There are many unique elements to this park that not many other parks have. In addition to an outdoor amphitheater, a river peacefully flowing underneath a very creaky bridge, a white gazebo, a beautiful circular area honoring veterans and military men and women, and many walking paths, this park is also home to the Bothell Historical Museum (which is closed for the year until April) and an amazing authentic cabin that was built by a married couple in the 1880s! The playground at this park is very small, and on the evening that my husband and I visited (yesterday), there was a ratio of about 15 adults to every 1 kid that we saw at this park. My husband and I enjoyed looking at the river together while standing near the middle of the bridge. It felt romantic, until our quiet reverie was loudly interrupted by the cawing of hundreds of birds overhead, flying directly above us, heading back up north for the spring. I wish I knew what type of birds they were. They were flying so high up in the air that visually they appeared as blackish specks in the sky, although auditorially their concert of squawks seemed like it was being blasted through loudspeakers! A wonderful sight, though - I momentarily felt almost as though I was living inside a nature documentary dvd. My husband and I also spotted a single heron, gracefully and noiselessly flying low above the river. It was a majestic sight. A unique and rewarding park experience. I would definitely return. read more

This park is a nice stroll to take in a nice afternoon or evening. Parts of the trail is next to the road, so it's not super scenic or quiet, but when it is, it's a nice walk. There are parks if the park for kids to play around in the playground or for people to sit in the benches and enjoy the river. There are ducks around too, but please don't feed them either. read more

I love this park. My kids love this park.... The one thing I don't love about this park is that so many people love this park!!! Long list of amenities: Playground Kayak/SUP rental and launch Access to trails for walking/biking Amphitheater Pop up dog park Pop up story walks And a few other buildings that I am not familiar with Parking tends to be plentiful as there is a large overflow lot. What a great park! Bothell Landing includes a playground, historic site, restrooms, riverfront, trails, and more! We've enjoyed taking family photos here, taking babies on their first stroller rides, and canoeing through Bothell and Kenmore to Lake Washington. Linking up to the Sammamish River Trail and the Burke-Gilman means you can enjoy just a nature walk, or visit four parks on the way to Lake Washington heading west. To the east, you can enjoy the vast wetland by the University of Washington Bothell and on to Woodinville and beyond! You can expect to see herons, ducks, a muskrat tricking you into believing it's a beaver, beautiful thick woods, and much more. It's a peaceful area that is well frequented, but not swamped and feels very safe. One of the best places in Bothell. read more

This park is pretty great and brings us to Bothell all the time. Its nearby downtown Bothell so its makes a great place to get some take out and go eat at. It's definitely gotten nicer in the years I have been coming here. I love that it is right on the river and a highly used trail. I enjoy looking at the wildlife and eating berries as I go along. We usually use it as either a starting or stopping point for either a bike, canoe or walking excursion. I do see people fishing from time to time as well. On my most recent visit I was excited to see you can now rent kayaks, and other watercraft from this location. It is a bit of a challenge to get your own watercraft from the parking lot to the docking area though. Parking does seem to be decreasing, but in case you are not in the know there is another lot close by on the other side of the river (beware this one has no bathroom). You can go quite far in both directions and is quite pretty on a nice day. We like to use this as a starting location and then go to the breweries along the trail in either direction. read more

I'm not a big Bothell fan, but I may have to re-evaluate that, after visiting this gorgeous park today. My kid needed some senior photos professionally done and she preferred an outdoor venue for the photo shoot, so we met the Yen Lui photographer here today. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with this park! There's a wooden pedestrian bridge. There's a gazebo. There's playground equipment. There's awesome trails for walking, running, biking and dog-walking, running alongside the slough river. There's a small amphitheater. There's lots of ducks and geese. There are picnic tables and a few small grills. There's a historic pioneer house, a log cabin and the cutest red one-room schoolhouse from the 1860s (it's so cute, it doesn't look real - but it IS). There's a small yoga studio. I really liked how there are mens and womens bathrooms there that are clean, functional and warm (what a delightful surprise, on all counts! lol). I loved seeing so many kids, families, couples and dog-walkers enjoying this park today, and I totally understood why this park was chosen by Yen Lui as an outdoor venue for picture shoots: it's incredibly picturesque. Between the trees and meandering pathways and quaint wooden bridge and white picket gazebo, there's a photo opportunity around every corner here. And I'm sure it's stunning in the fall, when the leaves turn colors, too. What a lovely park! Good job, Bothell. read more

