I moved to Colorado from Texas and had a hard time finding a place that could do blonde highlights well. I've been going to Vida Salon for a while now and Ada does a fantastic job! What I love about Ada is that she is okay with silence. If you have gotten highlights before you know these can be long appointments. I love that she doesn't feel like we need to chat the whole time. Ada has worked with me through pregnancy and motherhood and has created a look that I can wear up in a ponytail on a busy day or blown out for an event. Ada always takes detailed notes on our appointments so she knows what she did the last time and what formula she used. I love that she is so technical. I feel like I can rely on her for a highlight that is beautiful and consistent every time. Keep up the good work Ada! read more

I just used this Groupon coupon at the Cherry Creek location and the stylist Siam (?) completely made a mess of my daughter's hair color. My daughter (15) was getting her hair done as a treat and left bursting into tears and showed me the top of her head. It looks choppy with different colors and lines all over the place. I'm going to now have to pay to have it corrected (which won't be cheap). DON'T assume (like I did) that this salon is reputable as it is in Cherry Creek. It is NOT! In addition, the owner asked (through his receptionist) to see pictures and then said I could get a refund through Groupon. They would not issue a refund and the business will not issue a refund! This is appalling. No apology (as others have said) and no attempt to offer a refund for poor service. Buyer, beware! read more

Do not go here! You will be fooled by the location and think this is a safe place to go to. Everything about this place was off. This is not a "Cherry Creek" level of service (they do give you a glass of champagne if that matters to you). I asked for an ashy balayage. Stephanie is very rude and blamed me for everything wrong with my hair after she messed up my hair. After I asked her why my hair turned orange and uneven the next day after visiting the salon, she told me "I told you it would turn orange right away." I paid $350+ for this service and gave her a generous tip. Here is what I see: -Low quality technique -Choppy hair cut , it looks like a dog ate parts of my hair -uneven chunks of color. Some thick,thin, and some have nothing at all -light and darker colors Although I was upset about my hair results, I was even more disappointed about the customer service here. When I was giving Stephanie a second chance to fix it and I tried to explain what I saw in my hair she blamed me for: 1.being 5 minutes lates even after I accommodated her reschedule 2. It was my fault my hair was orange 3. She told me it was my fault for parting my hair differently (this made no sense because a professional salon will make your hair look good up, down, half up/ half down, straight etc) -she was raising her voice at me and not being empathetic about how unconfident my hair made me feel -she tried to pull the "you were being rude since the first day you came in." This is not true as we had a great conversation the day of. The way she curled it that day made the bad colors not show and I couldn't see the choppy haircut until the next day. -she left me talking and went to hide in the back. Hair is important! Don't give this place a chance. Trust me! These pictures don't justify what it looked like in person. Customer service is important. The customer service here is the worst I've ever experienced. WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER!! First time was ok. I conferred with the stylist and she listened. The second time, she did her own thing and turned my highlights and lowlights into a head of fried platinum blond hair. When I went back the next day to have her do what she could to fix her mistakes, she said she was going to charge me $150. When I questioned the guy at the cash register (co-owner?) he concurred. It will take months to undo the damage of having my hair colored two days in a row. The color is all wrong! No definition between highlights and lowlights. No apology. Went for a blowout for a gala I was in town for. Wry over priced - $85 for what I was promised when booking for be a blowout styled with brushes as opposed to blowing straight and curling. I asked about this when booking because they charge by the hour instead of flat fee, I offered to show up with clean dry hair if they would just be using curling iron and was told that my stylist preferred to blow and curl with brushes which is my preference but hard to find outside NY. I arrived in time but waited 20 minutes, and the stylist blew my hair straight and then cured with curling iron. I walked out with a style I could have done better myself- $85 plus tip. read more

This review is for Adan. I came to him after a terrible experience with someone else that left my hair in a state of terror. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but it was bad. I was in tears as my hair had been ruined by this person and I was afraid I'd have to cut it all off. Fortunately Adan came to my rescue. He was able to fix my hair to the point that nobody would ever know it was so terrible before. I was very grateful for him and what he did for me. My hair still looks great 6 weeks later. Avoid. Had an appointment on the books for 4 weeks with Ada. As I was heading to the appointment, I was contacted by phone by the salon and informed that my appointment was delayed for an hour. Not good. The stylist obviously added another customer and pushed me back on a Friday night. This is not a MDs office. She had total control of her schedule. I canceled the appointment and saw another stylist the following day. No apologies from Ada. Previoulsy, I have sat in the salon while my hair color set and listened to Ada use the "F---" word in conversation with others. Dont need to be part of that. A tad low rent. I have finally found my go to for all beauty/spa needs. The staff here is wonderful and attentive and I enjoy being in the space. Eloise gives the most amazing facials - I have never had such clear, smooth and even toned skin EVER. I can't believe she straightened my skin out like that in one sitting by simply using aveda products. She is a must see for facials. Blair is my stylist, I go to her for everything from color to blow outs. I wish I could see her more than I do because she keeps my hair looking so fresh!
