicapped. An electronic key is provided to access the hall on the scheduled day. The key pass is timed to allow guests in 5 minutes prior to their rental time. Key passes can be dropped in the drop box at the Recreation Office on the way out. A $30 fee is charged if the key is lost. Deposits are supposed to be returned/credited on Tuesday's; however, it took two weeks and several phone calls to get our $200 deposit credited back. Annoying. Cleaning packages are available for purchase for $269 or you can clean the hall on your own. Cleaning supplies are provided by the Parks department. Alcoholic beverages are permitted with a "Banquet Permit" and can be purchased through the WA Liquor Control Board: http://lcb.wa.gov/licensing/banquet-permits. Allow 2 weeks to get this permit. Tables, chairs, full kitchen and projection screen are available. Decorations, food/drink and sound system need to be brought from home. Helium balloons are not allowed. Candles/open flames are not allowed. Smoke machines are not allowed. Staff members were unfriendly and uncaring. Staff members were also uneducated as to where sound systems can be rented. One would think that the Parks Department would have a list of suggestions to provide since a projection screen is offered. If a sound system is needed, i suggest using http://thelightingstore.com/.

The street section has a 40ft long mini spine that's two feet tall, a solid quarter, some sub boxes, hips and a corner pocket. The center of the park has some slant boxes with rails and a nuts tranny wall that got some super tight tyranny on it. The centerpiece of the park is definitely the channel leading to the bowl. It's got hips in every direction on both sides, closing into a spine that's got a 3-4ft gap on top. Definitely feels like trails when you blast into it from the park side. Combination of coping and noping throughout the park. As it stands, pegs are permitted and since no signs are posted helmets seem to be optional.

The review is for the Blanca Lake trail in the Amazingly Beautiful Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National…read moreForest, which has many beautiful trails to explore, which I'm just getting started on. Lol This one is an adventure in itself just getting to, literally of the beaten path, even with its popularity. You will be in the heart of the Cascades after the drive and hike. The last six miles of road is gravel, so it's a slow but scenic drive, after sone of the breathtaking views of the mountains driving up highway 2, which leads over Stevens Pass, almost there, but not quite. Just like the drive, the trail is a rock and root trail, so with both, don't hurry, enjoy the moments, stop and take in the views, forest, nature, and quietness. This is a highly moderate to hard hike, come prepared... plenty of water ( not a single plastic bottle) lots of water, snacks or lunch to enjoy along the trail, while enjoying the beautiful lake views, and to stayed fueled on the way back. Like many of summer hikes I've experienced, watching people not prepared, exhausted and dehydrated, sad days!! A little prep makes for a enjoyable memorable day, not life threatening... seriously! The first four miles are a fairly long cross cross ascent, once you get to the ridge, more amazing views can be seen, till then, you get peek a boo views of the mountains. Once you get to Virgin Lake, you'll start the descent to Blanca Lake, you can hear the waterfalls from the lake, pretty much down to it. Around the lake there was still good size areas of snow melting in the shaded areas. Great views of Columbia peak and glacier (which feeds into the lake) along with many more amazing peaks to views in this glacier valley. The water color is so beautiful!! Getting its color from the glacier water source. I was grateful for the reviews from fellow yelpers and AllTrails, for the recommendations of taking sandals and clothes to swim in, I wore very light hiking clothes which dry fast, and the shoes are helpful for sharp rocks and slippery logs. Yes, even more grateful after watching many falling over the very slippery logs, painful to watch. The waters was amazing! Not as cold as you would expect coming off the glacier, but it was refreshing after a long hike on a very warm day. So worth bringing extra gear. After enjoying a quick lunch with all the amazing views, it was time for the hike back up, and yes, it's a hike up, remember that when you're going DOWN to the lake, it's going to be uphill all the way past Virgin Lake to the ridge. I recommend hiking poles, even if you don't feel they're necessary for the hike up, they definitely make the descent over rocks and roots easier to negotiate. Definitely a hike not to rush, stop and breathe, enjoy the views. This time up I had a fun encounter with the pair of squirrels, letting myself and a few other hikers that stopped to enjoy the spectacle of the squirrels (as. I had to explain) letting us know to stay away from their tree, with squeaks and hand tapping, pretty sure they had young ones up further in the tree. Just another fun part of the adventure in nature. I definitely recommend starting early as this will be a all day adventure, due to the travel and hiking time. Also note, due to a major washout, you will be parking on the side of the road as the washout adds another mile to the trail, the real parking lot is on the other side of the boulder and rock field. It's also a popular hike, so more than likely, especially on the weekends, there will be more people. After the hike, it's a good things Monroe is not far away for some good food and brews( Which it has many options of) I definitely recommend this one, well worth the hard hike, for the amazing lake and views of so many peaks. Not to mention getting to witness a glacier. Come prepared, please! Happy Hiking! God bless and multiple Cheers!

With the Greenwater River, fishing is plenty and you can't beat the scenery. The salmon run goes through here, and it's fun to watch. There are also lakes and gorgeous meadows, along with glacier capped mountains. There are multiple campsites to rent. In the warmer months, I've seen them full to capacity and in the spring/fall, I've seen a lot of space so check them out. Since it's a national forest, you're allowed to camp wherever you want to. There are countless places that are excellent spots to camp near the river or deep in the woods. Even in the summer when there have been tons of people at the campsites, driving just 2 minutes down the road made me feel like I was the only person in the world. It is so peaceful there. If you take the entrance going through Marysville then Granite Falls to the Mountain Loop Highway, you'll come across various B&B's on the way and fruit stands. You'll also see at the entrance a great log memorial to the wood there (see photo). I've seen owls, foxes, eagles, deer, and countless kinds of fish. A forest ranger stopped to check on me once when I was having a campfire with friends. He wanted to make sure we were OK and that our campfire was under control. He was kind and really cared about the woods and us. Go visit this natural beauty. It's incredible.
