Razors is an awesome shop! All the staff are always so welcoming and treat you like family when you walk in. Clean and socially distanced environment. The salon is covered in local artist's adornments, metal work, local prints, and sculptures. Blair really did a super job! I came in raggedy and left feeling like a new person. Seems cliche but having just moved to the area, 20 hour drive days packing and unpacking and no "down time" I was not feeling my best. The prices are mid-high, but it's serious quality and attention to detail, you get what you pay for(in this case I feel I got more!) Y'all, Renee is faaaantastic. Reasonably priced, friendly and super talented. She cuts both my hair and my boyfriend's and neither of us have ever had a bad cut here. She's taken me from a literal buzz cut to a long pixie over the last year and a half and it's been an undeservedly enjoyable journey. She's incredible with color, listens to everything you want, offers suggestions and is half the price of any other service I've gotten in the city. Bonus(es): You can book online (and see real prices), they always have beer in the fridge for customers, they take walk-ins, and do facial waxing. Yelp done good, REAL good in helping me find the right person to take care of my locks. It took me about seven years to find a stylist when I was living in Phoenix. Thanks to my Mile-High Yelpers, it took me only four months since moving to Denver to find Kelly and I need look no further. Kelly is super-fast and efficient, and she just "got" what I wanted with minimal explanation on my part. The salon is a really cool spot and all of the stylists there are very friendly. Wait?! I haven't reviewed Razors yet? This is actually a "regular" haunt of mine, and for someone who likes variety that is rare. Well of course, with a hair experience, you can't just trust this to anyone. As a guy it is sometimes forgotten that our hairstyles can be messed up drastically too, but I guess in most cases we can grow out and re cut pretty fast. Nevertheless, go for consistency. You get your money's worth with an assured hairstyle, friendly hospitality (cheerful staff, complimentary "stuff," shoulder massage), and an overall good experience. I went in for a quick cut after calling around and trying to get into 3 different salons. I walked in without an appointment or call and can honestly say that being blown off by the other salons was a blessing! I have never walked away from a salon so happy. I went in expecting to be turned away and told this was a mens salon and walked away with the best highlight and cut of my life. ..no joke. Kelly, the owner, not only is extremely welcoming but talented. I came in a brunette with unhealthy hair and an awful length of bleach blonde hair... may I note left by the previous hair dresser 8 weeks ago in an attempt to leave the length and "health". I walked away with amazing blonde (!!!!) highlights, a healthy length and no longer do I have a random random blonde tips. In addition, it was quick. I just moved to Denver a few months ago and was in dire need of a haircut. My boyfriend went to Kelly for a trim and came back raving about her, so I booked an appointment and crossed my fingers she was just as good with women's hair as she was with men's (my bf's hair looked awesome!). Kelly exceeded my expectations for both price and quality of the cut. I didn't give her a ton of detail-just said I wanted some layers and a more interesting look without taking too much length off. Kelly more than delivered and had an incredible attention to detail. As I was getting ready to pay, she noticed a few imperfections when my hair was against the lighter sweater I had on underneath the cape and proceeded to spend another 5-10 minutes making sure my hair was absolutely perfect. I moved to Denver from the East Coast, so my hair has also been suffering as it adjusts to the dryness out here! Kelly managed to blend in or trim away all the fried looking ends of my hair without sacrificing the look of the cut. I walked by and scheduled my appointment for the next morning. Andrea was already there when I arrived and gave me a great hair cut. She is amazing at hair, great place to hang - good atmosphere and cool art on the walls. Small place so its real intimate and fun to get to know the staff. I would call before you come instead of walking in. but they do take walk ins. She does a lot of mens hair, but I am pretty easy and do whatever and different stuff each time. I followed Daniele over from her previous stylist digs and for good reason: She is warm, friendly, fun, and incredible at cutting hair. I'm extremely picky and she's always been patient with each one of my "suggestions" always working to give me exactly what I want. The place itself is also beautiful. Small and intimate, most of the times it's just you and the stylist having a great conversation, sipping wine while enjoying a great cut! Much different than the music blasting frenzy of, say, Floyd's. I'm lucky to not only have Daniele as a great sylist but a great friend, too. Highly recommended. read more

So, if you look through my past reviews, you guys can clearly see that I'm a freak about my hair. Super picky and never really 100% satisfied. I go to a place for a bit and then whoever I'm used to will do something a little off and I can't stand it. Needless to say-I was a bit hesitant to try something new, but leaned into these Yelp reviews and the 5 stars that Razor Sharp Cuts had. I walked in last week, apparently at the perfect time, and Danielle sat me down in the chair. I felt like she really listened to what I was looking for (and checked out a picture just to make sure we were on the same page- told you I was a freak about it.) I actually didn't want the trop trimmed because I had a big event and was afraid it would be too short and SHE ACTUALLY DIDN'T TRIM IT- AMAZING. Most salons will be like "okay, we won't trim it" and then you go home looking 2" shorter by some miracle. Let me just tell you- that girl knows how to do a fade like I've never seen a fade done on my head. I've received countless compliments this week- one from another hair stylist (stranger) that came up to me and asked me all about where I got it cut. The only complaint I had is that the salon pup barked and it scared her and she jumped with the razor in her hand, while shaving, and I thought for sure I'd have a bald patch. But, at the same time, I think it's awesome that they have a salon dog so I'm not sure how negative I feel about this. The best part? AWESOME HAIR CUT and you're paying no more than you would at Floyd's or somewhere else. I'll be back and we shall see how it goes! read more

I have been back to Daniele a total of three times now and only hope she never moves away! As a guy, I was not really sure my hair could look much different based on my stylist. I've been getting my hair cut for a while now at Razors. Renee is fantastic! She always greets me with a hug and always remembers our past conversations--no matter how long. I really appreciate the small stuff. As for the cut, she's definitely experienced and always does an awesome job! While some May thing the salon is kind of small, I really like it! Kelly cut my husband's hair for years. I used to go another salon. When my regular hair dresser was away, someone else there cut my hair. I had it short and she refused to cut the back as short as I wanted! She liked it better her way! So I went to Kelly. She fixed the cut the way I wanted it and has done color and cuts for me every since. Kelly has a real talent for cutting hair and does a great job with foil highlights.
