The park it well maintained, well lit and has excellent visibility for watching your kids run around. The problem is the transients and druggies. During our hour long picnic, we observed Marysville PD make contact with 2 separate groups of people at separate times. This is great on Marysville PD's part, but not so much for the park. It really makes it hard to enjoy the park with all the low lifes creeping around. Get rid of the methheads and my rating goes up.

While it's been a great opportunity for learning how to follow directions and take turns, both my husband and I didn't feel much of a welcoming environment. If you can start your kid early at 18 months or if you have a very calm toddler that likes to follow directions, this place would be perfect. Not the case for our son. All he wanted to do was run around in circles and climb on the equipment... Which is still perfectly developmentally normal for a 2 year old. The judgement both my husband and I felt was completely uncalled for and unnecessary and I will never be returning to this gym ever again.

We usually went midday during the week when it was quietest and then came a couple of times on the weekend as he got more comfortable when there were more people, kids, and other dogs around. The paths are nice for walking and there are some stairs to practice on as well. The park is well maintained and it seems like the people who do bring dogs here keep them on leash and pick up after them. This was extra nice during those puppy phases where everything on the ground ends up in their mouth. Everyone I've chatted with here has been really pleasant and I've never seen anything questionable happening or littered about which is nice. The larger fields in the back are great for letting your puppy run some energy out on a long lead too.

The woman who helped me seemed a bit frustrated about something, but she was still friendly, and overall the service and atmosphere were positive. Unfortunately, what happened next completely ruined the experience. About half of the lanes were empty, and there was maybe one child in the entire place--it was almost entirely adults. Another person in our group and I are clearly beginners. We noticed several bowling ramps (the kid assist slides) lined up off to the side and not being used at all. Since there were 4-5 of them sitting there unused, we figured it would be okay to borrow one. Before we could even line it up in our lane, an older man yelled from across the room, "NO!" Then he stomped over and yelled again, "Those are for kids," and grabbed the ramp out of our hands to put it back where it was. Sure, maybe we could have asked first. But it was sitting out in the open and not being used. Regardless, yelling across the room and storming over to paying customers is completely inappropriate and a huge overreaction. A calm, polite explanation would have accomplished the same thing. This would have been a place I'd come back to, but that man--whether he was an employee or the owner--completely ruined the experience.

I am really happy that Escapology came here as now there is something new to do when you end up meeting people at the mall. Plenty of easy parking, lots of places to eat nearby, you can also do some shopping, see a movie or play some video games. With another local escape room place closing recently, this may be the best local option. Its got many escape rooms to choose from, at some point I might do them all. Prices are high, but look for groupons and week day deals. Rooms are private for your group. Easy to book online. On a busy Saturday morning with not a ton of advanced planned we were able to make reservations for Batman. My 10 and 12 year old nephews seemed to enjoy it, but they are becoming escape room experts. The 12 year old had already been here and done another room. The youngest is already planning the escape room he wants to do next. We escaped with 1 minute and 11 seconds to spare. My brother complained the rooms were small and we would have struggled to fit the additional 2 people we considered bringing. The hints were provided on a computer screen so we were able to keep them up until we solved what we were working on. We used a lot of clues. One part did seem to have the answer already showing by overuse, but this was a bonus for us. Not overly dark, like some escape rooms. I really like the decor here, lobby included. Nice to have multiple bathrooms and a water fountain with cups in case you want to bring some water in with you. The escape room door is available to open at will in case you need to run to the bathroom. No lockers, but a basket to put a few items in the room if you don't want to hold them.
