I rented the picnic shelter for the day for a birthday party and it was only $40. That is much cheaper than other parks in the area. The picnic tables are a little worn but it's a nice size area. And the picnic shelter is right next to the bathroom and play area. It's in a really convenient spot. I was a little worried about traffic sounds. You can hear if a car is noisy but you don't really hear just the normal traffic. It is a nice, pleasant area.

There are only 10 fire pits, so arrive before breakfast if you want one! This place is popular with dog owners, but is not an off leash area. The old lighthouse is here and a fun spot to see and take photos. Plenty of grass and picnic tables on parking lot side if you need more space. There is a Diamond Knot Brewery and Restaurant that is walking distance. They have a great to go window for quick food pick ups.
