To start off this salon is simply gorgeous. It's so beautiful inside. It gives out a super classy modern vibe without feeling like one of those stuck up salons. I highly recommend Erin, she's my go to girl. She's very concerned about what you are trying to achieve with your looks and she works out the best action plan for doing it so, where the result is above and beyond your expectations. On top of it all she's so sweet and cute and caring and makes you feel welcome, wanted, important and at home. I wouldn't have anyone else touch my hair considering when I did so she was capable of fixing the damage someone else had caused with terrible coloring. Of course she made it look flawless. My hair is clown orange! I had a terrible experience! I filled out a customer feedback survey hoping someone would contact me. No one did and the reason why I am writing a negative review. My hair was getting almost black from dying it myself. I went to Fluff Color | Makeup | Blowdry Bar and Bridal Salon to get some help. I paid $644 for 5 hours of work. The hair stripping agent was applied to the back of my head first and then the front. I have a lot of hair so it was left on the back of my hair for a very long time. Before I left the salon, the girl who was working on my hair raved about her work. I told her it was a first-step but was not what I was expecting. She disagreed. When I got home and looked at the back (they didn't show me before I left the salon and keep in mind, I did not have them fully blow my hair out), my hair was clown orange. You know the color of a clown wig for Halloween? That is the color of the back of my hair. The front looks fine, as the stripping agent was not left on the front as long. WTF! Thank goodness I am going to NYC this next week to get someone who actually knows what they are doing to fix this sloppy, careless work. Very dissatisfied with the service I received. Went in to cut my bangs and get make up done and my the hairstylist who cut my bangs did not follow the wispy bang style I came in with and now I have choppy straight cut bang (if that even makes sense) that are it's too short to style with. I asked for the length to hang at my eyebrows and they hang above the brow & now i can forget about styling my hair for the holidays cause my hair takes forever grow back. read more

There is nothing better than getting your hair done at Fluff. I've been going for quite a while and what I love about Fluff is EVERYTHING. The staff is so friendly and they have such a cute building. In normal times, you are treated with champagne while you are getting your treatment BUT during Covid, you are able to sit outside in their super cute courtyard and have your champs while you wait. I've been seeing Morgan from my very first visit and there is nothing that she can't do. She is great to chat with and is so helpful in helping you decide what/how to give you the very best look. I also really appreciated Morgan when I went through a back injury. She literally washed my hair while I was sitting straight up in the chair- what a pro. Love LOVE going to see Morgan. With stylists at other shops, I felt like the process of getting my hair done took forever - and what I really appreciate is how I can get in and out with a nice glass of champagne in the middle. I have been going to this hair salon for years. Ethan was my stylist for most of that time and when he moved out-of-state, the service went downhill for me. The first thing was the huge jump in price increases; I went to paying from $70-$80 for a retouch and bang cut to $125+$15. I wasn't given notice during any part of the process (booking, confirmations or at the cash register) and the drastic price changes weren't posted/emailed/text. I brought this up to my new stylist and it sounded like I wasn't the only one who was upset. I understand the cost of business goes up but that price is more than I pay for my monthly phone bill (which I use every hour of my waking day) and more than my car insurance. It's a pretty large jump in pricing with zero notice from their management. I was on the fence about continuing as a client after this happened. What put me over the edge was showing up at 8am for my normal hair appointment and being no showed, no called after I had already paid for parking. Not only did I not receive the service I had scheduled for weeks ahead of time, I never received an apology or a simple call to rebook from my new stylist or management/owner. Further, my stylist posted herself having drinks on Instagram that same day she 'called out sick.' Fluff has lost my loyalty and they have lost a regular paying client they've had for years due to both of these circumstances. I would not recommend their salon or services. read more

