I have brought several items for them to frame over the past three years, and they never disappoint. They are very professional and listen to how you want your item to look. They are also familiar with the "Certificate of Authenticity Stickers" and understand not to tamper with them. Prices are competitive with other shops, and honestly, even if they weren't, I would still bring my business because of their quality of work. Thank you for providing excellent customer service; I will keep coming back to you. read more

Such a great family run shop. I have been a customer since they were located in Downey and followed them to the Bellflower location. Honest professional and dependable work. Your artwork as well as your concerns are respected. read more

This frame store is amazing. I have had him do many historical items framed, and may have turned out perfect perfect. I would recommend this place 100%. read more

Custom frames are not cheap. Custom frames for sports jerseys are super NOT cheap so I called around for the best quote in the OC area. Arturo's quote was very competitive so I decided to bring my Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic autographed jerseys and a Luka Doncic autographed poster. He was very professional and provided recommendations as to what border and color will work best for the jerseys and poster. He was very patient with me and I could tell that he's done this for a very long time. I decided to go borderless for the jerseys but double matte border for the Luka poster. The results were spectacular (see it for yourself). Everything was professionally put together and Arturo made the jerseys so that it popped in the frame. The jerseys didn't look sloppy at all and the frame feels very sturdy. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer. If you're in need of a professional frame job, look no further! read more

They do an amazing job of stretching, framing, and providing customer service. Be advised that it is not cheap, but I think all framing companies are relatively expensive. read more

Arturo is true professional! His shop is amazing, he has 43 years of experience and truly has an eye for art. He knows how to guide you based on your style, how it will fit in your house, and how much of the art you want to bring out. What I really appreciated was that he wasn't afraid to tell you when something didn't look good (sometimes my suggestions on frames and mats can be over the top and folks are afraid to tell me it's too much so I end up unhappy withh the unfinished product). He'll tell you why but use that to find something that will still compliment the piece while appealing to your vision! Not only that but he's fast! I was able to get maybe 5 pieces decided upon in an hour which at every other shop I've been to, it would take 1 hour per piece. He offers transparent pricing and I'll tell you that I was quoted by 5 other places (4 in long beach and 1 in costa mesa) and they were all really unjustly expensive despite the "affordability" they advertised. I've gotten frames done from michales, allen jefferies, art-to-frame.com, the framestore, and 2 other small shops (one in mid city and the other in highland park) so I know a thing or two about what framing can cost and have had different experiences with each. This place and service is by far my favorite! Arturo went above and beyond for me in every way and I trust my pieces are in good hands. This is a true small business that is honest, run by a family man, offers fast service, and never tries to sell you on something you don't need. I won't be going anywhere else to frame! I'll post more pictures once the frames are complete. read more

Great service, reasonable pricing. Loved the suggestions on my custom framing. Always a great experience!

Great work. The Man as been in business for a while now. You pay for what you get and it's beautiful framing at its best.

Art was very friendly and made great suggestions for my two frames. His prices are very reasonable and delivered when he said he would. I will be bringing more of my poorly-framed artwork for upgrades! read more

Just found this place through Yelp and he definitely deserves all the 5 stars! Art was accommodating with my budget and also gave input with what works for the piece that you want to get framed. When he says it will be ready in a certain date, it will be ready on or before. I will only trust Art and his shop for all my framing needs. read more

Had a snafu with my order but store was responsive. It came out very nice. The frame is beautiful.

This place is fantastic, and the owner, Arturo, is a terrific person that will help you find the right style to frame your art piece. I came in to ask of the options, and "Art" was tremendously helpful and friendly. I got an estimate, which was WAY better than Aaron Brothers, and a few days later, came back with my canvas print. He analyzed the canvas print and identified what could have been done to improve the work done. In addition to choosing the right frame, he recommended tightening the print onto the wood supports, and also said he would add additional support....at no additional cost. He said it would be ready in about a week. I dropped off my piece confident and assured it was in good hands. A week passes, and we come pick it up, and my wife and I are so happy to see the beautiful gold Liso frame with the tightening of the canvas (restapling) and added support. We had a large piece, 32" x 40" and the work and craftsmanship was beautifully done. There was no damage to our piece, and it came with the corners protected with cardboard, and good to go. The price was very good. A few months ago, we went to Aaron Brothers/Michaels to get a quote. Obviously, you need to take advantage of the coupons offered, but even then, the pricing doesn't even come close to what Art offers. The same look and style is double at Aaron Brothers/Michaels, and that's if they offer coupons and there's a special sale on it. You won't know when that'll happen, and you're going to overpay at AB/M. Go to Art and get the estimate. He's an honest and friendly guy who will give you great quality craftsmanship. FIVE STARS for sure!!!!! read more

