This is our third time coming to floor & decor and the employee josh has shown great customer service. He is very helpful and always willing to help. He's very knowledgeable on the department of flooring. Josh has an excellent personality, from what I can see he really enjoys his job. This kind of personality makes you feel like you are welcomed to the store. I suggest you look for josh when you come to floor & decor in Downey because he's excellent. He deserves a raise!!! read more

I gotta tell you how happy I am with this place. I've been to a bunch of places looking for tile for my bathrooms and fireplace. Went to one place in L.A. that I thought would give me some good prices,(especially since they said discount tiles) fell in love with one tile for my fireplace. Then I looked at the price and quickly walked away. Then visited Floor & Decor about a month later still unsatisfied from my searches and found the exact same tile almost 8 times lower the price! I snatched it up right away. I would have gotten all the tile that I needed in the same day but wouldn't fit in my car. Isaac at Floor & Decor was extremely helpful to me and also gave me ideas that I hadn't even thought about. THANK YOU!! Maybe I shouldn't be writing this review! People might catch on and then the prices will go up! auuughhh! read more

The store is great, has good items and variety, but the customer service SUCKS!! We asked for help more than three times from different associates and nobody helped. One associate even turned her back when speaking to her. We had to load up the tile ourselves until a girl came and helped us. It wasn't until checking out that someone helped us out. The girl at the register had an attitude. I will not be coming back to this location again. read more

So I called 5 Floor and Decor stores including Corporate and online services, no one was able to help me find some receipts I was looking for for the past couple of days. Finally Cynthia from the Downey location pro team was able to help me and she really went out of her way because I know what i asked was difficult. She provided me with solutions that even managers were to busy to think of. Thank you so much you really made my day!!! I would give you 20 stars if I could!! read more

Me and my husband are redoing our house and I came across this store. They have a great selection of flooring and all the tools we needed. We bought 60 cases of our floor and one box came damaged, we returned the same day and they made the whole experience pleasant and easy. We will definitely be coming back read more

This review is for Diana! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! She exceeded all my expectations. I needed a lot of tile boxes to finish a project for my floors at home. I couldn't find them at any of the local "Floor and Decor" stores. She got on the phone and called other stores and was immediately able to find the other 23 boxes that I needed. She was literally God sent. We really needed the boxes as the floors were halfway done. Thank you Diana for being super helpful and sweet! read more

I would strongly advise against getting your flooring from this store. We bought a floor for our new home, and our professional installer let us know this product was defective. It was breaking apart and was useless. We immediately contacted floor and decor. They gave me an incorrect email to contact. I called again and got another number to call, they gave me another person to contact. This process took weeks. AT no time did they advise us to not remove the portion of defective floor that was attempted to be placed in the home. It also would have been a financial nightmare to wait weeks to have the floor "inspected" by their so called professionals. After several emails asking for photos, a receipt from our inspector among other numerous questions we had to answer, they NOW tell us they will denying our claim. So we are out of the cost of floor and had to purchase a new floor, plus the time and labor. So just a word of warning before you purchase faulty flooring from this place. You could end up spending twice as much for a little bit of a bargain. I would have much rather gone to a store I knew had a better reputation. read more

This place gets busy and they really need a new checkout system. I am there frequently and the service has been so so.

So far we have made four different purchases from this specific store. We are remodeling, so we bought tile for our fireplace, shower, and foyer. Our last purchase was hardwood flooring. They have very reasonable prices and have a huge selection. Most importantly, everything that we have purchased so far was in stock at their location. The store is huge, clean, and well stocked. We drive approximately 18 miles to get to this store when there are other tile places within 5-10 miles of us. We have another tile place that we buy from for the more exotic and unique tile, which tends to be way more expensive. We chose Floor & Decor for the more reasonably priced items. Most of the store is filled with floor & wall tile. In addition, they carry back splash tile, kitchen counter tops, and hardwood flooring but they also have a section that sells some of the tools and material for installing the tile and hardwood. They have plenty of parking and a lot of available staff to assist you in the store. They will also help you carry your items outside and load into your car if needed. The last time we were there, the manager Elliot, personally helped me load 50 boxes of hardwood flooring into my truck when he was already handling other situations within the store. He was very nice about it and he made sure to explain how to take care of the hardwood that we purchased. I really appreciated his expertise and patience. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for home projects. read more

They had the best selection of hardwoods and bamboo than anyone else. I selected the hand scraped bamboo and love it. Th installers were terrific and did a great job. read more

We came in and had questions on a floor laminate we wanted. Gerson helped us, explained the pros and cons of waterproof versus resistant, laminate versus vinyl, and gave us daily updates on when it might arrive. Due to COVID-19 shipping delays, we had to buy from the Rancho Cucamonga store that opens tomorrow as it was immediately needed. He helped us find out how many cases they had and gave us their hours to make sure we'd get our flooring in time. Gerson is great! read more

When you have an employee named Jonatan on your team, you have the best employee helping your customers. We were lost with our Installation made easy shopping list. We had our tile picked out we just did not know where to go from there. I asked Jonatan for help and he took over without blinking. He made sure we had the right products for our backsplash. And even suggested a product to preserve the color of the tile. Which was not on our list and it was nice that he looked after us. Thank you Jonatan you are the best we have encountered there and this was our 2nd installation this year. read more

Great selection and decent prices. Rene was super helpful. An absolute delight to work with and very informative. Definitely exceeded our expectations and will be back for our future projects. read more

We are remodeling a bathroom and I really didn't know what tile to choose or what I even wanted. I was really anxious about making choices I would later regret. I didn't know you can make an appointment with a designer, and when I overheard a customer say she was there for her appointment I asked if I could meet with a designer too, luckily one was available. Matt was amazing! He gave me ideas that I never thought of, and explained how everything could work together. I feel confident this bathroom will turn out better than I had expected. read more

I decided to visit this store for the first time because many people have been telling me to go Floor and Decor because they have the best selection when it comes to flooring, etc. Shockingly, the front of the store was setup as a fortress. I assumed they would be practicing social distancing inside the store, but they're not because they are not letting anyone inside. I was told to go online and look at what they have and order it, or if I know the SKU they can pull it and bring it to the front. How crazy is this?? This concept doesn't work or make sense to me. if I want to see big items or design concepts in person this doesn't work. I get what they are doing due to the pandemic. I think they should practice what Lowe's and Home Depot are doing by letting a certain amount of people at a time. It's working! F&D are losing a lot of unnecessary business. I'm absolutely disappointed and frustrated!!! read more

address is wrong so i called and was instructed to use address as 12144 Lakewood Blvd in Downey. Good thing it's not that far from Apollo way. This place is the Ikea of tiles, wood & stone floors. I went to the Downey store and I have to say I have never had such great customer service from a home improvement store. I started in the laminate section and was helped by Abraham who was knowledgeable and helped arrange for a labor estimate for installation. On to the stack stone dept where Brent helped me and even carried around the stone sample and helped me pick tile for the hearth. He never seemed irritated with my questions or indecisiveness. He was awesome! Then I went to checkout and was helped by Meshay who was sweet as can be!
