I've now visited about five times, and each time I've had a difficult experience with the same cashier. But after several visits, I've noticed that the short and unfriendly communication seems to be consistent (from this lady cashier). Note: the gentlemen who water the plants (are very kind). When I've had questions, I haven't felt comfortable asking for help because the responses are often very brief, and there doesn't seem to be much willingness to answer questions or explain things. I'm not expecting someone to know everything, but I do expect basic courtesy, especially at a nursery where customers may have different levels of knowledge about plants. I try to be kind and respectful when I ask questions, and unfortunately, that kindness hasn't felt reciprocated. I also think the nursery could do a better job of clearly marking prices. I only went in for a little bit(less than 8 minutes coz Hubby is hurrying me up. The staff are so friendly & helpful I saw sapodilla, mangoes, jujube, guavas, papayas, tamarind, and of course , mangoes right at the entrance. The prices are $$$ but what did you expect? It's not easy or quick to grow these amazing plants, trees-- otherwise we would all be doing it. I would love to visit when Hubby isn't hurrying me up

I am trying to teach her how things are done, we talked with Thomas once before and this time as the last time he was extremely helpful, and with his knowledge he really showed how simple things can be as long as you know what you are trying to do, and even as in this case that is not the fact... We purchase $80 worth of paint and she was very happy. I saw another women in there, and she was struggling trying to communicate what she is trying to accomplish, the person who was helping her was VERY patient and helpful, as I listened in on the conversation. So here it goes. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or gal, if you are not sure of what you are doing and how to go about doing it with regards to painting, come down to Dunn Edwards have all what you are trying to do in your mind or write it down, talk to these highly trained, skilled professionals, explain to them what you are trying to accomplish, oh PLEASE make sure you have your colors picked out... Then listen to what they are telling you, they will tell you what level of paint you should be looking to buy, and here is the hard part, TRUST them, you won't go wrong, that is the main part and the most important part. Then when you go home, get on U Tube enter Tutorial for painting interior, or exterior of residential home, and then start looking at the tutorials that are there and get some knowledge on how you should proceed. I asked if she could just try it and she wouldn't. I then asked to speak to someone else then she said she would try my sample. Guess what, my sample worked! She must have complained to the person about me in the back because I could hear them cussing. I'm glad I was persistent. I wish she would have just tried it, instead of arguing. she could have avoided this bad review.