Didn't like my makeup for New Year's Eve. I got eye makeup only with Andrea. It looked like a kid drew crayon eyeliner on. She didn't curl the fake lashes and did not apply any mascara! After spending $60, I had to go home and wash it off and redo it for the evening. The girl getting her makeup done next to me looked great though. Wish I had the other makeup artist doing my makeup. I honestly wish there was an option to leave zero stars for this review. I recently went to Fluff Bar for a Bridal hair and & makeup trial because they consider themselves a top Bridal Salon. I left the salon in tears because my trial was so disappointing, the stylist didn't take my inspiration into consideration AT ALL. She brought me back and left me there for 20 minutes before we started, she didn't let me look in the mirror during my makeup, and rushed me downstairs for a photo in a dark room before deserting me for another client. I looked at the picture because it was the only way to look at my makeup and it looked ok, but my hair looked awful. When I got to my car and saw my face in the light, its was AWFUL! The foundation was the wrong color and totally splotchy, my eye makeup was non-existant, and blush was SO harsh it looked like I was punched. She didn't contour or touch my brows at all. It honestly looked like a child had gotten into her mom's makeup bag, and not anywhere near what I would expect from a professional. I also got feedback from hair and makeup professionals who agree the work was unacceptable from someone who calls themselves a professional. I didn't know what to do so I called the salon and asked to talk to a manager. After talking on the phone to an unsympathetic manager, I emailed her the pictures and asked her if it was up to their standards. She was EXTREMELY condescending and unprofessional, and blamed me for the terrible trial. Insisting I needed fake lashes (they said they had latex-free glue when I booked, but they didn't so i obviously declined the lashes..) and and highlights to feel beautiful. Plus, I should expect AT LEAST 5 trials ($170 a piece) before I was satisfied with my look. However, the issue wasn't the style of the look, it was the application that was no where near what you would expect for a bride. I shared my experience with other brides in the area on a local Facebook group for brides to be and they were completely outraged with the service I received, and even more outraged with the way the manager spoke to me (I shared the emails). Over 100 brides in the area insisted I post a review of my experience because it was totally unacceptable, and that it isn't fair to other brides looking to feel beautiful on their wedding day. This salon, and the owner Brittany Chambers made me feel the opposite of beautiful, she made me feel little, defensive, and that my opinion as a customer didn't matter. I stopped in last night for the Yelp Event to check out the space. I've never been to this spot before and wow.. it's a stunner! Truly, the space is absolutely gorgeous. Located in what was apparently a row home, I kept wandering around just to take it all in. 2 floors that are all light, airy, with skylights and beautiful decor.There is a private back terrace that had a fireplace and seating that made you feel so relaxed before you even begin a service. This was an event for elite Yelpers and the lovely ladies there were applying lashes to anyone interested, I love a good lash but don't partake myself very often at all. I don't have the patience or know how to do it right so this was perfect for me. The ladies working there were incredibly sweet and helpful. They offer services for hair, make up and lashes there. I believe I saw a sign for spray tanning as well. (I need to check that out). It was nice to get a taste of what they offer and my complimentary lashes looked lovely. I went in on June 4 to get my hair and makeup done for my engagement photoshoot and I was had a great experience. Unfortunately, I'm bad with names and can't remember the girl who did my hair but I loved it (I'm terrible at curling, which is why I wanted someone to do it!) but I do know Jasmine did my makeup (she gave me her card) and she did an amazing job. I wanted more of a "natural" look but obviously not too natural... and after seeing the photos I was even MORE happy than I was in person! I'm really happy with the job they both did and would definitely go back again! :) If I were getting married in Denver, I would probably use them for my hair/makeup but our wedding will be in NY. I definitely suggest this studio to any bride getting married here in Denver! And to top it off, the whole place is fabulous! It would be a wonderful morning with your bridesmaids!! read more

So disappointed! I have gone to Fluff for years and loved working with Ethan however this past weekend I was not there and did not have an appointment and was charged $275! I called to confirm with the receptionist that I did not have an appointment and she confirmed there must be an error, I have called 2x now and emailed and cannot get a call back from a manager to fix this. Finally had to call my bank to cancel my card and report fraudulent activity. Went to fluff bar for to get my hair and makeup done for a really important event. I had never been before but the ratings seemed good so I figured everything would go well. My makeup was so caked on and creasing under my eyes and all over my face by the time I got to my car. My hair was flat and SO STATIC-Y from whatever they use to do hair styles. I looked like a clown. I walked into my house and my husband was I shock how bad my makeup was. 10 minutes before our event I had to sit in my bathroom and take all of the makeup off and put my hair up from how staticky it was. Will absolutely never go back or refer anyone. I highly recommend you don't blindly go here unless you have specifically had a good experience with one specific stylist here. I was so demoralized and upset by how much money I spent and how disheveled I ended up looking on such an important night. read more

