We visited the Lovesac store in Cerritos twice, once just me and my wife, and the next day with our kids to see how everything would fit. Both experiences were disappointing. The staff was rude and seemed uninterested in helping us, even though we were serious buyers and applied for the 24-month no-interest financing. On our second visit, our kids were well behaved, but a staff member very rudely told my daughter to stop going in and out because of a notification that sounds when someone enters the store, even though she wasn't being disruptive. Follow-up: We wound up going back and getting a Sactional. The price was more than we planned for a replacement sofa, but we liked that it was customizable for our smaller living room. It was a lot to assemble, but only a couple of hours on my own at a casual pace. We got a 3-seat couch with an extra for a storage ottoman. It's been several months and so far the cushions haven't lost their firmness (standard cushions, not the soft ones). The corded velvet covers have been excellent with hair and dirt from the dogs, and have had to come off a couple of times to be washed (including a full cup of hot chocolate). It's been easy aside from dry time (not supposed to go in the dryer). We've also had the opportunity to use the 4 seats as a bed in a square configuration. Roughly the size of a full/double bed and plenty comfortable for a short-term setup. I'm 6'2" and have snoozed on the 3-seat couch in normal configuration several times as well. We also went for the StealthTech since we wanted some speakers. We weren't looking for audiophile quality per se and my wife likes that it's hidden. It's been great. The only minor issue is that the sound bar that connects to the app tends to drop and must be unplugged occasionally. The other item is that the phone chargers seem to charge slowly, and often make the phones hot to the point we use them sparingly. We also picked up the arm cup holders and ottoman table piece, as well as one of the power cubbies, and those have all been excellent. In addition, we caught a discount during a holiday sale and 48 months of interest-free financing. No worries about it kicking in at the end since it'll be paid off by then. All in all, we're very happy with it. If we end up with more space in our next house we'll see about adding a seat or two. read more

Bought a Love Sac from the South Coast Plaza location in December and got it all in February. After a month, decided we wanted the deep seating instead so this time, headed to the new Cerritos location. The same person (Regina) who helped us in December was there at the new location in Cerritos! She is great! I've seen some bad customer reviews out there for this company but for me, so far, so good. They've been helpful and responsive both in the store and online. The sofa pieces and covers arrived when they said they would. The sofa itself was a little too firm to start with but we walked on it a few times a day for a week and that and just sitting on it, has given it the right amount of give. My only criticism is that I had to watch other people's YouTube videos to understand how the whole thing fit together. I think the company could do a better job of promoting the how-to of it all. My boyfriend and I went into Lovesac today after finally coming to the conclusion that we need a new sectional. We currently have a sofa and a storage ottoman, 3 dogs and a baby on the way so we are in much need of something larger that is both pet and family friendly. My boyfriend pre configured a sectional online but we wanted to test out the cushion options and see the fabrics in person again before making our final decision. The closest one to us was the one in Cerritos and I'm glad we came to this location. We were immediately greeted by Karen and she walked up to us to offer her assistance. We let her know what we pre configured and she went on to show us a demo with the small blocks and going over the cushion's density and fabric options. She changed the cushion inserts without us asking so we can test out the difference and brought out large samples of fabric so we can compare them. She wasn't at all pushy to get us to buy and provided us with her honest feedback on the options we were considering. After about 45 minutes we decided to pull the trigger and purchase a 4 piece sectional. We are so excited to receive it and are hoping it arrives before our baby is here.
