They have a fully painted parking lot, which is something I've never seen, bars preventing large vehicles from entering, and the architecture of the building itself is out there. It also looks from the outside that it's the largest Walgreens in history. However, when you walk in, it's exactly what you expect from a typical Walgreens, which isn't a bad thing.

I have only been almost squished about 3 times in the last 10 years. Not bad for Reno. CONVENIENCE: They are no longer open 24 Hours. The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.

When I stepped to the cashier, Rochelle, she patiently listened to my request and earnestly accommodated. These folks work hard to make sure you have all the medicine you need, through prescription foul-ups, insurance gaps and whatever else. Throw down those CVS shackles. Their workaround for this is to advise you to call your doctor and have your doctor fax over a new prescription for a medicine they do have. Now I don't know about your doctor, but my doctors aren't psychic and have no idea what meds CVS has in stock and ones that they don't Seem is a better method to rectify the situation would be to have CVS call the doctor, inform the doc that the meds they're prescribing are not available, and ask them what would they like to substitute, but that makes too much sense and relies on being customer focused. Somethings CVS has no clue about anymore.

My baby is crying. There's literally a box and tape right next to her. She's wanting me to buy a box but it's 4x the size of what I need plus I'd have to buy packing materials to do that. A kind vendor that overheard what happened offered me packing materials. There's not even a way to change the store to somewhere else so I have to ship here. I Walk to a store down the street who also doesn't sell the right size box. The computers are consistently down, and technical issues are a constant every time I come pick up…read moremy meds. A lot of the staff are super kind and especially some of the younger people are really attentive and willing to help, however every time I go in I see a higher up be incredibly rude to their own staff. I've seen so much as someone in a higher position yell at their employees for nothing and in front of costumers, or just generally giving really rude orders to their employees. If that's in front of customers I wonder how it is when no one's around. Hopefully they're paying their employees fairly for that kind of poor treatment.
