This place has a really good selection of items, convenient parking, and overall is really clean and organized I've bought a few things from here that have lasted me a really long time, so I really do appreciate that That being said, every time I leave here (4 + times), I leave Feeling a bit odd - like they think I'm stealing or something. This last time I went, I was just mindin my business looking at everything, and I caught a glimpse of the worker, staring at me two or three times. One worker even took something from my hands, and told me that it would be waiting for me at the front. This is not something heavy, nor bulky. So I don't understand why they would take it for me. When I go to check out, I noticed the price I got rang up for was a different price than what I saw, the worker very politely explains that it must've been misplaced, and off to the side, I see the three workers kind of chuckle, like they assumed I placed it there on purpose and got caught? There are so many other stores like this in the area I would avoid coming to this one. They're very helpful when you first arrive however I came here to exchange a five dollar pair of earrings that I purchased 1 month ago. I just wanted an even swap since the one I purchased didn't have the hook to go in the ear and I was going to purchase five more pairs of earrings. But they wouldn't swap/exchange the one that I bought without a receipt. Mind you I spent over $70 when I first shopped here. They would've made more money because I would've bought more earrings and I would've come back for more of their merchandise but like I said, there's countless stores like this all around. If you are looking for the "old school Mexican" look of plates, cups, flower pots, etc this is the place for you. There is many color combinations and choices to choose from that it is difficult to make any decisions. We spent about an hour walking around in circles deciding what to take home. There is plenty of people working and willing to help you out. If you have any questions, do ask, as they sometimes have more items in back room somewhere. I did get a little anxious as everything looked so fragile and I didn't want to break anything. Overall it was a good experience. The prices you'll pay are obviously more than if you went to Mexico to purchase the items yourself, but when you factor in gas and other expenses it evens out. read more

I live locally to this business. I came a year ago before they became very popular and now they have more discounts than they did before. I bought a planter and didn't get a receipt when I paid cash. I didn't realize I didn't get a receipt in my bag either, long story short, I didn't want the planter. So the next morning I called the business and let them know that I wanted to even exchange it for another planter that I was quoted for when I was there. The spanish speaking lady told me to send her the picture of the planter, I did. No response. So I came in 25 minutes later and told her that I was the customer that called her. I showed her the new planter that I wanted to exchange for and she told me the one that I bought was $20, I was charged $25 and paid $25. The planter I wanted to exchange for was $25, she gave me a hard time and exchanged it for me after all. They're not consistent with pricing. She told me to make sure I ask for a receipt next time, I told her make sure you give your customers a receipt. I also found a nicer pot at Northgate up the street for $21. read more

With all honesty everything they have here is really good quality but the reason why i rate this place so low is for their false advertisement for not making there signs specific and clear. They over charge on credit cards or debit processing fees which I think it's against the law to charge 4% per item and not the total . There signs say a 4% processing fee is applied when paying with a card . But does not specify that it is per item . as a business women my understanding of processing fees when using a card is supposed to be charged on your subtotal and not individual items. It's ridiculous how they overcharge customers. Everything in there store is beautiful but somewhat of a scam of charging to much . This make me sad because not sure if other ppl noticed but I will be making a call to the city to make sure this is fair . read more

Once I got up to the counter I am told it excludes my Talavera guitar & Talavera bird bath & basically anything they feel like excluding. I walked the employee out to the sign and he did not care. He said it excludes a bunch of items. This is false advertising so I just left. I did tell him he needs to write a disclaimer on the sign and if they were honest, they would honor their sign. I asked multiple associates to make sure what the deal was before shopping and was misinformed until I reached checkout. Was a not so great experience was just told I was wrong and was I going to buy or not. Lesson- confirm with the cashiers at least times on their instagram specials. I picked up a couple of mugs and bull terrier. I have the bull terrier in my cubicle at work and I absolutely love it. I can't wait to come back. I purchased two clay pots from this place. They claim their clay pots are all for cooking. I cured them as I am supposed to do. When I started using them, I noticed my smaller pot gets a silver metallic residue on the inside and on the larger pot, the lid gets the same silver metallic residue. I called them and asked again if all their clay pots are for cooking and I was told yes for all their clay pots. I explained what was going on and I was told to send pictures to them. I sent pictures and they never got back to me. I became curious and bought lead test strips and tested the pots and turns out that silver residue has lead. Yes, it is a beautiful store but don't tell your customers that your pots are lead free or that can be used for cooking if they are not. read more

One of my absolute FAVORITE stores to go to. Everytime it's like an adventure because they're always changing things up inside. All the products are exquisite and fairly priced. Before I used to drive down to Mexico but now that I know about this place, I don't have to anymore. Yes it's a little bit cheaper in Mexico BUT when you factor in the time it takes to drive down, the time it takes to cross the border, and the time it takes to drive back PLUS the gas money, this is the better option. Also if you buy multiple items they'll give you a discount. This store sells all kinds of stuff like pots, statues, benches, fountains, tiles, and even street signs. I needed to have an extra set of street numbers to put up in front of my house. Yes, I could have gone with the standard stuff from Home Depot but since it's my house, I wanted something amazing. Lol. Sure enough, their products far exceeded my expectations. This store is very well organized and clean as you would expect since they have tons of goodies to see. The workers are EXTREMELY friendly and nice. For new years they put out free pastires, coffee, and other drinks for customers. Plus they had a raffle. How nice is that? One time I brought my family members to look at the fountains. My mom kept asking me about this particular fountain. A worker overheard our conversation. He went to the back, brought out the tubing, pump, etc to set it all up. Then he called us over to come see the fountain while it's on. Who does that? You think Home Depot will do that? You'll be lucky if the workers even look at you when you say hi to them. Hahahaha. I'm telling you I love love love this place. Everything is so colorful and happy. I brought my son here today to look for a gift. WOW! They have a new line that is beautiful. The people who work here are super nice and so helpful. They take great pride in the products they sell. I forgot to take pictures of the vast styles and sizes of tiles they offer and all at very good prices (you can get an idea of what they had in an older review I posted). They can be used for accents on stairs, walls, and the pool or exterior house number, as well as art projects (I saw many that can be made into coasters). I'm a Rams fan and to my surprise they have a Rams Navarro Lupita doll which I couldn't resist. You Dodgers fans are not left behind. There are some Dodger Lupitas too! I was glad to see their clientele is growing. Oh, and I saw some mini Nuestra Boda vases which can be used as a wedding favors or mini flower vases to add to the tables centerpiece. I don't know why, but when I'm in Casa Artesanal, I feel happy surrounded by all the bright beautiful colors.
