On Saturday evening, December 27, I needed help with getting an enlargement from a photo stored on my phone. There were various technical snafus. The woman behind the counter jumped through all kinds of hoops to facilitate my request. At the same time her back-up was at the register. When the photo enlargement was accepted by the photo system, I ws advised by the computer to return in 30 minutes to pick up the photo. By this time, the two women switched places. When the original woman assisted with a different purchase, I remarked that I would see her after I had some dinner. She queried why I didn't already have my photo, she expedited the processing. The woman formerly at the register rushed back to the photo department to facilitate the printing. I had my enlargement. Both women demonstrated exceptional customer service and knowledge of their jobs. Thank you. read more

Choose any other PHARMACY, but this Walgreens. It is so difficult to pick up a prescription here, I have the same prescription every month and every time I try to pick it up I even call ahead to make sure that it's ready. They tell me it's ready and I show up it's never ready, they always tell you to come back on top of them, messing it up every time they are incredibly rude and not apologetic at all. They closed for lunch early. They've got a close time from 130 to 2. I showed up 10 minutes before 130 and they already have their sign out of their closed for lunch. I've sat in line at 5:45 PM on a Saturday and because the car in front of me took so long I got up to the window at 6:01 and the guy close the drive-through and boarded it up right in front of me and didn't acknowledge me at all because they close at six. Picking up here is the most inconvenient place for even the easiest consistent prescriptions. Go anywhere else but here unless you don't have a job and you stay at home wife if you have time to drive to the pharmacy four times to pick up your prescription and enjoy being spoken to condescendingly every time you go. read more

I don't know what kind of circus Walgreens Pharmacy is running, but it's a complete disaster. Every single time I've had to deal with this place, it's been nothing but a mess of confusion, delays, and incompetence. It's like the entire staff got trained by watching YouTube clips on how not to run a pharmacy. I've had prescriptions "lost," filled incorrectly, or somehow just sitting there for days with zero notification. I've shown up only to be told they "never received" the script that my doctor confirmed was sent over hours before. And the way they say it -- like it's my fault -- is downright infuriating. I've walked away red-faced more than once thanks to their complete disregard for discretion. If you value your time, your health, or even the smallest shred of dignity, avoid this place like the plague. Normally I use them just for RX. Open good hours. Closed for lunch the pharmacy is. Call for details.

