If you haven't tried the new escape rooms at Alderwood Mall, it's a MUST! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! We walked in and were greeted immediately by three super nice, helpful employees. They explained all the rooms to us, from the easiest to the hardest. The lobby was awesome full of different clocks, fun wall art, games to play, and these cool, space shaped chairs. We picked the 7 Deadly Sins room. You get one hour to complete it and it's much harder than you think! There were four of us, and you really have to use everyone on your team. Write things down, divide tasks, and make sure everyone plays their part. We had the best time working together. It was difficult and challenging, but we made it out right down to the wire! This is an absolute must for a fun date (day or night), a work party, or any group event. I hope you have just as much fun as we did!

One of my favorite escape rooms! Very good production, brand new, clean, interactive! The course was challenging but the hints were easy but not enough to give it away. Friendly staff, I'd recommend and come back!

My friends and I love Escapology. The whole space is well-designed, and their steampunk theme is consistent throughout the space. We've done two rooms so far, Scooby-Doo and the 7 Deadly Sins, and we liked both of them. They have unlimited clues, which could be helpful for beginners. Their rooms are cohesive and well-made. They have a 50% off promo if you book your next room before leaving - which we gladly use every time. I highly recommend checking them out!

Loved our experience! We did the haunted mansion and barely escaped. Definitely want to come back and try the others!

This was my second escape room and it was amazing!…read more We arrived early and checked out The Basement where they had tons of cushioned seating, snacks and a selection of Regular and Adult Beverages. Canned but decently priced! When you arrive you can check in for the escape rooms in The Basement, arrive about 10-15 mins early so you can make sure your waiver is signed and you get the overview and rules of the room. We had a group of 5 and did the Who Dennis room! Being my second room I do not have a ton of experience but for the price compared to the last room was no comparison. Way better! The size, layering of puzzles, and help when we needed it was great. We had a fun time and at no point with 5 people did we run out of anything to have to do. We didn't solve the puzzle but was extremely close! We were even offered 20% off if we wanted to come back and try to solve again. I'm hooked and need to go back and try and solve it again. They also had 3 other rooms available, and if they were any sort of the quality of the Who dunnit I am sure they will be great!

The space is…read moreperfect for kids of different ages, there's a big playground area so no one felt cramped, and all the kids stayed entertained the entire time (which is a win in itself). The host was super helpful throughout checking in, helping set things up, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Food was good and convenient for a party setting, nothing over the top, but it did the job and the kids were happy. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a low-stress, fun birthday party venue where kids can run around. I do wish their party packages had extended hours. 2 hours didn't seem like enough.

I appreciate that the play structure is designed tall enough for parents to navigate as needed too, even on upper levels. There was also plenty of space for parents to hang out and watch. The party room was totally serviceable (we booked a 12-kid package with 7 kids and 12 adults, which meant some of the adults were standing (12 chairs), but it worked fine and it didn't feel crowded). I am glad we booked a larger party size than needed so some adults could sit! You are allowed in 30 minutes before your start time to decorate - and they leave blue painter's tape for you. I pre-staged one wall mural, two tablecloths, a banner, and some hanging decorations in a tub and that transformed the plain space quickly and perfectly for a kid's party. Food was better than I expected for a play zone cafeteria - pizza was included in the package, and we added a half-tray of chicken tenders (very popular), which came with fries, and a half-tray of fruit (which the kids loved and was fresh). Lemonade was tasty too. Had a whole pizza left over! The only outside food you can bring is a "celebratory dessert" - easy!! Our party host on the day of the party was sweet, accommodating, and low-key while also checking in the perfect amount. All other staff onsite were also welcoming and helpful. I can see how two hours could be tight for some folks, but they're very upfront about the expectations, and it was no big deal - I just kept an eye on the clock and moved things along. Booking was a little confusing on the website (a larger room size was incorrectly showing for the smaller party package), but their party coordinator got me fixed after I screwed up my reservation initially. Overall, this was a great party experience, and we'd do it again. Low-key, so much just handled for you... Thanks, Kaity and Ridge Staff!

It was such a blast-everything in the room is a prop and we even got to do lots of interactive magic with the wand. We did get stuck a few times, but our guide Elina was able to give us hints when we asked the sorting hat nicely. Next we went onto Wizards Chest, which was more difficult but really fun. A good mix of brain teasers and physical games/puzzles. Both rooms are decorated so beautifully and we felt like we were a part of the Harry Potter magic. Elina was so great! She gave us just the right amount of help and set us up for success in both rooms before leaving us to figure it out. We also had a great time doing debriefs with her and she took lovely photos of us. This is the perfect rainy day activity to spice up a date!

Pros: -our hostess, Grace, was friendly and helpful -got to use a wand -started right on time -our kid loved it and was able to figure some things out on his own Cons: -items in the escape room were breaking down, most likely from people trying to pry open things that weren't supposed to be opened -costumes for photo ops were all ripped and unusable -the hostess spoke so fast (because she has the same script several times a day) that we didn't understand anything. It's not new to her, but it was all new to us so we needed it said at a normal speed
