What I really come here for is to get keys made. It is very convenient and unlike Home Depot you can usually get service right away.

This is very near to me, yet until very recently I thought they just sold lumber. It's like an Ace Hardware, i used to live a block away from one and would go there all the time, it was just so handy. I will also be coming here regularly, now that I know it's right there! I would 100% prefer to give my money to this small business over Home Depot, which is also pretty close to me. read more

I was very disappointed, everything I read about this place made me think it was an actual lumber yard...they have no HARDWOOD...only building supply lumber...not even any specialty smaller pieces of it...then I asked where the SOLDER could be found they told me that THEY DON'T HAVE SOLDER EITHER. So I went to H.D. where I found both specialty hardwood pieces and solder. Wow these guys are incredible! I had some custom measured wood planks I wanted ordered. I gave them my measurements and picked the type of wood I wanted, and within an hour or so, they had everything cut and ready for pickup. On top of that, they are reasonably priced. Cool spot, they know their stuff. Talk to joe about your project and he will lay some knowledge and give his advice. He walked me through my DIY fence extension project. I came in with a rough idea sketched out on paper and joe was more than helpful in talking trough what would work and what wouldn't work. This place is definitely the place to go for first time he owners and DIY'ers. I would say though, you get out of it what you put into it. These guys know their stuff, so do you research, bring in your dimensions and a plan on how you want to build/fix/ experiment on whatever it is your doing. I found I got the most out of my experience here by communicating to them my idea in a drawn out sketch with dimensions. That way they can throw darts at the idea and show you what their talking about on paper as opposed to telling you and you having to imagine it. Those are my 2 cents anyway... Im sorry but this store is bad bad bad. I went today forgetting why I DO NOT give my business and was reminded again of how bad there customer service was (with the exception of the blonde cashier who seems to be great everytime I have visited). Theres more to customer service than what they practice? Perhaps they should attend some seminars for better learning or visit the local whittier Home Depot and get some understanding of how it works? The store seems nicely stocked and has so much potential. I just don't see how they stay in business ( As the last time, I was the only one there)? "I will NOT make this mistake again". read more

I bought my house 2 years ago and have been purchasing product from these guys ever since. I particularly always deal with Charlie and I just want to say that he's the best when it comes to customer service! He's always going out of his way to help me with what I need. The rest of the staff is great as well, they're always as helpful when Charlie is not around. I so enjoy the local business atmosphere at Oromill. After your order they call it out over the outside loudspeaker where they are quick to get your ticket and fill your order. They also call you by name if you have gone there for any length of time. I have never been called by name at Home Depot or Lowes,,, You are also out of there quicker than at the big box stores. read more
