Such an amazing spot to spend time outdoors. One thing to keep in mind--if you're planning to walk…read morealong the beach, definitely check the tide beforehand. When the tide is high, a large part of the beach gets covered, and you'll miss out on the best walking areas. Aside from that, it's a great place for a picnic or just hanging out with friends. There's plenty of open space for volleyball, frisbee, or whatever games you want to bring. Beautiful scenery and a relaxing vibe all around--definitely worth a visit!

I was searching for somewhere to take my dogs for a walk and found this park through Yelp. It's…read moresuch a great spot to enjoy lunch and a view. The park itself is pretty big, a nice large lawn with picnic tables and plenty of space to set up a picnic on the grass. Most people seemed to be enjoying lunch in their car or on the grass or next to their cars. A few folks set up their lawn chairs and enjoyed the sunshine but point is, theres a lot space to enjoy the park however you want, it's pretty great! As for dog walking it wasn't a large area for dogs to roam around, dogs must stay on leash or you risk a fine according to the signs there, but it's still a nice area to bring your dog to while you enjoy the view. I had seen pictures of dogs in the water so I knew there had to be a trail somewhere. The lawn has a few levels to it and a lot of grassy spots areas to hang out in between the bushes and off to the left we found a dirt road. The signage was spray painted so you cant read it and the path looks pretty used so we went down it and came to the traintracks. We crossed those and found the beach where further down we saw some other people. Our dogs loved it, they got to enjoy the sunshine, roam on the grass, walk around and swim! We definitely plan on coming back just to enjoy coffee and a view, or have a nice lunch date, watch the sunset, theres quite a few fun possibilities here!

A diamond in the rough that we stumbled on by accident. Plan to spend more time there exploring…read morethe trails.

These are some nice trails to roll your mountain bike on. I hopped onto the singletrack trail and…read moredang: It was a doozie within seconds. The skinny trail almost immediately points upward. In fact, there were quite a few times, where I just had to pull my feet out of the pedals & walk a little. Overall, I probably had to walk about 10 times going uphill. But---once you turn around. The roller coaster is on! I'm a bit of a fraidy cat, but I barreled down the trail pretty fast. I'm not a veteran of singletrack, so I had to really look out for roots, big rocks, holes, etc.---cuz I didn't want to eat it. So it took about 20min up this trail and about 5min down. It was a workout and hella fun downhill. There are a few ladder bridges and other types of bridges on the single track trail. If you want some serious dirt, give these trails a try. I also took the road/bigger trail which is at the very bottom of the gulch/valley. This is more of a road, and it's fairly straight and it goes up from the trailhead (paralleling the train tracks). So, there is talk of selling off this land for development. That would be a total shame Check out the website for this area and get the lowdown on this trail system's future. Hopefully Mukilteo will by this area and keep it as a cool place to hike and ride.
