Amber is incredible at what she does! I have to admit I was very nervous to have someone tattoo my face, I stalked Amber on social media for months before I had the courage to book an appointment. She is simply amazing and makes the process so smooth you wonder why you waited so long to book in the first place! I have seen Amber 3 times now, the first time was in 2019, a touch up a few weeks later, and then again this past Monday. Does it hurt? A little, but its not bad at all, she even uses a numbing cream after the first pass so you don't feel a thing after that. Is it expensive? Considering that you are permanently tattooing your face, NO! You get what you pay for, and Amber provides the after care AND a touch up appointment, so I find her to be extremely affordable! I save so much money and time not buying eyebrow pencils and filling in my brows, that alone is priceless. PLUS, the result is so natural!! How long is the healing time? About a month, but honestly after they peel the first time (about 5 days after your appointment) they look perfect (you don't even realize you still have some time to heal). I love my eyebrows and if you don't love yours, book an appointment today (Amber is the best in Reno and her schedule fills up fast!!) I already booked my touch up for 2022! Also, the space is so relaxing and bright and open. It is very clean inside and she follows all the covid rules from the health district. I felt very comfortable while at my appointment. read more

I can't even begin to express how happy I am with my results. Amber is seriously gifted and has a vision. I told her that I liked my eyebrows natural and a little wild and she bladed just the right spots to give me the look I wanted. Amber is very professional and really goes over everything the procedure is going to entail. Her intake paperwork is incredibly thorough and I felt very comfortable in her hands. She walks you through what to expect day by day while you're healing. The process itself hurts a little bit but I really didn't swell at all. The brow micro-blading appointment took a little under two hours. She charges $450, $50 of it being a deposit but it was well worth it and a competitive price. I'm honestly considering going back to have my eyeliner done. Amber books up but she is WORTHTHEWAIT! Get in soon and make sure you check out some of her other work! I've reposted her photo of my finished product! read more

I have had my eyebrows done several times over the years. Last year I went to Northern Nevada Permanent Makeup for the first time. Amber, the owner, is adorable and does an excellent job. This is the best my brows have ever looked. I will be back for a touch up when my brows need it. I am a year out from my original appointment and she sent me an annual reminder for a "touch up" , but noted that I may not yet need one. Since my brows still look fabulous, I will wait longer, but she is the only one I will go to from now on. Just one thing, book in advance (way before you think you want an appointment.) She is that popular! read more

Keeping your health and healing in mind. Explains in full detail what she can or can't do and why. Education is huge to Amber, educating you the client and herself staying up with education. This is permanent you can't go back... so why go to just anyone. Do your research and pay the extra and spend the time with Amber. Well worth the investment! Amber has a gorgeous smile and will make you comfortable during the procedure in her very clean and quiet location. read more

Northern Nevada Permanent Makeup - Brows on point... while flying a plane! Thanks to Amber! - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Amber is amazing! I am so happy that I found her. I have had a number of services done with her including microneedling on my face and body, she successfully removed some horrific mircobladed brows I stupidly had done elsewhere and then she worked her magic and microbladed a fresh set of brows. I get so many compliments on my eyebrows now and I literally NEVER do them. She is extremely professional and ensures that her clients are well informed and comfortable. She is extremely thorough in the aftercare and makes sure you understand the instructions. She goes over the healing process so you know what to expect. Her prices are fair. I am so happy with the results I have gotten with Amber. She is absolutely talented at what she does and an extremely hard working business woman. She is very knowledgable and stays up to date on the latest techniques for the best results. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for microneedling or microblading. She offers so many amazing services, I can't wait to try more!! read more

As a blonde I put a lot of research into finding the perfect person to do my brows, I found Amber shortly after she started and knew she was it! Unfortunately I moved shortly after, but a couple years later I moved back into the area and was finally able to get my brows done by the GOAT. I have gotten two touch ups since and can not recommend her enough! read more

Ladies, sick of drawing on your eyebrows every morning? I am! Feathered, arched, thin, or bold, eyebrows are one of the most important features of a woman's face. For those of us that foolishly over-tweezed in the 90's, rest assured, there is help! It's called microblading and in the last few years this semi-permanent beauty trend has helped reconstruct, define, and fill-in sad brows. The full process takes about two hours. Amber began by numbing the area with a topical agent. Next, she meticulously outlined my new, customized shape, allowing for a check in the mirror to approve or make changes. She then used a hand tool with attached needles to draw natural looking, individual, crisp hair strokes. There was only minimal discomfort and before I knew it, my sparse eyebrows had been transformed and were selfie ready! I'll visit her again in 6 weeks for a touch up and my new eyebrows will last anywhere between 1-3 years. From personal experience, I had this procedure done about a year and a half ago out of state and a majority of the color was still present. I sought out Amber to enrich the color and create a new, bolder shape. I discovered her on Instagram and was pleased to learn she offers a variety of services including eyeliner, beauty marks, lip liner, and skin needling to reduce acne scars and stretch marks. Amber was professional and punctual and was very understanding when I reached out a few weeks in advance to reschedule my appointment. I am so grateful for Amber's skill and precision and am looking forward to the time I will save in the morning having picture perfect brows when rolling out of bed. read more

Northern Nevada Permanent Makeup - before and after microblading - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Amber is the most wonderful permanent makeup tech! I found her work on Instagram when looking for local places that do microblading. Obviously it is a big decision given that it is permanent makeup and a bit expensive ($450, touch up included). You definitely get what you pay for though! I absolutely love how my brows turned out and have been encouraging all of my friends to do it! Amber made me feel super comfortable, and was receptive to everything I wanted for my perfect brows. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. My brows were very sparse and asymmetric. I wanted them to be the same shape and fill in some of the gaps but didn't want them to be too dark and she did exactly that! Right after getting them done it's a bit terrifying because they get significantly darker but they heal beautifully! I get so many compliments and I don't have to worry about my eyebrows anymore! The before and after pictures speak for themselves. Absolutely would recommend to everyone!! read more