What couldn't improve should be what i was getting asked. The pharmacists indoors told me my order would be ready in about 40 minutes. Come to two hours later they are now telling me that I need to come back in about three other hours. Now i will have to come back for a third time in pain for my medication that was promised to be done by now. This review addresses the pharmacy here. They are supposed to close for lunch at 1:30pm each day. I arrived at the location at approximately 1:15 today. The car ahead of me took a while, but I still pulled up to the window by 1:25. They ignored me and put up their "closed for lunch sign" at 1:26. WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK. Downloaded the app while in line. Paid for the script online & went to the Express window. Employee there had no clue, made me give all my info, didnt have any idea what Express meant. I had the worst experience at this location today...I tried to exchange 3 hair products that my husband purchased for me in the wrong color. He lost the receipt...the packages were unopened. The manager was outrageously rude to me in every way! I was so upset upon arriving home that I called the corporate offices and complained about this horrible lack of a human. The Customer service operator Sharon was super kind and caring. She took all the important information from me. For me I just don't want anyone else treated this way that comes in after me! I was getting frustrated with my doctor's office because I couldn't get a prescription written correctly so that my insurance would cover it. Upon explaining this to Mary, she called the doctor and must've explained things in some top secret techno talk. My script was ready in 20 minutes with a modest co-pay. Wow! In addition to their miracle working, they have many of the over-the-counter items we use, right there at fingers reach. So I loaded up on those. Upon hearing it would be twenty minutes, I managed to do some small grocery and necessity shopping for the week. I then received extra cash back, eliminating a trip to the ATM! Not a bad visit. If I could give zero stars, I would. As a pregnant person, I made an appointment with the Walgreens Pharmacy to receive the RSV shot approved for pregnant patients by the CDC in September. When I arrived, I was told that verbal confirmation of gestational age was needed from my doctor. Inconvenient, and I wish the vaccine scheduling portal had provided this guidance, but I understood and worked with my doctor to coordinate this information to the pharmacist. I went back in to receive the vaccine two days later, after confirming with my doctor that they had called, and I was told this was still pending. I had to go back to work so I left, but I called the pharmacy again today and was told 'Oh yes, we received the confirmation, but you are at 35 weeks. That's too late for this shot, so sorry.' This is not the case. I cited CDC guidance that 32-36 weeks is the appropriate gestational age. The pharmacist on the phone agreed and asked me to come in today at 2:30 for the shot. When I arrived, again I was greeted with "we don't have confirmation from your doctor yet." Apparently I had been confused on the phone with another pregnant patient - very concerning and possibly a HIPPA violation; thankfully no additional information was shared with me about this other patient. Frustrated, I called my doctor's office then and there. The office staff told me, "We talked to the pharmacy - we were told a verbal confirmation was not adequate [note - I specifically asked about this], so we faxed over a prescription." I relayed this information to the pharmacist, who looked at me with a very confused expression and said they did not have verbal confirmation or a prescription for me. By now, this was my third trip to the pharmacy and still no shot. Again, this is time sensitive. Once you reach 36 weeks, you can no longer get this coverage and you have to wait until your baby is able to get the vaccine on their own. The CDC providing approval for a maternal RSV shot is a godsend and should be made more easily available. But I ran into barrier after barrier in receiving this vaccine. I encouraged the pharmacist to call my doctor's office back again for confirmation. Magically, the prescription appeared and I was allowed to receive the vaccine. The level of incompetency of the staff at this location is appalling. Before receiving the shot I asked the pharmacist to repeat my name, birthday and the name of the vaccine because my confidence in the healthcare being provided was at an all time low. When it came time to pay, I provided my insurance information. It was a busy day with several people waiting behind me. In running my insurance, I was told my insurance would not cover, which seemed strange. After some questioning, it was discovered that my insurance card was being run with the information (name/birthdate) of one of the other people in line with me at the pharmacy. I understand human error happens, and I understand being understaffed and stretched to the limit. But this was well beyond the limits of my understanding and this situation was unacceptable. I would not encourage anybody to go to this location for pharmacy needs and hope that Walgreens takes action regarding the poor treatment of patients at this location. read more

