We really enjoyed coming here. This park has a playground and kids really enjoy it. There are paved trails nearby and along the Sammamish River. You can also get access to other 2 Parks like the Sammamish River Park through those trails. But the most awesome part was the frisbee course. It is not like other open frisbee golf courses. Trees and plants get in-between you and the basket. But you feel around nature. It gets muddy so be prepared. There's a map at the parking lot but you must pay attention when is the throwing spot. It also has some recommendations on how you should throw the frisbee. Let other parties go through if you are a beginner. That way you won't feel pressure from coming parties ;) read more

Discovered this park while visiting a friend by the Bothell Senior living condominium. Very nice and quiet place for a short walk, or a long stretch from Burke Gilman trail all the way to Seattle. It's a gem in my opinion. Haha... Anyway, prepare a great pair of running shoes is necessary. And as always, watch out for the bicyclists behind. read more

This park is kind of hidden in the middle of nowhere up a quiet hill, but it is worth the trip. The park is big, with loads of empty space. There is also a neat playground for kids, as well as plenty of trees for shade if you desire (and places with no trees if you don't). As a bonus, at the edge of the park is a neat view of the river. There is a pretty good amount of parking here as well, which is nice! read more

Blyth Park is the largest park in Bothell at just over 40 acres and runs along the Sammamish River. With two picnic shelters available to rent and reserve through the city including BBQ's, this park is popular for parties and family gatherings. With the Sammamish River Trail going through the park, it's a hot spot for bikers, walkers and dog owners. There's a good sized playground for kids, and they have a volleyball court as well. Free parking and a lot of it. read more

Play Area = *** Parking = *** SPF = **** Play Area (3 stars) Play area is nice but showing it's age. Despite it's lack of spit and shine, it's very sturdy and playable. Good number of slides and Big Swings, plus a Mountain of Tires to climb on. Lots of room to run and play and I even saw a nearby volley ball court. Beware smells of yummy yummy barbecuing. Great place for a BBQ or Picnic with a sizable covered area. This play structure may lack some thrills for the older kids, but is well suited for 2 to 5 year olds. Parking (3 Stars) A good sized parking available. However I didn't spot an overflow lot, so come early to claim your spot at peak summer times. Nice play structure, 6 swings, raised sand play area, plenty of seating, picnic benches and shelters. Biking path close by to the river. Not an enormous amount to keep my 8yo entertained, best suited to toddlers and younger kids. We'll probably be back to walk the trails or bike. read more

I grew up in this park, literally. I learned to skateboard here. I learned to ride a bike here and on the connection to the Burke-Gilman Trail. I got my very first bee sting here. I've been to and thrown countless birthday parties here. And I nearly killed myself countless times on the long replaced bars doing penny drops and the long gone "monster metal slide". I still go here quite often. The park has changed over the years, but not enough that you could leave for a decade and come back and know just where you were. Parking can be a challenge, but it's connection via the trail to Bothell Landing means there are gravel lots and the Landing parking to choose from. Covered picnic areas, huge open spaces, hiking trails up into the greenbelt areas, 2 "big toys", swings, volleyball net... If you haven't been, you should go more often. read more

I went to Blythe Park every weekend when I was a kid. Don't mess with my childhood. This place is awesome, and has been taken care of very well. As the park shows signs of wear they're re-painted, and new play items are put up to slowly replace and maintain the structure without removing the kids' favorite toys. Additionally, kids and adults can run, jump, or roll down the steep hill towards the water, where ducks poop and people get messy. Then they can all climb to the top, so the adults can drink a beer while the kids run until they pass out from exhaustian. Ah, those were the days. read more

This is a really great park for get togethers. The only set back is the parking lot is kind of small. However, the grounds stretch forever!! There is a good sized playground for kids, including a killer swing set, hiking trails, a covered BBQ area and access to the Sammamish River. read more

I only go to Blyth Park for one thing... disc golf! Yah! I really enjoy this course despite it's wet muddy personality. There are lots of trees, narrow fairways and neat approaches so it keeps me interested. True it would be nice if it weren't so smooshy but that just seems to be a problem no matter where you go on this side of the mountains. The only thing I don't like are the shady disc golfers that throw through you and dump their beer cans everywhere... seriously have some respect people. read more

If you like kids, or have some procreations of your own, you'll all love Blythe. It has toys and tunnels and hills and swingsets for the little ones, and picnic chairs, sunny grass, and great places to hide kegs for the "big kids." read more

Disappointed today to find the playground at the park under complete reconstruction so nowhere for my two year old to play. The equipment that was there seemed in good shape and we enjoyed that it was geared to little ones... Not sure when it will reopen either..... read more

This park is great for toddlers. My son really enjoys the tire hill area. This is a great place to go for a jog, run or walk as the trail loop connects to bothell landing. read more

The park is tuck in a quiet neighborhood. It's very conveniently connected to the BG trial. I will go there again.

This used to be my favorite park as a little kid. Right on the Burke Gil and there isn't a child in the world that doesn't love that tire mountain. A lot of good memories here playing as a young one. read more

Another cool park right off the Burke Gilman trail. The playground structures are well worn but still usable and fun! The huge mountain made out of tires are a blast for kiddos of all ages! When it's snack time, we spread out a blanket and enjoy our meals while watching the disc golfers, and have a fun relaxing day. read more

Combine this with Bothell Landing and you've got more than enough room to do whatever you want. Go on a picnic, play some football, catch a Frisbee, or just go for a walk. Every part of Blythe is enjoyable and there are plenty of areas to explore. Great for every age. Check it out .The only disappointment you could have is if you don't want it to rain... you can blame Washington for that. =) read more

I took my toddler here for the first time this week and she had a great time. There's new playground equipment with plenty of activities for children of all ages. In addition, the trees and grassy areas kept her entertained. We were even lucky enough to see deer moving through the park. We're very happy to have discovered this park. read more

awesome park for my two toddlers! i do not have to be right under them the entire time they are playing on the equipment, a lot of the items are toddler and preschooler sized. nice covered area for barbecuing, swings, lots of open grassy area, trails, etc. we love playing here! read more
