We needed to replace carpet in 2 bedrooms as part of getting our house ready for sale. I went into the Cedar Park location on Saturday, and got a good recommendation for carpet and took home a sample. Decided it would look good, and they came out and measured on Tuesday. Called me promptly with the quote and got on the schedule for Friday. A team of 4 arrived right on time, ripped out the old stinky carpet and had the new carpet installed in less than an hour. Could not recommend them highly enough! PJ made shopping for new floors stress free and budget friendly and I couldn't be happier with what we chose! Flooring warehouse was the fourth place I had gotten an estimate from and they beat out all the other three (Home Depot, Lumber Liquidators, and the Floor Store) by almost $1000 for higher quality material! Anyone thinking about redoing their floors should check them out and ask for PJ! Not only are the quoted samples including installation but the crew will rip up your old stuff, dispose of it, and move your furniture out of the way PLUS put it back AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! PJ is way too busy and has too few supervisors to properly complete a job in the time that was bid. He had to come back 4 (FOUR) times to finish! And some of the work was so bad, I couldn't believe they even did it - like quarter round at a corner with a 3 inch gap! PJ said he could do a job a certain way and then it turned out it couldn't be done! Not only that, but the specific things on the job estimate were not completed as specified - sloppy work! read more

Rude! My husband and I were driving past and saw a sign so we decided to stop in. We just bought a house and need to remodel the whole thing. We had hoped to check out their tile and wood. As we were about to go in my 6 month old baby got hungry so I decided to feed him in the back seat. The car was running with the air co,ditioner on as it was 100 degree outside. I can see that it looked wierd so when the baby finished I got out of the car with him and told them I needed to feed the baby. 2 people whom I assume were the owners informed me I was on private property. I told them that I had been planning on going in to look at their stock but that I would spend my money elsewhere. As I was putting the baby in his carseat the heavyset guy called someone on his cell phone while staring at the car. We think he called the cops on us. What the heck?! Avoid at all costs! read more

These guys are GREAT!!! First, they were quick to respond to emails and got me a quote, which was very competitive. I liked PJ(the guy that came out to measure), and Alexis(answered my phone calls) and what they recommended. Once I signed the contract and put down my deposit, I got on the books about a week later. Their workers came out on time and got everything done within 4 days, which was quicker than promised. The work was great, but what stands out to me most was the followup. I didn't know what to expect in terms of tiles and how perfect they should be. I reached out to PJ again about one very small issue I had. Well, the next day the guys were out here again to fix it. This is how businesses should be run! No one is perfect, but to be able to stand behind your work and even come back out to tweak one minor issue is awesome. I 100% recommend flooring warehouse. (FYI-they recommended to me dustless cleaners, which makes the demo as clean as possible...costs slightly more, but is def worth it) read more

Leo from Flooring Warehouse came to measure our carpets but upon entering our home refused to take his shoes off. He said he would either have to keep his shoes on or leave. I explained we don't wear shoes inside to keep our home clean for our toddler. He decided to leave and walk away from $1600+ of business. It was a huge waste of time not to mention rude. Extremely disappointed. Luckily we found another business who gladly took off their shoes and did our measurements the same day. read more

