4/5 Fluffy Fluffy really lives up to its name. Spacious cafe with so many options to choose from. The pancakes are incredibly soft and jiggly, almost like eating a sweet cloud. I tried the matcha soufflé pancakes and they were light, not overly sweet, and paired perfectly with the matcha syrup. My friend got the tiramisu soufflé pancakes, they also loved it because it was not too sweet. You can actually watch them prepare the pancakes! Definitely a good place to go if you're craving something sweet but not too sweet!

Let me start with Karol was a dear! She was quick to answer my question and made my decision making easy! I had the tiramisu fuwa fuwa and it was everything I dreamed of! I think cuz I hadn't eaten anything idk all day I may have devoured it in one go. I enjoyed the texture and the flavor for sure compliments to the kitchen. I def was relaxed there and wished I stayed longer if it wasn't for my dinner reservation! I'll def make it my goal to come back again.

We wanted to try out a new well-rated place in the nabe; the idea of J fluffy pancakes as we haven't been able to travel to Japan as we'd have liked this year seemed like a plan. It's a bit further from us than we'd have liked but the benefit is yes the exercise. The interior feels really big, which as another reviewer pointed out is unusual in the cramped E. Village. I loved my avocado and egg crowaffle: It was the perfect amt of sweetness and crunch with the protein heft. The avocado is cut up in little pieces so that it doesn't slide around when you bite into it which I've I'll always hated about some versions of avocado toast. Our dishes came with tater tots and a salad with balsamic dressing: I appreciated that the chipotle mayo for the tots came in a ceramic container and not the ubiquitous clear or black plastic to-go tub. One thing I woulda appreciated more was if the alcoholic drinks were made clearer in the menu: I only found out they had any by reading a review here. Part of what contributes to the avant look of the place is that the servers clear your table too, so you don't see a trash or recycle bin anywhere: We recycle and it's not clear whether the restaurant does so I took my partner's iced tea cup home with us.

Fluffy fluffy is appropriately named. Their namesake pancakes are certainly flattened pillows. The establishment is clean and spacious with tables as far as the eye can see. Staff is cheerful and attentive at the counter. You can order for pickup from the Toast Local app and earn cashback rewards towards future orders. My favorite dish is the Eggs Benedict. If you are a runny yolk lover like me, you will be impressed and buoyed by the perfectly cooked poached eggs that has the texture of gooey silk. It sure tastes expensive! The croffle, a flattened croissant like a waffle was good but be warned that it's very dense. The fried chicken balls from the Tokyo Teriyaki Chicken Bowl are packaged with care separately from the slaw and rice to keep it crispy. Note that while tasty, the fried balled chicken thigh pieces are very dense too. The Basque cheesecake is technically a Japanese chiffon cheesecake as it has a very light and fluffy texture. The Nutella Banana Pancakes are served with runny chocolate sauce, a couple of banana pieces, a strawberry sliced in half, and fresh whipped cream crowned with a single Ferrero Rocher chocolate, a real classy adornment for a yummy dish. Definitely add this place to your brunch/lunch/dinner rotation.

This is a super cute, clean , bright sort of looking place. Plenty of chairs and tables to choose from. I got the fluffy pancakes with cream and fruit and there is I think some powdered sugar on the plate. Their fluffiness of the pancake comes from being made with egg whites whipped. They are soufflé and come from Japan I believe. They also have a cute name. Mine was tasty. They also have like soufflé sandwiches like eggs and bacon I think I saw, Chocolate something which I was told to stay away from due to my allergies. I told friends about this place so I will be back as it was that good! Service was fine though I did have to wait a bit.

Tried the viral Japanese soufflé pancakes, and they're as soft and airy as they look! Each pancake is made to order, so it comes out warm, fluffy, and perfectly jiggly. The cafe itself is bright and spacious. *Salmon Egg Benedict $22.75 Instead of the usual English muffin, the poached eggs sit atop cloud-like soufflé pancakes. Plus, it's such a great deal that you get a free cheesecake on weekends (I believed it was a limited time deal). *Original Basque Cheesecake $5.99 They offer original, matcha, and black tea flavors for the basque cheesecake, and I went with the staff-recommended original. I wasn't expecting much since it's a pancake cafe, but the cheesecake turned out incredibly creamy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. *Matcha Tiramisu Souffle Pancake $18.75 I've seen some reviews complaining about the pancake size, but in person it was actually huge and very filling. The soufflé pancake was airy, jiggly, and beautifully risen, served with matcha-infused mascarpone cream and matcha syrup. The matcha was quite bitter and one-dimensional on its own, but better with strawberries for balance. I got their matcha latte for free as I got a set, but I didn't really like the bitter aftertaste.

