Where do I even begin. Folks, this place is magic! I took a few pieces of art to Min for a quote. I…read moreknew it was going to be costly but as soon as I walked in, Min's immediate energy made me feel less scared, lol. Min is a treasure and that makes me want to gate keep but I just cannot do that, he's incredible. I drove from LA to see him and it was well worth the time on the road. Min has been doing this for a very long time and it is very clear. He knew exactly what he was working with down to knowing specific details about the original framing process of the pieces. He walked me through all of the damage and gave me so many amazing/expert options. There are so many amazing options available and that was exciting:) I have a background in archival work and he has so much knowledge and is very trustworthy with anything brought into the shop. The framing studio is onsite which is also awesome because your work does not need to be sent out for any work, they take care of everything, super professionally, right there. When we arrived for our second trip to drop off all of the art, he was working with an older customer and watching the interaction was so special. He was so kind, even helping her to her car. Come to find out, they have been working together for 20 years(heart)! As we were getting the pieces ready, we had a really meaningful conversation and it was just all around more than what I could have hoped for. Everyone at the shop is great and I will 100% be returning to Min for future framing and will be referring everyone to this shop for all their framing needs.

My (now) husband and I were referred to Chasing Linen by our good friends. Our friends have hired…read morethem for their wedding, and we thought it was SO cute and such a great way to give a wedding favor to their guests. A couple of years later, we got engaged and started wedding planning. What's coincidentally and beautiful is that we booked our venue at Long Beach Museum of Art. That's right, it's an Art Museum. We thought of Chasing Linen and how well it fits with the overall theme! We loved the idea of having them draw at our wedding. Even though we've gotten painted before, it was more special that they painted us on our wedding day for our wedding. Our guests loved it. Some of our friends have framed it already too. We've received amazing feedback about how unique and lovely it is. We love the idea of supporting local artists. Fun fact: I was in art school for almost a decade, so I felt like this is such a nice contribution to supporting such talented artists. Chasing Linen is a great, fun, and unique investment. Trust me, it's worth it. I want to thank you the artists and assistants for being part of our big day. We truly appreciate it all. Really love that you guys added more colorful meaning on our special day! Update: we want to extend more of our gratitude and thanks from the bottom of our hearts to Chasing Linen and her team. We couldn't find one of our paintings, and Chasing Linen was able to locate it and shipped it to us. We are obsessed with our collection!

First off, the artists are amazing, but there were some issues on the day of our wedding that were…read morenot rectified. We waited to see if they would reach out and they never did. Per our discussions and our contract, we agreed that we would have our names and date on the back of the illustrations. This was really important to us so our guests could proudly display their photos without having our names on display as but they would have it for reference on the back. On the day of the wedding, after the ceremony, we noticed that our names and dates were on the front of the pictures. We spoke to them and they said there wasn't much they could do except they had blank ones they could use for the rest and could redo some of them. We were running around and couldn't spend much time trying to figure out a solution. Due to this, they couldn't complete photos for all of the guests. We ordered a contract to cover 200 guests even though we only had 160 guests to ensure full coverage and both of our parents and grandparents didn't even get a photo. Overall it was a disappointing day of service and coordination on our special day. We go to our friends' and family's places and are still sad that they either didn't have this experience and didn't get a photo, or have the ones with our names on the front and so they aren't displayed. Others have cut off the bottom portion with our names for display.

This house turned eclectic mix has all of the chotskies, Olive Oil Vinegar, Teas etc, mixes and then some. Also, many unique, quaint and unusual items for just about everyone and every price range too. There are many things I'd love to have, need, desire and with much will power do without. Usually these '90s type of places have gone by the wayside and have been run out of town by places that have lower prices but, the ambiance matters to me when I'm investigating something special, especially a gift. The owner and her staff provide such wonderful energy and, even though the prices are not something I'm willing to pay I'm sure that there are many consumers who will and enjoy their purchases. Who knows, someday perhaps I just might be one of those individuals. Sasha Witte Design IS walking distance from my home, so that's when I might need to hear this every time I'm tempted to return for anything other than special gift for a special person: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RG0ochx16Dg

LBG has earned my business for life (as long as I'm in L.A.)!!!…read more I had a last minute birthday gift planned for my boyfriend but wasn't sure how to make my vision come to life. He's extremely tall, so finding good-quality and unique pieces of clothing that fit him properly is always a very difficult task. I like to buy or find him specialty-type clothes because Amazon only has so much to offer, and I feel bad for his struggle, lol. Anyways, I called LBG and asked if I could pay to have a detailed image/poster of Dr. Strange printed on a 3x article of clothing if I brought them in, and I only had one day before my boyfriend's birthday so I was in a time crunch. I worked a plan out on the phone with Long Beach Graphix, the staff member I spoke to that night was super helpful, and I had all my questions answered within minutes and felt confident I would get the gift in time. The following day I came in at 1 pm and brought my own poster image of Dr. Strange (Marvel Universe) on a USB flash drive and the 3x sweatshirt. I was not expecting much because the quality of screenprints I've received elsewhere has been subpar. However, this was not to be the case at Long beach Graphix! By 4 pm I had a beautiful, one-of-a-kind sweatshirt for my 6'9" boyfriend. It looks and feels fantastic! I was beyond impressed with the quality of printing, I believe we did a Digital Graphic Print, and my boyfriend LOVED the personalized gift. I will say, it's a delicate image but looks incredible so we know to hand wash or delicate cycle it, and hang dry. It should last a long time with proper care. Lastly, the price was fantastic, and I give the whole team five stars, especially Nick and Esau who assisted me. Thanks, guys! I'll be back! :) Sincerely, Alex

Melody, the office manager was super nice and helpful, answered all my questions and was great about follow up. Knowing I had a 2yr old, they demonstrated their knowledge and experience with this age group because they were able to provide the pros/cons of each setting and the best time to get the most cooperation. On the day, we got a call that morning from Melody to remind us and let us know where to meet exactly. Thank god...cuz my phone crashed, with all my notes! Although the promo was for 1-hour photog session, we were done before then but still got a ton of pictures to choose from. Kristi was sweet and professional. I liked her instantly. We went and saw our proofs just the other day. The studio was small but yet the way they had it set up, it was roomy and comfy. We went through each of our pics on a huge screen and gave them thumbs up or down on them. I felt like i was sitting at home going through our own albums. It was that comfy! From the proofs, some the images were pretty pose-y, while others were so natural that Kristi was able to catch. I just wish my little guy was smiling in more of the pictures. Too bad with the retouching they'll be doing, they couldn't retouch them to add smiles to my little grouch! I've never done professional photos before, so I can't give you a good comparison to cost. But it seemed pricey, based on my limited knowledge of what Asian shops do for much less cost. But KSE has beautiful photo boxes that you can load with 23 or so photos, and the photos will then go into a book. But to get the book, you have to buy the photo boxes. Since we already had thousands of photos, we just chose a few family shots and pair shots. I wanted more but aside from our own database, our wallets just didn't permit me spending needlessly! =( But I think I'll be happy with what we chose. Can't wait to pick them up! Note to anyone going to the studio with child in stroller....the studio is on the 2nd floor , so you have to go up 2 flights of stairs. There's no elevator. Thank god my stroller was light and didn't add to the weight of a sleeping 2yr. old. Bring quarters for street parking or go down towards the residential area and try your luck parking there.
