I'm sitting here at the park hoping my little girl will sleep a bit longer so mama can enjoy her "day off." This is my first time here and it checks off so many boxes for me as a mama of little kids. Even though it's located close to a busy street, it's quite serene here. The playground areas have enough for small and bigger kids to burn off energy. There's a climbing wall, a little zipline, slides and swings. There is a small paved path around the playground areas, which as a stroller user is nice. I took a stroll down towards the water, and it was nice and peaceful, even though it's right underneath 68th/Juanita Dr. There is a small covered picnic area and a couple of BBQs. There are bathrooms with a changing table(!) and the bathroom seems to be well kept. I'm not sure of dogs are allowed, but there is so much grassy area to run around, have a picnic in, or toss a ball around. This place is kind of an introverted mom's dream park. And TBH, I am not a botanist. So, I can't tell you how many rhododendrons there are, but there are certainly a lot of flowers in bloom. My allergies know this. read more

Great little park with a basketball court playground and shelter for events. I was here to attend a birthday on a warm summer day and it was very nice. There's a decent sized parking lot for this park and its off the busy road so you don't have to worry too much about runaway toddlers and kids. read more

Play Area = **** Parking = *** SPF = *** We visited this park while the Rhododendrons were in bloom. What a beautiful exceptionally well groomed park. Park has play structures, a covered picnic area, a large grass field and a basket ball court. And probably more that I couldn't see from the play area. Play Area (4 stars) Very nice fun looking play areas. There is a Big Kid play structure and a little kid structure, with swings in the middle. The structures are ringed by a paved walking are that makes sort of a figure 8. There were a number of kids riding little bikes and scooters around the 'track'. Parking (3 Stars) The lot is nice and easy to get to. At peak times, it's likely to fill up fast. SPF (3 Stars) We went midday. The kids found the slides a little too hot and there was no real cover from the sun around the "Little Kid" area. However, even in the middle the day there were shady benches by the "Big Kid" area. Going a earlier or later in the day should provide more shade options. Of course there is plenty of grass for sunning. read more

This is a really nice park. The parking lot is a little tricky to find if you don't know where it is, because it also houses the senior center and there is a lot of greenery that hides it from the road. It has 2 different play areas, one for tots to age 5 and the other for older kids. Lots of climbing, swinging, sliding fun for all kids. There's a large green space, a basketball court, and a large covered area with a grill for fun gatherings. The bathrooms are kept clean. Overall, it's a great community park. read more

A great little park..just across the street from where we live. Kids love it here..and so do the parents who take there kids here. Nice playground....sand area to dig stuff up....good size grassy are to waste the day away... Doubt there will ever be a yelp event here..because kids love this place. read more

This is a very nice park to enjoy a small picnic and take a nice stroll after. If you have small children, this is a good place to take them and let them run around and tire themselves out on the equipment. I imagine it would be nicer if you wait until the Rhododendron's are all blooming, but overall we had a good time. read more

Beautiful, clean, and perfect for kids playdate. Had only heard about it through the years. Grounds are kept lovely, climbing toys in excellent condition, clean and well-kept bathrooms. Trails to walk, go to waters edge, skip a rock or two. Nothing missing! read more

Very nice private park. Plenty of parking, shaded areas w benches to sit on, grassy area, and is right next the basketball court. My 2 yo really likes the slides and play structures. Seems like a great park for parties too. Love it here... Thanks for the find yelp! read more

Rhododendron Park - Playgrounds Near Me - Kenmore, Washington

Loved this park. It's great for kids with a wonderful play area. There are many large amazing varieties of flowers and nicely cut lawn. The park is no huge but big enough for groups up to 50+ The mosquitoes come out at night so bring some strong repellent. Parking is small but should be able to fit carpooling groups. read more

This park includes wide open spaces to play catch, a beautiful trail along water, and great playground equipment. Plus, there are restrooms on site. Construction was nearly complete on the tail enhancement last time I visited. A tranquil spot to play, not far from the shopping and eateries on Bothell Way. read more

A very calm and serene place to take your children, the play structures are quite decent , i had kids ranging from 12 to a one year old and they all had fun. But i dont think there were any hikes from the park like st edwards. Definitely worth a try and worth going to again. read more

Two great new play areas. One for bigger kids to climb, swing and slide. Another smaller one for toddlers to run around and enjoy. The restroom building is also fairly new and fully accessible. There's also a covered picnic area and a HUGE grass field surrounded by nice landscaping. It's a convenient location but far enough off the main roads to feel quiet and peaceful. Before you know it, the rhodies will all be in bloom and that is when this park goes from very nice to spectacular. I was a little sad when they replaced the old picnic area with the fireplace with a modern set-up, but still go on a regular basis. Play basketball, throw a ball or frisbee on the grass, have a picnic, play with the kids in the playground or just walk around and enjoy Kenmore's almost hidden little jewel. read more

Park was clean and well kept, including bathrooms. My 2yo enjoyed both of the play structures and the winding walk ways in a small wooded area. We will definitely be returning. Met some very nice moms there as well. read more

Great little park with nice two playgrounds for both younger kids and older kids. Nice big grassy area, although I would say not enough shades if you wanna lie down for a nap! Other than that it's a great place to take kids and spend a whole afternoon on the playgrounds, walk around for a small exploration or a simple picnic or a small outdoor potluck party! Playgrounds are excellent condition and pretty interesting especially the one for bigger kids! And being the sand toys! read more
