I am trying to teach her how things are done, we talked with Thomas once before and this time as the last time he was extremely helpful, and with his knowledge he really showed how simple things can be as long as you know what you are trying to do, and even as in this case that is not the fact... We purchase $80 worth of paint and she was very happy. I saw another women in there, and she was struggling trying to communicate what she is trying to accomplish, the person who was helping her was VERY patient and helpful, as I listened in on the conversation. So here it goes. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or gal, if you are not sure of what you are doing and how to go about doing it with regards to painting, come down to Dunn Edwards have all what you are trying to do in your mind or write it down, talk to these highly trained, skilled professionals, explain to them what you are trying to accomplish, oh PLEASE make sure you have your colors picked out... Then listen to what they are telling you, they will tell you what level of paint you should be looking to buy, and here is the hard part, TRUST them, you won't go wrong, that is the main part and the most important part. Then when you go home, get on U Tube enter Tutorial for painting interior, or exterior of residential home, and then start looking at the tutorials that are there and get some knowledge on how you should proceed. Good Luck and have fun, and if something didn't quite turn out, go back to Dunn Edwards show them from your I Phone, I Pad and they will be able to help you achieve your goal. The trick to this is simple, establish a relationship with your Dunn Edwards person, and you will feel much better as you go along with taking care of the most expensive thing you will ever purchase in your life... I asked if she could just try it and she wouldn't. I then asked to speak to someone else then she said she would try my sample. Guess what, my sample worked! She must have complained to the person about me in the back because I could hear them cussing. I'm glad I was persistent. I wish she would have just tried it, instead of arguing. she could have avoided this bad review.

I will start by saying that my needs were to have my living room paint color matched. I had samples on me for them to use with their color match technology. I was helped by an associate named Jose. He was knowledgeable, patient, and determined to get me what I needed. I had purchased samples from other hardware stores with no paint match after 3-4 attempts. I shared this information with Jose and he made it a point to ensure that the color he would sell me that day was the same shade and finish as my living room walls. He hit it right on the money, Jose was so focused and kept dabbing the swatch I brought in with different finishes and perfecting the tone to be an exact match. By the time we finished choosing the paint color, brushes and other needs I was convinced with his expertise that this was going to fix my wall once and for all. Jose explained to me that if this was still off once I patched and painted the wall, he still had more room to adjust the shade that he mixed. Thankfully, I fixed my drywall and painted it with the primer and paint he provided and it turned out perfect. The repairs were right above my TV so if the color didn't match it would be an eye sore, I'm happy to say that was not the case. The first call was disconnected by the person who answered. A subsequent call was not answered, and I ultimately reached the store from another number and was told the item was in stock. When I arrived, a different employee assisted me and completed the sale. During checkout, the employee opened the product box without my request while responding to a product-related question. The question could have been answered without opening the packaging. The item was not needed and remained unused. When I attempted to return it, I was informed that the store does not accept returns under any circumstances. This policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase and is not stated on the receipt. Under California consumer expectations, material terms such as a no-return policy should be clearly disclosed prior to purchase so customers can make informed decisions...especially when packaging is opened by store staff. Posting this so other customers are aware of the store's policies before purchasing.
