I found Magnolia and Willow Antique Collective while searching for things to check out in town. I…read moreimmediately started following them on social media to see their latest finds posted. This was my first trip to the shop, and it was great! It is way bigger than you'd initially think it is, which makes it such a fun way to spend a few hours exploring all the goodies in the shop. They have everything from clothes to silverware to home goods, vinyls, shoes, art, jewelry, and more. They wrap your items up with paper so they stay protected while you're transporting it home. Right now, they have their seasonal Christmas items up and available for purchase. The store can be difficult to get around depending on whether or not you have certain accommodations necessary for navigation. For example, no ramps inside despite some steps, and some of the spaces are fairly narrow. However, the store has a sign up that they're happy to try to help all customers access the store; you have to let them know if you need help. Overall, I found their prices to be fairly competitive. They do have sales which you can find out about via their Instagram page. They do not offer any discounts on items. They accept both cash and credit cards, but prefer cash. If you use a credit card, your minimum purchase must be at least $10 or else you incur a fee. If I read things right, they only accept Visa and Mastercard.

There is a great selection of items, but it's not a friendly experience when shopping. Owner or…read morecheckout manager is cold and unfriendly. Gave no apology for not being able to find an item they have listed online. It did not deter me from buying items I wanted but it did deter me from spending my usual haul amount at antiques/vintage stores. Just didn't feel like I wanted to shop more than necessary. Prices run on the higher side of items values.

This shop has a very cool vibe. It looks small from the outside, but it's a long store. It feels…read morelike it must have been a house at one time with all the separated, small rooms. It even has an outdoor area that could have been a backyard. When I first walked in, it felt like I was stepping back into the '70's. A lot of brown and orange hues. Once you pass the front counter on your left, you feel like you're stepping into someone's living room. There's a couch, coffee table, dial television set, and the record player is blasting '70's music from their collection of vinyl. The first room on the left sells clothes, plants, etc. The second small room next to it has a large picture of KISS plastered on the walls, between the selection of boots and jackets. If you keep walking towards the back, there's a room to your right where the record player is. After exiting that room, you walk into the main room and a large selection of vinyl for sale near the back. They sell used and new merchandise. Everything from used clothes to new jewelry, paintings, artwork, and everything in between. Like I said, there's a large outdoor patio where they sell patio furniture, pots, plants and other outdoor decoration. There is really a lot to take in, and everything is affordable. I saw something I liked that cost $9.50, but I asked myself where I was going to put it. The gal at the front counter was friendly. They take Apple Pay. Parking: Plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood.

Goods on Orange is this great vintage shop! And yes, this business should be categorized as GREAT…read more What they offer is all kinds of vintage items. You want clothing, they've got it. Jewelry, yup. You want trinkets, they've have it. You want truly unique art items, they have them, as well. You want an incredible selection of vintage LPs, they offer it. They have a little bit of everything, and it is all truly curated and unique. Located on Orange Avenue, in the Eastern section of Long Beach California, this business is a little bit off of the beaten path. It's actually a truly unique neighborhood. Though it's basically a residential area, there's a number of unique businesses right around Goods on Orange. So, you can easily grab a meal, or a coffee, or a little bit of something else once you come to the area this business is located within. Once inside, you are overwhelmed with a plethora of all kinds of everything. It's truly a visual experience to walk into this business. They have a lot of great everything. I can't say that enough, because you truly never know what you are going to find when you go in. The staff here are all super nice, so if you have any questions, they're happy to help you out with whatever they can. In terms of pricing, they're very fair. Sure, you can maybe find cheaper prices at a thrift store. But, at a thrift shop you're never guaranteed that you're will find the best of the best like is available at this business. And, that's what this shop offers, the best of the best. In terms of parking, street parking is your best bet. On weekends, you may have to walk a little bit, because, as stated, there is a number of other businesses directly surrounding Goods on Orange. But, it's a good way to get your steps in. Overall, if you're looking for that unique gift, that special something for yourself, or that something you never knew you needed, this is a great place to find it.

You're paying a bit more than you might at other places, but these items are cleaner and better curated for sure! They have a wide variety of items as well, and in all it was an enjoyable adventure. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a vintage bargain. :)

This thrift store is very well organized. Perhaps that's one of the most interesting things about it. They even have their clothing organized by size. So, this makes shopping for that vintage piece of clothing much easier. This is something that few other thrift stores do. And, it's really appreciated. Because, it makes the whole shopping experience, not only easier but more enjoyable. Beacon House has far more than just clothing, however. This shop is stuffed full of all kinds of everything else, from electronics, to kitchen goods, to musical items, to LPs, cassette tapes, pretty much anything you can think of, they've got something. As is the case with all thrift stores, the inventory at this business is constantly changing. So, going in here one day may be very different from going in the next day. You will never know what you're gonna find. And, that's what makes this business a really unique shopping experience. So, if you're one of those people that enjoy going to thrift shops, seeking out antiques, vintage items, discarded items that nobody really cared about, or pretty much anything else, this is a great place to go. Of all the thrift stores in the area, this is definitely one of the best.