They used too much flour and the souffle pancakes were too structured and not as fluffy as expected. I was a little disappointed and would not go back especially when they are almost $20/each before adding the extra stack.

I finally made it to Fluffy Fluffy NYC and the pancakes were yummy! Super soft, cloud-like, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I also tried the ham & cheese croissant which was a little salty but tasty. Bonus points for the fact that they serve alcoholic drinks too. I had a peach Bellini, which leaned a bit too sweet for my personal taste, but still refreshing and enjoyable overall. The space is cute, the staff was friendly, and everything came out pretty quickly. Great spot for a casual brunch date or a solo treat-yourself moment. My only issue was the mandatory tipping system. When you go to pay, the screen makes you choose a tip before you can even complete your purchase. You order and pay before you sit down. Tipping is a courtesy, not a requirement. I believe in tipping for good service, but it should never be forced. What made this even more frustrating was that I was asked to tip before I even received my food. At that point, I didn't know if the service would be good, if my order would be right, or how I'd be treated. In fact, I ordered a BLT and ended up with a ham and cheese, so I had already tipped before even realizing there was a mistake. Food was good, but I wouldn't return.

I walked by this place enough without going in because I had been waiting for others to come with. But tonight was the night - surprised they were open so late but realized only after I ordered the signature that they serve their chicken and waffles all day (enthusiastically recommended for next time by the employee who was very nice btw). Clean environment - I think this used to be a ramen place I frequented. Anyway I digress. Food was good and that night was the kind of good where you can't believe you ate the whole thing and how quickly you ate it.

I came here expecting to wait in line, but was pleasantly surprised that there was so much space. Maybe it's because of the location on 1st ave or because it's new. The space itself is large and airy with many tables to sit. To order you have to go to the counter. Once you place the order they give you a number and you can sit wherever you want. We ordered: 1. Hazelnut latte- 4/5 2. Croffle egg Benedict with salmon- 5/5 3. Soufflé pancakes - 5/5 The hazelnut latte can only be ordered iced. That was fine for me on a summer day but it would be nice to have some more hot coffee options Croffle is just a squished croissant. I think I will skip the Croffle option next time to save some calories. The Benedict itself was really good. It comes with a side salad, some hash browns and a delicious dipping sauce. We also got a side of avocado. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. For the pancakes we stuck to the basic option. They were so airy and just melt in your mouth. I got a little video of how they jiggle. According to other reviews it takes some time to make them. For us, it didn't feel like we waited because they arrived as we were wrapping up on our savory part of the meal. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal. Service was good too.

Cute shop with a lot of seating. You order at the counter then seat yourself and they bring the food to you. I shared this with 3 other people and it was a good size for a dessert after a full meal Signature pancakes: 5/5. Very fluffy and was good but definitely a bit expensive for what it is

Excellent food: delicious, light (fluffy!) pancakes. Service was quick and smooth with very friendly staff. The ambiance is quiet and cozy, making for a great experience whether for brunch or dessert!

A nice cafe and a good brunch spot. I came with a friend on a weekend, and it wasn't busy around 10:30am... it filled up by 11:30am though! I enjoyed the soufflé pancakes, which is what they were known for. I liked the strawberry flavor, although it was VERY sweet. I liked how there were fresh fruit served on the pancake dishes. I also enjoyed the savory dish of eggs benedict. They cooked the eggs well here. I even enjoyed the side salad (seasoned well) it came with, and the tater tots was a solid side as well. My only small complaint is for the croffle that the eggs sit upon... It had a weird texture that didn't taste like a pastry nor was it crispy (not giving croissant nor waffle).

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