I have been coming here for custom frames for over 20 years. I was heart broken when they left Downey. But it is well worth the short drive. Their prices are more than fair. Family owned. WONDERFUL service! Can't say enough about the time they spend helping you get your frame, matting just right. And the service is also quick. I won't go anywhere else! read more

Just another example of the beautiful framing work completed by Art & Frames Custom Picture Framing! I found this Japanese print on Offer Up. It came with a frame, however, the glass was cracked and the gold frame was damaged. The business owner (Art) and I selected this frame which had an oil rubbed bronze look and I love it! Thanks again Art! We are so pleased with the outcome of your work! read more

At this point I think I've framed 7 or 8 pieces here and each time the process is incredibly simple. They walk you through all of your available options without making things overwhelming. They offer suggestions as obviously they've been framing art for quite a while and have a knack for what's going to look good for your work and where it's going to go in your house/business/etc. The pricing is incredibly competitive and much better than you'll find at any online frame shop and most of the all the quality of the framing is superb. I'm incredibly happy with everything I have in my office now all of which was done at Art & Frames Custom Picture Framing. For any new art I pick up this will be the place I go to get it framed. read more

I've been using them for more years than I'm sure of. A wonderful family owned business with a great heart that they put into each project they do. No matter how small, like a reframe or a big one with a lot of moving parts to it and multiple mats. I'll share some new photos when the 3 pieces we just picked up are hung. We moved a few more zip codes away but until it's 50 miles, I will always chose them. read more

I was calling around to check how much it would cost to get a print of mine framed. When I called this location, Arturo picked up and he was very friendly and answered all my questions. He told me he would be able to get my print ready the same day without any additional fees. I decided to go in person and was assisted right away. The frames are very good quality and I got one for a discount. Arturo did a great job on framing my print. He did not try to push me to do additional things to my frame as he knew I was on a budget. This was the cheapest place I called and I ended up with a good deal. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone trying to get their art piece framed. They have many options and designs for framing and the quality and service is great. read more

Great service.....they are the best. I got my diploma framed there and I couldn't have asked for better service. I'm glad I came here

My first review of this framing shop was in 2016, so this is just an update. And just as good if not better than the first. This time I brought in a stunning picture of Secretariat, in my opinion the greatest American athlete of all time. It took me forever to find the photo so I wanted it mounted and framed just exactly so. And it was. I am not a horse person (don't ride, don't go to races, etc.) nor are my friends, but all of us appreciate greatness and looking at this most excellent picture of this great horse in this most excellently framed presentation -- it's nothing less than breathtaking. Art, shop owner, and I puzzled about frame selection until he reached up and picked the right one. With all the possible frames available it can be a confounding task: you think you can see it as a finished product but you can never be sure. Art was pretty sure -- and he was spot on. Do what I do: trust his judgment, his experience and his eye for color. He hasn't been wrong yet and this is my 4th framing job -- all of them very very excellent. Money well spent. read more

Bertha Brown 6/2/18 Art moved to Bellflower a couple of years ago and we have seen his work periodically and his creations were assume. Since moving to the area a year ago, I've taken 5 or 6 drawings and paintings here to be framed... I am not planning on ever going anywhere else. The owner (I think?) spent more than 20 minutes today helping me find the exact right color of matting for my watercolor painting. I've paid nearly twice as much at other framing stores for the same or lower quality. They do a great job here and are very friendly! I would highly recommend this business! read more