Girlfriends and I got some Travelzoo's. Our bad for not reading all the restrictions (no more then 2 per party, no upgrading). I don't know what kind of licensing the nail techs have but it's a joke. Worst mani/pedi we have ever received. I'm Vietnamese and my mom and aunt owned shops for years. It wasn't all posh and fancy like Fluff but they knew what they were doing. Bad filing, even worst paint jobs. Doesn't even touch the cuticle. Cute place with nice white decor but... I will not go back. Expensive and not worth it at all. $10 for a glass of wine and $38 for a basic pedi. Little selection of OPI polish, didn't even have green. read more

My sister purchased two Travel Zoo vouchers for manicures and cocktails ($19 a voucher) for a girls night out at Fluff Bar. Our appointments were at 5 and 5:30 on a Sunday evening. When we entered, there were two clients getting blow outs, but it was otherwise pretty empty. The manicurist was sitting on a couch and reluctantly got up when we arrived for our appointment. She asked us to choose a color (from a decent collection of OPI). We then sat at the counter and my sister went first. A few minutes into her manicure, she asked us what we wanted to drink. There was no drink menu, so we looked over at the bar area and decided to both get a glass of white wine. She brought over the drinks and continued on my sister's manicure. About 25 minutes later it was my turn. We both agreed it was one of the worst manicures we've ever gotten. The filing was uneven, the polish was streaky/smudgy (she laid the polish and top coat on very thick) and there was also a lot of polish pooling in the cuticles. The manicurist was overall very unfriendly and even told me she didn't like the color I picked out! They didn't even have nail dryers, she just sprayed them with this "drying spray" that didn't do much since she laid the polish on so thick. Needless to say we both left with nails that we could've done much better ourselves. I really wanted to like this place. I think it's a cute concept with girly interior (chandeliers, Sex and the City on the TV). The other staff there were very fun and friendly. It looks like they give great blow outs- I just wish the manicures were up to par (especially since they are regularly priced at $28!) A disappointing experience overall- there are less expensive manicures that have much better results. read more

I used the team at Fluff Bar for my bridal services and I can't recommend them highly enough! Brittany an incredible time with my hair. She was even able to teach my bridesmaid a way to turn it into an updo for the reception in a very easy way that only took a few minutes. Andrea did my makeup and I was equally as pleased. The space is absolutely gorgeous for getting ready and it was such a key part of my wedding day morning. The entire hair and makeup team was so much fun and every one of my bridesmaids was happy with their hair and make up which is very impressive. The girls had us out right on schedule as well. Giving one star because it's by far the best concept I have experience with plush white furniture and a full stocked bar (and because zero stars isn't an option) Onto the actual service. I had intended on an upgraded pedicure and a gel manicure. Two techs for 6 people (we had emailed and made appointments ahead of time, had to give them a credit card) We have been here two hours and counting and now only 3 of 6 people aren't getting pedicures (me: by choice the others bc we have a time crunch) I had the gel polish done and my nails were filed all the way down when I eagerly said "as long as possible!!" I went from 100% to about 45% when I saw them "filed and buffed" I let it go and the gel color options were great for winter or Mexico.. Unfortunately I'm not experiencing either so the color I picked ended up looking terrible. The edges and sides of my nail bed aren't even polished and I'm torn on telling them while we are here how much I HATE the color, the actual application and everything. (FYI I get manicures every two weeks, it's something I enjoy doing and it's how I keep my nails long and healthy- former nail biter) I'm just so disappointed in the entire experience. I picked the place based off reviews and everything and it was just a major disappointment. My other friends got a French tip gel, and just basic polishes.. Their cuticles are not trimmed (yes, it's "illegal" but I mean give me a break, my nails actually look worse) The three pedicures were basic not upgraded and one girl looks to be enjoying it. Not worth the money... Came in with a large bridal party. The space was beautiful, and the bride left happy with her look, but none of the bridal party did. The listening skills of the staff are lacking. We had 9 girls to get done in two hours and they had no schedule or plan. They did get us out of there in the two hours, but it felt very chaotic towards the end. Personally, I was okay with my hair (we had people who weren't), but my makeup wasn't very great. Their airbrush machine was clogged, but she used it on me anyway so my skin looked like it hadn't been airbrushed. She put orange lipstick on me when I asked for a pale pink and then when I asked her to change it because it was too orange she layered more orange on my lips. Also, didn't fill in gaps in my eyelashes, and told me I shouldn't be able to see them in the mirror from sitting in my chair... Considering the lashes were for picture taking purposes that didn't make much sense. When she left me, she went in another room and then one of the people in our party went to ask where the bathroom was and caught her talking about me negatively. I have never had a bad experience getting my hair and makeup done because I am usually not picky, but I really didn't like this place. On top of that, the prices should have made sure it was a fabulous experience and it just wasn't. Everything is an add on, which they continuously tell you when you are sitting in the chair, which makes the whole experience uncomfortable as well. They told me things were add ons when they weren't supposed to be for the package I paid for. I definitely would not go back, don't waste your money. read more