I have never felt the need to post a rewiew until now, I support local businesses. Shop Austin, Shop Local!!! I am a salesman who manages a sales team. It takes one angry sales person to taint the reputation of a business, but to have another representative smile and act as if it is okay to be treated rudely without respect from said person speaks for the low standards this company sets.. If you want customer service go down the street to people who care. If you want a low ball price, you may have found the right place. I for one am willing to pay for respect and customer service!!!! I recently went to Flooring Warehouse on a friend's recommendation. A man who said he was almost blind tried to help me. After much time and his inability to find me what I wanted, a lady helped him. Several days later, I called to have a couple of questions asked and to set up home consulatation. I had the untimley pleasure of becoming aquainted with Leo, one of the rudest abrupt narsassitic salesman I have spoken to. Once he heard that I had been in, I was quickly told that the gentleman was no longer with the company (not a surprise) and that i could reach the lady by phone. Click!!! I was astonished and thought that maybe I had misrepresented the reason for the call and called back. Again Leo treated me with total disrespect, was loud to all but shouting,and beyond rude. He told me to go to Floors and Decor for my fireplace tile! (SHOCK!) He implied that the other sales person had given me bad informantion and that I was unable to think with equalibrium. The following day I returned my samples to the lady. She was surprised when I told her that I would not be needing their services after the way I had been treated. She did apologize and assurred me that it was an exception or a bad day. Someone who I assume was the owner walked in and she introduced the matter to him. He had a big grin and defended Leo's rude behavior to, "That's just the way Leo is!!!" "I can help you!" WHAT?? NO THANKYOU! An apology would have been nice! NO, it was clearly permissible for the staff to lack customer service!!! You would think the owner would have been embarassed of this misuse of power but to almost laugh about it! My instinct was to fight rudeness with rudeness. I considered whether it was worth a debate and decided to calmly walk away and take my business and money down the street. I found someone who came out the next day at no charge, sold me the product I wanted and finsihed the installation professionally. I spent over $ 7000.00 on my 1800 ft of laminate and am planning on re doing my fireplace, kitchen splash and bathrooms at Flohr. I have relayed this insident to the contractor who referred me. (I don't think he will be putting his reputation on the line again.) In all fairness if you are looking to purchase something in a hurry low cost is a factor, then this is the place. Be aware walking in: You get what you pay for. Low price=low customer service!!!! BTW my contractor tells me that this company is owned by Carpet Warehouse and has other stores with good reviews One person allowed to mistreat customer's can ruin a company's reputation. My opinion, my story, my misfortune, my dissappointment, my waste of valuable time. Do you want Leo's customer service??? You decide what is important. To the owners and Leo: Good salesmanship requires good "people" Skills, empathy, sincere interest in the customer including listening to the customer! Don't patronize your customer by being condenscending. You may have product knowledge but don't insult them by being dismissive and talking down to them, remain cool under pressure. As a salesman, I know that there are some people you can never please and there are those you should consider firing as cleints but the rest are mostly all right and just want you to see their side of things. Is that a lot to ask for??? If you are not happy dealing with customers, it may be time to move on ro another place and find another occupation! Again my opinion. You decide!!!! read more

I worked with PJ on installing new bamboo floors in my condo and they turned out great!

So Ikea wood laminate flooring: we installed it in our living room years ago, and then when we went back to do the bedrooms, they had changed the color entirely ( not the name of the flooring, just the color!). So we had two bedrooms in a pretty ash blonde and the living room in a yellow blonde. Very noticeable difference! So a month ago, we set out to find flooring that matched the newer, pretty ash blonde bedroom wood laminate. Ikea does not sell flooring anymore! And they had no information on who manufactured it, even. So we went to Several local flooring dealers. At least the one in LaFronterra shopping center was friendly. We tried Lowe's and Home Depot, too. And a couple of the places were like, "Ughhh, we don't carry Anything like Ikea's flooring..." Even though we saw they had several options that matched the yellow-blonde we had in the living room but didn't want. So. Onto Flooring Warehouse on Burnet Road. They were a breath of fresh air after all those other places. Ric immediately took 1/2 our sample piece we had left over from doing the bedrooms and said he was pretty sure he knew the manufacturer of it!!! That gave us hope. Within a week, he got a sample to us from Mohawk and the color was waaaaaay closer to the ash blonde, same tone, just different dye lot, and it was the same manufacturer so the wood laminate pieces were the same widths, heights, and depths! We were beyond relieved. Now all our wood laminate actually matches :-P. Their estimate was Very fair, especially considering we asked them to also install new tile we had bought already from Lowes and Home Depot in our guest bath and kitchen while they were redoing the living room, a couple closets, and the last bedroom that needed wood laminate. They had it ordered within a week and Everything installed in 1 1/2 days, despite that it was raining. They were very professional: we have a huge stone fireplace that they cut into at its base so they could lay the wood laminate just under it, looks beautiful, and they changed where the living room laminate ends and the kitchen tile begins- it changed the feel of the entire space, makes it feel so much bigger & brighter! Their tile job was perfect, looks gorgeous and is level. We are very happy with their customer service, their knowledge, and their installation job. We'll be using them in the future, after we sell our home next spring. read more

Recently completed a fairly large (3,500 F2) home flooring update with engineered wood and carpet. Worked with PJ, Ric, Tim, Ashley and their 'A' Team of installers. Don't under estimate Floor prep: it's key to a successful install. And this job turned out to be quite more challenging than any of us expected. I have no doubt that the proposal didn't fully account for the extra prep materials (perhaps not even close), but Ric delivered...literally. He drove to San Antonio to pick up stock that wasn't available locally. He even bought extra material from other distributors at a premium to make the job happen in a timely manner. They even brought in the sales Rep from the prep manufacturer to train and oversee and train for correct installation. Seriously! And I would be remiss if not extolling the quality, care and concern of their 'A' Team hardwood installers--Edgar & Javier. In short, although this job(and to be honest, me as well) was a bit exacting, the team at Flooring Warehouse earned their 5 stars and more if available. The outcome exceeded our expectations and have no doubt that their work and service for other customers will provide similar levels of customer satisfaction. Bravo! read more