I love the new park! The only con I have is the playground is more for kids 3+. My little boy is 2 and he had a hard time climbing up and down, so after 5 mins he wanted to leave. If they had another small structure play for the younger ones that would have been perfect. There's grass everywhere, on a nice day, can have a picnic on the grass. About 4-5 picnic tables all around, couple of them have bbq, not too much. And there's kayak and paddle boat rentals too, was closed today (probably open only in the summer time). I love that there's a little trail for you to walk around, and the park and trails is surrounded by the water. To me, any parks and trails that has water, (lake, river, ocean etc) is more serene and inviting. read more

I enjoy coming to this little park to let my dog walk on nice patches of soft green grass. Only bad part about this park is that there's tons of duck and geese so TBH that also means tons of bird poo. However, one cool aspect of the park is that there's a rental place for kayaks and paddle boards that's directly off the entry point into the water. The park seems very well maintained since it's completely free of trash and is very clean (minus all the bird poo). The little village and bridge are very pretty with a background of large trees especially the large willow next to the water. I regularly see photos taken here for engagement, prom, and even weddings. I'd say that it's definitely scenic enough. In case you want to take photos here just remember it is a public park so there may be kids running behind your shot or bikers/runners headed to trail across the bridge. read more

This park is quite hidden & you wouldn't really know it was there unless you've been here before or looked it up on Yelp :) I've been here before to feed the ducks (not sure if that's allowed or not, oops) Parking is a breeze, they have a parking lot that is never full any time I've been here. It's dog friendly as well. They have bathrooms there but I think it might be under construction because they had port-o-potties right outside the bathroom. They have a grassy area in case you want to play catch, they have a cute little gazebo too. They have a staging area near the bridge - I think for summer events that happen in Bothell. You can cross the bridge over the river to the trail where you can run, walk, walk your dog, and bike. Not sure where the trail leads but I did notice that it was the Sammamish River Trail. A cute park that you can go to without the hassle of finding a parking. read more

Lovely playground tucked away from the busy street. Plenty of mature trees surrounding the play structure to provide shade from the sun and create a serene environment as you kiddo plays on the swings or slides. There are 4 swings, 2 of which are bucket swings for the smaller kids, and a large play structure with 4 slides. Restrooms are on the perimeter and are spacious and clean. From the playground you can take paths either left or right to begin walking, running or cycling around the water. There are also kayak rentals available on the shore or you can bring your own and launch from that point. There is plenty of parking and room for little ones to run around, plus a large group of ducks that will easily entertain children if all ages. A lovely spot to have a picnic or some time to bask in the sun with birds chirping all around you. Early morning is my favorite time to visit. read more

This is my favorite park to walk...flat with plenty of shades. The only drawback are the cyclists who zip by you so be careful. Parking is usually not an issue. There are picnic tables, grassy areas, kid's play set, a bridge over a large stream, and even a museum. It connects with Blythe Park which has covered picnic tables that you can reserve for functions and more park amenities. read more

Paid gov't holiday and day one of "mid winter break" means only one thing: Get out of house and wear out the children...now! I grew up in this park and it's closeby hidden sister, Blythe Park. For it's location in downtown Bothell, this park offers you a whole lot. Walking trails, picnic areas, kiddie play lot, access to shops, eats, the B-G bike trail, open grass areas and ample spots of shade and sun in summer time. I don't know why for so long that I thought Bothell was sort of this middle of nowhere un-special place. I couldn't have been more wrong and I'll be spending the rest of my days correcting that error by raving about how cute Bothell is. This park is a perfect example of what Bothell is to me now, so this was a good lesson in not having an opinion about a place until you've really been there to see it for yourself. A friend of mine moved to Kenmore recently and on a gorgeous day we were looking for somewhere to get some exercise and sunshine. We headed to the Park at Bothell Landing and found ourselves right smack in the middle of all kinds of fun activities. The Landing is a great outdoor venue but there are walking trails, bike paths, people kayaking, canoeing and rafting down the river below, and so much more. There's a play area for kids, a little museum, a yoga studio. I was floored! And on a quieter day there is ample parking right at the Park so you don't have to leave your car a mile away. We walked a few miles to discover the area and can't wait to come back with bikes one day and kayaks the next. read more

I love the Bothell Landing. It is super quaint and pretty. Last year we had our engagement photos taken there and it turned out to be a wonderful backdrop to our photos. There is a really beautiful bridge and also a couple small historical buildings that really add to it's charm. Don't be surprised if you see chickens or ducks roaming around. Also, It is normally a pretty busy place as the Burke-Gilman Trail runs right through it. read more