I had Fluff do the hair and makeup for my wedding this summer as it was Downtown and they offer on-site services. They also charge a flat rate per hour, which makes it economical! I had two hair trials and a makeup trial beforehand. I worked with Vanessa and she was absolutely amazing. I brought in pictures of my dress and ideas off what I wanted and she went to work. The first style fell out shortly after leaving the salon but she changed the design the second time and it was exactly what I was looking for. They use Stila cosmetics and will work with personal makeup you have as well to make sure you're ready to go! The only downside to these are that they are pricey trials. 2 hair and one makeup were over $150. Definitely would recommend doing this before going out on the town so you aren't all glam'd up for nothing. The night of our rehearsal, we came to Fluff with a group of 6 girls to get hair and mani/pedis done. A few of my girls had their most recent coupon for a blowout and mani/pedi. We booked it for 3pm as the rehearsal was at 5:30. Definitely leave tons of extra time as two of my girls weren't done until 6pm. The salon was busy and those two girls didn't start getting worked on until after 4. On the wedding day, Vanessa and Ashley showed up and whipped through all 9 of us in 3 hours. Full hair and makeup for all of us. They were easily able to go off verbal cues as to what the girls would like done, as well as pictures. Our bridal party looked amazing and I couldn't have been happier! Everyone's hair stayed in from 9am-midnight and there were no makeup issues either. If you're looking for wedding assistance, I would definitely recommend the Fluff team. Just keep extra time in mind if you're heading to the salon. read more

I felt they listened to our needs and were very friendly. My makeup and hair were beautiful and lasted the whole day into the night. Thanks ladies! READ THIS: I read these women's bad reviews and frankly they make me laugh. I don't understand how these women left unsatisfied-- my stylists would not let us leave until we were satisfied. In my opinion, some customers must be unhappy because they do not speak up. How do you expect the stylist to know you do not like your hair/makeup if you are not going to say anything?? So let me start by saying that I am a licensed hairstylist and was super excited to go somewhere where no one knew me so I could experience the full ambiance. The Fluff Bar is adorable and I love the concept. My stylist was totally rad, gave me some major 80's hair for a party I was going to later. And being able to start the party off with a glass of champagne, not bad either. Now, the organization of it all was chaotic. I run my own studio and pride myself of timing and being up front with all my clients as to how things will work. 4 of 6 of us showed up on time and ready to go, but were't started for at least 15-20 minutes. They didn't know what packages we all had signed up for and seemed a little overwhelmed. Finally after starting everyone, things were moving along. But then I started looking at the time and realized that I had been there for 2 1/2 hours and had only had my hair done. I was supposed to get my makeup done too. I opted to not have it done, so we could get to our dinner reservations and still sat for another 30 mins while my sister had her eye makeup only done... I loved my stylist but I don't thing it would be worth it to go back. read more

I'm new to Fluff Bar, but I've been following Ashley Smith for awhile. She is incredible and gives the best blow outs. Ever. I'm not kidding, that woman can work the blow dryer like you wouldn't believe. I also love going to her because she can do it all - haircut, color, wax, mani and pedi; which makes for a mini spa day. She's also a delight to be around and genuinely cares about how I'm doing and knows what's going on in my life. I can't say enough good things about her. In regards to Fluff Bar, the owners seem nice and offered me something to drink, gave me an iPad to browse and made sure I was comfortable. My only criticism is it seems like it could be more organized. I know that it's a bar at night but it could be better designed to suit the salon aspect. Overall, it's a minor complaint. read more

