I was looking for Saltillo and hand painted Talavera tile. This place has both along with so many other items! Hands down, the best inventory. They have a warehouse in the back and every item is authentic. Most likely surrounding businesses get their stock from this location. If you are looking for authentic handcrafted Mexican/Spanish tile and decor, just go here. Don't waste your time with other vendors that have limited inventory or need a day or so to "special order" what you want. Friendly services at very fair prices. Just returned home from my second visit to this tile shop. And I will NEVER return. I first ran into them at the Long Beach vintage swap meet. This a family owned business. The father and young man were manning their items, Mexican clay tiles and such. They were friendly and ended up buying five tiles that day. I was to visit their location in Whittier in a few weeks to purchase additional tiles. My first visit to their shop was on 7.10.21. Met Nicole and found her very friendly, helpful and even made suggestions to what I was looking for. Left the shop after purchasing 18 6x6 cobalt blue tiles and 13 6x6 L124 tiles. The initial visit was great. After arriving at home and inspecting the tiles, most of or close of all the cobalt tiles had surface scratches. Left a message along with my phone number for to call ball. Never did. Called again and was given instructions on what to do. Arrived at the shop, walked into the building and spotted Nicole. Her response was how can I help you? I started to describe my last visit and how she had assisted me. Her response was "I don't remember you, I help many customers!" On the first visit there was one other customer. Having spent close to an hour with a customer only eight working days prior, there should be some remembrance of the visit. After being instructed to visit the warehouse, a older men comes out, doesn't say one word, grabs the box from me. I tried to explain why the tiles were being returned. Takes the box and disappears into the warehouse. A few minutes later he reappears, places the replacement tiles in the counter and speaks and points "count, you count" walks away and sits down with two others. Seems he was pissed. Never going back and will not suggest. Definitely not worth the traffic and time. read more

Walking in, you will be surprised at the selection and breadth of what they offer. They also support local makers, which is awesome. Gon'z Decorations has an amazing display of Mexican art, tile, furniture, pottery and other items. Their amazing display of artwork is carefully and thoughtfully spread out through different rooms. Each room gives you an opportunity to look around and admire the Mexican culture. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. My order was immediately processed. I ended up going back for more tile. The pricing at this location was cheaper than the previous location I had gone to. The customer service at Gon'z Decorations was on point.
