This park is a nice stroll to take in a nice afternoon or evening. Parts of the trail is next to the road, so it's not super scenic or quiet, but when it is, it's a nice walk. There are parks if the park for kids to play around in the playground or for people to sit in the benches and enjoy the river. There are ducks around too, but please don't feed them either.

A fun park for kids with beautiful trails nearby. The river is also next to this park! You can sit and enjoy the river, the kids can play on the playground or you can tire the kids out on the trails! You may see ducks, squirrels, birds, rabbits and other animals here.

I enjoy coming to this little park to let my dog walk on nice patches of soft green grass. Only bad part about this park is that there's tons of duck and geese so TBH that also means tons of bird poo. However, one cool aspect of the park is that there's a rental place for kayaks and paddle boards that's directly off the entry point into the water. The park seems very well maintained since it's completely free of trash and is very clean (minus all the bird poo). The little village and bridge are very pretty with a background of large trees especially the large willow next to the water. I regularly see photos taken here for engagement, prom, and even weddings. I'd say that it's definitely scenic enough. In case you want to take photos here just remember it is a public park so there may be kids running behind your shot or bikers/runners headed to trail across the bridge.

This park is excellent! The only thing it is missing is a great off leash Dog Park! There is ample parking, great picnic locations and a new playground! The best part about this park for me is the easy accessibility to the Burke-Gilman trail. It is located at the 9.5 mile marker for those wondering.....Also at the end of June before the Fourth of July they do many early American history booths and a reenactment on the Fourth.....

I really like the trail here. It's great for long walks. Too many bikes though that zip by too quickly though.

Woodin Creek Park - Path from Woodin Creek Park to the Sammamish River Trail

Woodin Creek Park

Woodin Creek Park leads to the Sammamish River Trail. There are only 5 parking spots, and all 5 of them were full when Ryan and I arrived at this park, so we parked near the sports field and walked over to this park. I had been wanting to check out this park because I play basketball occasionally with friends and I have been searching for an infrequently-used outdoor basketball court that we can play on when the weather gets a bit warmer. Last year, when I was healthy enough to do it, I played basketball at home (but with the way that my back yard is structured as well as the only reasonable place to put the basketball hoop, the surroundings are less than ideal for retrieving a runaway ball), and I also played on the basketball court at Rhododendron Park in Kenmore, but the scent of heavy traffic at that other park was kind of off-putting to me as I am sensitive to smells and wanted a court where the air smelled like trees instead of heavy exhaust. This basketball court at this park smells nice - nature smells mostly - and it is mostly surrounded by a wide flat grassy meadow, making it easy to retrieve the basketball if it rolls away. I think I have found a better place to play basketball with my friends this year! As mentioned in the other review, there is also one tennis court at this park. No one was playing basketball or tennis when we visited. There isn't much for kids to do here, unless they play basketball or tennis, or some other sport where a medium-sized grassy meadow would be useful (soccer? badminton?), but that's fine by me, just thought I would note it for people who enjoy taking their kids to the park. No swings, play center, slides, things like that. Ryan and I enjoyed our visit to this park.

Small, open green space, a well maintained tennis court, and a path leading to the river trail…read more Small parking lot.