If you're just coming here for a blowout and accept that it is a frivolous use of money, that's totally fine. I requested a ton of volume in hopes that $40 would get me something better than what I can do myself. I can't say that was the case. Also, the products they used, Kevin.Murphy, while expensive, are not as sensitive as they claim. I was told the products are so mild, they can be used directly on your scalp. Well, my scalp has a ton of tiny bumps on it now and it's likely because of these products. If you have a sensitive scalp, you should request that they only put product on your hair, and not on your head. Also, I made an appointment over the phone and was specifically told that the cancellation policy is 1/2 the cost of your appointment if you are a no show. When I directly asked how long I should cancel in advance, they told me just to call ahead. Of course when I tried to cancel, they said, "Sorry, you have to call 8 hours ahead! It's right on the website!" Well, if you make an appointment via the website, you can use the "it's right on the website" line. (For the record, I called 6 hours ahead). If you make an appointment over the phone, what your girls say should be the rule. It's just good customer service to say, ok our apologies, we can cancel your appointment. Though based on the passive aggressive responses from this business owner, I don't think this is the friendliest business. read more

I could rave about this place all day! My mom and I went here to get our hair done for a night out on the town. Not only was the atmosphere so beautiful, the staff was amazing and made me feel gorgeous for my big night out! My mom loved my makeup so much that she decided to get her makeup done as well. I previously used Fluff before my engagement photo shoot for hair and makeup. This weekend I went back again with my bridesmaids for bridal hair and makeup. I have to say this place was the PERFECT way to start the big day. The salon was bright, clean and "girly" with great music playing. The ladies there were even walking around with champagne topping us off when our glasses looked low. My bridesmaids all had different hair requests - some were pretty basic and some were more elaborate and each one loved the final result. I absolutely LOVED how Alex my makeup and it stayed on the entire night with no touch-ups. She even came to my hotel later to do my mom's makeup because mom couldn't get to the salon on time. My hair was a vision -- so different, unique, and exactly what I asked Ashley to do. Everyone commented on it at the wedding and I am so happy I had the perfect hairstyle to make me feel worthy of having everyone staring at me when I walked down the aisle. I'll stop gushing but to any soon-to-be-brides out there, I cannot recommend this place enough. Fluff is the best place you could go with your girls to get glommed up before your wedding! I promise. I was incredibly impressed with the blow out and eye make up jobs that I've received from Fluff Bar in the past, however; I experienced a less than stellar experience and outcome with the manicure I received. My nails are not filed even and the gel Polish is also not even, nor does it cover the entire nail. With the filing I also received a cut just below the nail line that hurts very badly. The technician began to rush towards the end of the application and I feel like for the money spent, it was mediocre work. I will not be returning for the nail services, though I would recommend the other services that they do provide. read more

This was such a great way to start a girl's weekend! My best friend and I came here for blowouts and champagne, right before a baseball game. We were greeted with a drink menu -- they have a FULL bar -- and a room full of the sweetest stylists, who felt like our best girl friends. We ordered the champagne cocktails - YUM - and Jenny did my blowout. I'm very particular about my hair, because I have long and thick hair that many stylists can be overwhelmed by. So I call ahead to make an appointment and stated I wanted a highlight touch up (just bringing up my previous highlights closer to the roots), I was told that was $99. I show up, the atmosphere was nice, the stylists was super pleasant and my hair looked good. I get to the register and they tell me it is $238!! I was honestly shocked. She then proceeds to tell me they did Bayalage (when I wasn't told that's what I was getting) and that's $139. Then I asked her to even out my ends, I was charged $70 for a trim. And THEN I was told she did a toner on my - WITHOUT telling me or asking if I wanted it, which was $39. This toner is always included my color. I honestly am baffled and feel like I was robbed. Love this place! Came in for a full lady day. Hair Cut, Color and Blow out. Manicure & Pedicure Make Up Application All was done by JENNY. She spent the whole afternoon with me and really made this experience a treat. I received numerous compliments on all the services she provided. I forgot to mention there is Champagne / Alcohol offered?!?! The decor is cute and space clean. I would recommend Fluff Bar to friends and family. read more
