My history with Angelus goes back over 20 years. On my first visit, a helpful lady with curly hair and glasses guided me through buying dye for my cowboy boots and a leather jacket. I still own those boots, and the finish has stood the test of time! I dropped by recently to grab supplies for a new project--a bottle of Grey Taupe paint, flex-agent, and brushes. The store building looked different than I remembered, so they may have moved, but the quality hasn't changed. I painted a pair of white running shoes, and they turned out fantastic. I had such a refreshing customer service experience with Jess at Angelus Direct! I placed an order a few days ago and realized today that I needed to purchase something else from their store. Since my original order hadn't appeared to ship yet, I emailed their general information address to ask if it was possible to add another item. Angleus leather paint is absolutely amazing. I have previously used it on leather furniture projects and I am currently using it on a large sectional sofa (previously hunter green) using Capezio Tan. I am in love with the Capezio Tan color! It has this beautiful golden undertone sheen that looks incredible. When I show what I have done to family members, they cannot believe how amazing this sofa looks. The acrylic paint is very easy and effortless to use. Coverage is outstanding and the leather on the sofa retains its soft, supple texture. I can also attest to a sofa previously painted with chocolate acrylic paint and how well it hold up. I told Joe a little about the project I needed the paint for. I was met with great service, suggestions and a large selection of paint colors. They have everything from shoe polish, shoe paints, brushes and the like. Joe mentioned I could add an additive to my paint for better results. The prices were incredibly reasonable. My son has recently started customizing sneakers and after purchasing paints online we discovered Angelus has a store within a 30 minute drive . The employees were so nice & helpful , one of the employees gave my daughter and son gummy bears and gave my son advice as to what products to get for his project . Once we were at the checkout the girl that helped us was pretty friendly too , she threw in some stickers and suggested we use the yelp check-in for a discount . The showroom is well organized and there is plenty of parking on the lot . I'm sure we'll be making more trips out here in the future .