Great focal point of downtown Bothell area with a small park along the water. This park is connected by a bridge to Sammamish trail. It's clean and well maintained. Great place for families, joggers/bikers, and dog walkers. Really enjoy going here with my dog for him to have access to soft green grass. There is also a playground and few buildings. At the far end, they are expanding the park, but on that side there's a water entry point with a small business that offers kayak rentals. This a very scenic and nice little escape. Recommend this to anyone. read more

This park is excellent! The only thing it is missing is a great off leash Dog Park! There is ample parking, great picnic locations and a new playground! The best part about this park for me is the easy accessibility to the Burke-Gilman trail. It is located at the 9.5 mile marker for those wondering.....Also at the end of June before the Fourth of July they do many early American history booths and a reenactment on the Fourth..... read more

Beware of the scary men walking around with 18 packs of beer. One guy tried to approach me and my mom's standard poodle wasn't having it, Herman growled at him and lounged once the guy got too close to us... the guy walked away (carrying his beer) screaming "fuckin' poodles!" and then flipped off Herman! I haven't been here since my dog Paco passed away, but when I use to go for jogs alone here with him, I definitely saw some drug deals go down. You'd be stupid to come up to a huge german shepherd, so no one directly bothered me but I was well aware of my surroundings and grew tired of the weirdos. As much as I hate to say it, I wouldn't come here alone and walk along the trail- really questionable activity going on. read more

One of my favorite local parks. It has a dream like feel to it no matter what time of year you visit or what the weather is like. It can get crowded on the paved trails and a bit dizzying with foot traffic, dogs and cyclists .. But there are plenty of spots to sit and take in the beauty. read more

I love this park. My kids love this park. It's so lovely to be able to cross the underground pedestrian walkway under Bothell Way and feel like you're not in town anymore. The water, the ducks (don't feed them!!), and the play structure are all great. I will agree with a past review that my 2.5 y/o has a bit of a hard time on the equipment, but that'll pass soon enough. Also! If you go to a concert here, bring sun protection (hats!) and be prepared to get a bit soggy. We saw Caspar Babypants play here. It was PACKED (wish everyone else had ditched their strollers too), and we found a small patch of grass to sit on. Obviously it had rained a day or two before because we were soaked thru and pretty muddy. Then the sun came out and we were baking in the heat. I was trying to use my t-shirt to cover my kid's head - which was very upsetting to him. Wish I'd been better prepared. read more

Cute park with trails and a bridge to explore. I loved walking through it and watching all the ducks glide beautifully on the water. There's a playground for children and many benches for you and someone to sit on. I went on my own little adventure towards sunset and enjoyed exploring this unknown park. We came back!! A fellow Yelper told me that there was a large gravel parking lot nearby (just down the curve) which was good to know! (Thank you, R!) The parking lot by the park was full. My dog and I took a walk down on the Sammarish River Trail. We did have one interesting incident. We ran into a rooster and a hen on the path...I assume they were wild/feral. My dog was very very very interested the birds. I am not sure where they came from..but they do not seem aggressive, so we moved on. We did enjoy our walk. There were garbage cans in various spots. Plenty of birds and small animals that would get your dog's attention on a nice day. I did appreciate the mile marker but I didn't see one after mile 10 and we walked pretty far... We will be back another day to go in the other direction :-) read more

Great positive exercise atmosphere wonderful network of trails.. As a every day runner, the harsh asphalt can be a bit rough to pound on, so I usually run on the adjacent rabbit path..when possible..it would be nice if the off asphalt path was better managed..but I still love the trail. read more

It's a great place to bring your little one! It has a pretty decent playground, but the charm is that its next to the Sammamish River Trail. This is a beautiful park with plenty of trails. The playground is next to the parking lot which is nice to stop at to let the kids play before exploring the rest of the park. There are several bridges and the river is really nice. I came to look for birds and saw a Heron on the opposite side of the bank of the river but not many others. The last time we went we saw bunnies galore which the kids enjoyed. We will be back. read more

This place is great for a day of fun! There is a kayak rental place in the park and it's right next to downtown Bothell with a ton of good places to eat and explore. This park is also right on the Burke Gil trail so if you want to use this as a bicycle park and ride it will work. read more

Pretty good park. Has some historic sites around the playground area. Next to a river that has a couple spanning bridges over it. A pretty nice walk for the family but on the downside bike traffic can sometimes be pretty heavy. Lots of older folks walking there lap dogs around and if you have a dog bigger than their Pomeranian guaranteed they are going to look at you like your the anti-Christ. Take a stroll on the North side of the river. It's has a lot less traffic and room to explore for the kiddies. Also that side has a wooden boardwalk detour in a marsh area that's pretty sweet. read more