I have been in here several times and a worker named Shomari has been very rude to me and others. He acts like everyone is a bother and he talks down to people. Today I heard him say to an older man in a condescending man, "Scan your credit card the CORRECT way." Joe on the other hand was so helpful today. He helped me with my Good RX. I would stop by here if I need something specific that I didn't or couldn't find at a Walgreens nearest to my home. My doctor's office moved closer to this pharmacy so I requested that I pickup prescriptions here one time. The wait was quite long and there were at least five techs and two pharmacists at that time. The drive-thru seemed busy and to be honest, it looked like they were waiting just as long as the customers inside LOL! Went with my sister and waited while she got a vaccine. Walgreens are pretty much the same wherever you go. Rx, sundries, medical supplies, food & candy. Even wine. But shame on you. The store hours stated open till 12, but there was a sign on the door that said closing at 10. I came around 11pm not knowing that they'd be closed. Also, the music they play outside of the store was a very unsettling. I went there on Tuesday and they were playing out-of-tune organ music on the speakers outside. I am writing this review during my 50 min. (and counting) on-hold experience... I will begin by saying that, this location is clean. The *store* employees are kind and helpful. Aside from the odd issue with lines, I have no complaints about the *store.* Conversely, the *pharmacy* has some fundamental issues. THIS PHARMACY LOCATION IS TOO BUSY. For quite some time, they've been unable to keep up with the amount of patients/customers with which they do business. Furthermore, they just absorbed all of the customers from TWO other pharmacies. That's right, they were insanely busy, only to take on two other pharmacies' worth of new customers. Like being in quicksand and someone says, "Here let me throw you an anchor!" Typically, when one visits the pharmacy, in person, one is treated well. The pharmacists are always friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, when one visits the location, the pharmacy support staff are usually helpful and nice. Calling in, is another sorry entirely! Due to the medication I take, I have to call every time I pick it up, day of. Calling in is almost always a miserable experience. Just now, I was on hold for 22 min. Someone answered the phone at one time (after about 8 min); whomever picked up did not tell me that they'd be putting me on hold, they didn't even say "Hello." It just went from the waiting music, to the sound of the receiver being picked up, and then the on-hold message. Then, I was on hold for an additional 14 min. before someone just hang up on me. I didn't talk to a single person during this time. There was no option asking if I'd like a call back--nothing! They just hung up on me after I waited 22 min. It's infuriating and all-too-common. When I call, I pray that the pharmacist will pick up, because she is kind. But, usually I get the same guy who is rude and put-out by my call. The staff is overworked, I understand. This isn't a matter of "poor customer service;" it's a matter of employees being bogged down day-after-day, year-after-year. Walgreens really needs another location in this area--that is not likely to happen. Corporate could really help by hiring more pharmacy support staff; it's a simple solution to a large problem. It would make customers and staff happier and healthier--literally! You may be thinking, "This chick just likes to complain. Otherwise she'd go to another pharmacy." Sadly, due to extenuating circumstances, I *have* to use this pharmacy, and I *have* to call. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind so much. I sincerely hope that someone from Walgreens Corporate reads this. The staff are working so hard, to the point that they are stretched thin and the pharmacy is suffering. Again, that's not their fault, it happens overtime when employees don't get the help they need, when they don't feel heard. I want to end on a positive note, the store has a great selection. It's always well stocked and clean. They also have fabulous Halloween and Cosmetic sections. As a Basic Chick, this appeals to me (that sounds sarcastic but it's genuine)!! If you do use the pharmacy, try and go to the location if at all possible. Edit: When I was finally helped, Rose or Rosalee (sp?) picked up. She was understanding, nice, and apologetic. Made an appointment for 2nd COVID19 booster. Arrived 10 minutes early. No line. Guy behind counter questioned why I would get another booster. "You already had three shots. Two is all you need." I asked him if this was official Walgreen's policy and did he mean to contradict the CDC. He mumbled something like "just saying". I sat down, people already there are going in for shots, etc. at a good pace. Then my appointment time hits. Nobody gets called in for another 20 minutes! I'm done with Walgreens. I'm giving this Walgreens the extremely high rating of 1 star because I can't give it a minus 5. My experience today is that Management ignores customer issues by never, ever responding to customer requests to talk to the manager. My telephone calls to this store today just ring and ring and ring, sometimes for 5 minutes or longer. If and when someone does finally answer, they pick up quickly saying they are sorry they can't answer at the moment and please hold. Then, rather than put you on hold, they hang up. I know management will say it's all because of COVID and difficulty in hiring staff. I have no sympathy for a large corporation. I'll bet the CEO and shareholders make money hand over fist at the expense of customers. read more

I get that that people have found this Walgreens frustrating--and it has had hard use through the pandemic. What was once a 24 hr pharmacy is now pretty much a 9 am to 5 pm pharmacy. What I can say is this: they filled a bunch of prescriptions, had them done on time, and helped out a lot. Erica, the pharmacist I dealt with was professional, patient, and friendly. The people that work at this Walgreens are super! Make sure to get a Walgreens'card if you shop here, because the price difference between sale items which requires the card, and non-sale items is very noticible. If you need to get a shot, try to get it from the Asian female pharmacist who works on Thursday evening around right pm.my first intramuscular covid shot was one of the easiest shots I've ever gotten!
