One note: I was super impressed with the Francis Retail website which made it easy to see all the furniture that was in stock. I set up an appointment for my boyfriend and I to try out the couch. We were very impressed by the selection and quality at the Francis Retail warehouse. It was easy to get to and in a nice area with a decent amount of parking (parking lot not street). We purchased a Mira sectional and we absolutely love it. In addition, we also got a Grand Leisure Nogales Glider which was perfect for our patio. Fadi is a great salesman and helped us find the best furniture to fit our space. Both pieces were delivered the next day and the delivery men were super careful and even assembled both pieces for us! I went to the restroom to wait, but she did absolutely nothing, and my daughter kept saying she was about to have an accident. So, I asked for the code next time, but she said no--she had to open it for me. I had to wait again, but my daughter couldn't hold it anymore, so I looked for someone else to open it for us (since there were three of us waiting by then). When the cashier saw me--I assume she saw me--she spoke over the intercom telling someone to open the restroom. I mean, couldn't she have done that from the start? They really need to improve that arrogant attitude--acting as if they're doing us a favor. The cashier's name is Claudia, and I think the owners should look into this; it is inhumane to make a little girl wait when she can barely control her bladder. This happened today, September 20, between 11 AM and 12 PM.

The first of two Goodwill Store & Donation Center that we stopped in while visiting Norwalk, this…read morelocation provided a large selection of well-sorted clothing items. It's a large store inside, allowing a lot of space to shop without being on top of each other. It's set-up very similar to a Marshall's, though with mostly used items that were still in good shape. Prices have definitely jumped since when I grew up with Goodwill, with reselling and thrifting of vintage items driving up prices, though sometimes an item can be badly overpriced because of aggressive pricers (think of a store like Savers). My wife has a bit of experience in the matter, and she ended up buying more than a few items from here (stating that the prices were good). It did have other non-clothing sections (electronics, books, toys) but those areas were smaller, though I did find quite a few stuffed animals in the toy section. Nothing for me this time, though having a large electronics and books section can keep me occupied while the others clothes shop.

I always get lucky shopping here. Great selection of dresses and everything is well organized by…read moresize. I scored on the Free People boots and purses. They have four fitting rooms available to use. Sadly when I asked if they had shopping carts she said they only had one.