Northern Nevada Permanent Makeup - Microblading by Amber. Before, after, healed, and after touch up. - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Amber did a lash enhancement procedure on me. At first I was nervous, but Amber was comforting and professional. She explained everything that she was doing step by step and continually asked me how I was feeling throughout the procedure. When she was finished, she explained all of the after care explicitly and answered all of the questions that I asked. She told me what to expect and my healing process was exactly as she explained. I was happy immediately after the procedure, but now that I am completely healed, I'm ecstatic with the final results! Most days I don't even put on eyeliner, which has made my makeup routine so much easier. I have referred Amber to many of my friends and wouldn't trust anyone else when it comes to permanent makeup! Overall, Amber is a complete professional and the salon she works out of is beautiful. I'm actually looking forward to my touch up session! **UPDATE: I went back in for my touch up and I experienced the same warm professionalism I did the first time. This time my eyes are bolder than the last and I am so happy with the results. I have continued to recommend Amber to my friends and family! read more

I am beyond happy that I went to NNPM for my eyebrows. I originally got them microbladed but realized that I am definitely more of a powder brow kinda gal. Amber was SUPER friendly and SUPER helpful. She takes the time to make sure your brows are going to turn out as symmetrical as possible. It feels more like a therapy session with eyebrows as a bonus because she is a REALLY good listener. I highly recommend her and look forward to my annual touch up. It's been a huge blessing not having to draw my brows in, especially when I go to the beach! Amber, you are a God send! read more

For my Mom's 75 birthday we gifted her eyebrow microblading. I researched providers here in Reno and found many people I knew had gone to Amber. They recommended her 100% During Mom's appt, Amber assessed her skin and felt a powder brow would work best for her, not the microblading. My Mom's brows look beautiful. She is so happy with them and no longer struggles with trying to get her brows on due to vision issues. Amber was also flexible in her touch up policy since my Mom lives in Arizona and had to fly in for her appointments. I will be booking my own appt with Amber soon. read more

One of the best decisions I have made! Trusting someone to essentially tattoo your face is terrifying but Amber is the real deal. She is incredibly professional and within 2 minutes you feel like you have known her your whole life. Every step of the micro-blading process was explained and I her aftercare package with directions was perfect for someone like me who forgets everything. I couldn't believe how beautiful my brows were after, I feel as though Amber has the ability to give you some added confidence within an hour. I waited to post this so that I did not do this out of anger. Over a year ago I went in to see Amber about doing my brows. I had told her that I had went through cancer and had very little brows to work with. She said this was not a problem. By the time my appointment came I was so excited as I had seen the work she had done on her website. When I went in her shop was very clean and very relaxing. I felt good and thought I would have a great experience. It took Amber about 2 hours to do my brows. I should her a picture of what they looked like before the cancer and asked her to get them as close as possible. When she was done I was a little surprised that they were darker than what I expected being that I'm blonde. She assured me that they would lighten up as time passed. When I got home my family even noticed how dark they were but I told them what she said. Over the next two days I started to get commits about how one was higher than the other and how one looked more tattoo on and the other had more hair strokes. I also noticed this but continued to do everything Amber said to do. After a week I called her and told her about one being higher and also one being darker. She said when I came in for the touch up she would fix all of that. So I just waited it out and followed all of the instructions she gave me. On my next appointment she seemed a little put out when I told her I was not totally happy with them. She said she would fix them . During the appointment she seemed like she was in a hurry and told me that women my age (62) our skin doesn't take the dye very well! Ok so if she knew this why didn't she tell me in the beginning? When she was done I looked at them and they seemed ok but she acted as if just wanted to be done with me. After I left and when home my husband noticed that one was still higher than the other one. At that point I was done. I have now been told by another permanent makeup company that it would be best if I just have them taken off and start over. I feel very disappointed especially since I had just went through cancer and thought this would be a good pick me up. I feel like maybe if you have eyebrows and something for her to go off of she will do a good job, but not if you don't have eyebrow at all. I finally had to go to a make up artist to help me on coloring them in. read more

What can I saw about my experience with Amber...... FABULOUS!!! I'm 10 days post microblading and couldn't be happier! Best decision ever. Amber is more than knowledgable in her craft and her shop is immaculate. If your wavering on having your eyebrows done Don't! You will love them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Amber. The paperwork seemed like a lot. At times, I thought I was initialing for redundant points and didn't really like initialing where it said if I see someone else, they'll refuse my business. I think there are other ways to address that without refusing someone. And then I thought the only way I would get another service is if I don't like the result or move away from Reno so I got over it. Aside from that, everything was amazing. I did microblading in Sac in early 2017 and though I then liked it, they added an arch that went above my natural brow, which 2.5 years later is still a noticeable reddish tint. I thought if I got it redone, the contrast would take away from the discoloration. Throughout the process, Amber was a joy to chat with. We had a lot in common so the appointment was fun. Some major differences between Amber and the other company was when I saw the finished result, it looked good!! Previously, there was swelling and really dark colors, but I could see what it was going to look like after the healing at the end of the appt. Another major thing I loved was the healing process. The previous two times I had this done, my eyebrows scabbed and peeled like I had a disease. With her post process care and instructions, there was little to no scabbing compared to what I was used. She even extended the time in which I apply the ointment to try to heal the damaged skin above my eyebrows from the previous microblading. Coming from someone who has worked with someone else in this arena, I can without a doubt say Amber is much better! read more
