Absolutely terrible customer service. My husband and I arrived at 5:25 PM, chose our paint within five minutes, and then waited in line for 20 minutes while another customer placed their order. When it was finally our turn at 5:45 PM, the employee (I didn't get her name) refused to color match our paint because they were closing. We had already been waiting and were next in line before the delay caused by others. We've purchased paint and supplies here for multiple property projects, but after this experience, we won't be returning. read more

The lady wasn't very helpful so I waited around for another person and I got a gentleman who took the time to explain what the color swatches mean and best color to choose. I would recommend for the lady if you don't know something, just say that and get someone to help. read more

This is a small yet very clean store with loads of items! I don't think it would have been my pick to go find paint, but I was helping my mom with a project and that's where she wanted to go. We made a couple trips here so I did get a good feel of the place. After experiencing first hand, I will say that I will probably go back to Sherwin-Williams when tackling a project of my own now! On our first visit, I was skeptical because the two employees working seemed like bored zombies even though there were several shoppers in the store. One employee was eager to go home and the other probably was dreading being there alone.... who knows. But after our subsequent visits, all was fine and it seems the employees were having an "off" moment on that initial visit. In fact, all employees during each experience were very knowledgeable and helpful, and even friendly (including those first 2)! The paint quality was wonderful and LOADS of colors and types! All the necessities were there as well. We didn't need full coveralls or painter pants, but you bet they have them! They even have wallpaper (alright, I hate wallpaper, but my mom thought it was pretty exciting to know it was there). We even bought a small thing of un-tinted paint, that we ended up not needing, and they took it back with no problem (along with our receipt). I think I actually like going to this store rather than a big warehouse type for painting supplies; just as many colors, more knowledgeable employees and way less hassle!! CHEERS!! read more

I've been to other Sherwin-Williams locations; it was my first and last time at this location yesterday. I waited at least 10 minutes with my kids at the counter with no acknowledgment. The girl that was working there didn't provide any customer service. Keep in mind that she wasn't with any customers at the time. She continued working as if I wasn't even there. After my kids became impatient and so did I, I left the store and went to the Santa Fe Springs Sherwin-Williams location. I was in and out in ten minutes with a gallon of paint and supplies. We took advantage of the stores offer of a paint consultant to come to the house for 90 minutes. It cost $95 and you got a $50 coupon for paint. I am not very imaginative, and would have been happy with the whole inside of the house painted eggshell white. Nancy had the best ideas to make our walls pop with color. Things I would have never thought of. We are so excited to start the painting and see the transformation. read more

I have visited the La Habra Sherwin Williams store 6+ times over the last couple months. The exterior of my home had been stuccoed and now I had to pick paints to match the siding and accent trim colors. Both Ivette and Martin were saints!!! They had to deal with me trying to decide on colors. They had to mix custom colors for me. Both salespersons are very competent and paid great attention to the color detail. It's the type of personalized customer service you don't always see these days. Thank you Ivette and Martin! You deserve a paid day off for having to deal with all my indecision. Did not do much there. Just came in around 9 am looking for the recommended color samples from the SW consultant. There were two cashiers working and two of us. No greeting nor good bye when we walked in and out. Could it too early to warm up to customers? The store was clean thou. read more

This is the BEST Paint Store that I have ever been. The guy at the store is super friendly and I was 2 minutes late when I arrived on a Sunday when they were suppose to close at 6PM. This is Sherwin Williams seem to cater primarily to contractors. It has the same selection of paint as any other that mixes paint in house. However foot traffic is not high and it's an excellent location to spend time matching paints or getting help with paint selection. As a contractor store it frequently has professional painting tools for sale at discount prices. However, if you're hoping for large showrooms and various idea palettes laid out for you, you're out of luck. This is pretty much contractor level showroom. read more

It's 11:30 am on May 27 and there are literally no customers in the store. The two ladies working were absolutely not helpful and seemed bothered that I asked them any questions. I asked them for help numerous times and they just said "I don't know." However, the younger one proceeded to carry on a 10 minute conversation about cats, her recent graduation, and a new job.
