Floe lounge is located inside the Irvine Marriott and has a lot of great options. I opted for the wings because the description got me lol House dry rub wings with your choice of sauce. The wings were super crispy and it was a little smoky. Never had a wing like this where the sauce was on the side. I actually enjoyed it a lot because the wings never got soggy! My friends tried the steak and fries. Said the steak was good but the fries were garlic Parmesan and ended up being a little soggy. We also tired the carne asada bowl which was good too! Nothing crazy but the wings were definitely the hit. The service is super friendly and attentive as most hotel restaurants are. But the seating area is big and they also have a full bar! I've never actually sat and ate at FLOE Lounge, but a portion of their menu is at their hotel speakeasy, Y.N.K. and at the Topgolf Swing Suite also located in the Irvine Marriott hotel. OK so favorites... if you love avocado toasts and grilled cheese, the OC Grilled Cheese is made for you! It's the best of both those worlds and I absolutely loved it so much that I ordered it twice! I also love the pub pretzel bites with cheese. I looooove a good pub pretzie and I like that it comes in sticks so you don't have to worry about pulling it apart when sharing with friends! My last recommendation is the ahi poke nachos. There's not much to say other than they are amazing! For drinks, ngl I had so many different ones, but they were all delicious. This restaurant has fantastic food and the service was really good!! I was very happy and pleased with this place. We had the chicken wings- great! We had the pizza- fantastic! I had the eggs and steelcut oatmeal. The oatmeal was plentiful and thick and tasted well. I enjoyed each bit of it. It's a hotel bar, so keep that in mind, it also gets really crowded on the weekends. The drinks were ok, I did ask the bartender to make my date something using descriptions and he whipped something up for us that was good. The firepits outside were nice and the interior décor is very modern, the only issue I had with the interior design is there is a giant gaping hole into the hotel lobby that makes the place feel too open, would be nicer if it felt like a smaller space. There was also loud live music going on (one guy with his guitar) that made it impossible to hear people without yelling, wouldn't expect that at a hotel bar. The only major negative thing that impacted my review though was that it took about 20 minutes to place a drink order and I was standing at the bar top for that entire time, service was just too slow. I've been here a few times before and after b'ness events. The service is always friendly and efficient. In addition, the areas are all clean inc the restrooms. My mom had her birthday celebration here with her coworkers. We sat by the fire which was nice since it was so cold when we came. We ordered some food, cocktails, and patron shots. The staff was friendly and pleasant. However, service was really slow. The drinks and food came out every 30 or more minutes. We were just lounging around the whole night so the wait didn't seem that long. I definitely recommend coming up to the bar to order your drinks. I come to this hotel quite often, whether it is for work or to plan a stay for work. I was reluctant to write this review because I visit so often; however, after my experience at FLOE lounge I feel like this review is necessary. A few of my friends and I came here to grab a quick 45-minute lunch. The restaurant itself was not very busy when we arrived yet we had very slow service. Don't get me wrong, our waiter was very nice (he cleaned up after my friend's baby who broke a glass) and he was very attentive. Unfortunately, it took us close to two hours to even get our food. My main review is on the overpriced food and the quality of the food. We ordered one charcuterie board, three squash pasta dishes, grilled cheese and a cheese quesadilla. The squash pasta was absolutely horrible. I didn't even finish two bites of it. What astonished me was the cost... $20, really? There was a ton of water at the bottom of the bowl and it was extremely unappetizing. The grilled cheese sandwich was a joke. The bread quality was questionable, the cheese was not high-grade, and the french fries tasted like they were from the frozen department at the supermarket. Honestly, I will not be revisiting this lounge; my friends were also in agreement. It's completely overpriced and the quality of food is just not there. For what I paid, I could have gone to Flemings for a quality meal. This place is only decent if you want to sit down and grab a quick coffee. read more

This review is solely for Happy Hour. 4-stars for the food 3-stars for their service Visited on a Wednesday evening after work. Floe is close to where I work so I did not have problems finding parking or had to pay for parking. However, I do believe you are able to get your parking ticket validated. It was fairly empty when we arrived and there were no servers or hostess we kind of just sat down at an empty table. A couple minutes later a server noticed us and brought us the menu. When we noticed it was the normal menu we asked if we could get the Happy Hour menu- the servers response to us made us a bit confused. She said "I'm not sure if we have anymore of those". The place was pretty much empty so it didn't make sense to us. 5 minutes later she finally came out with the Happy Hour menu. We ordered the Soft Baked Pretzels ($3), Jalapeno Sausage Cheese Puffs ($5) and Cavalier Wings ($7) and 2 glasses of their Happy Hour Chardonnay by Trinity Vineyards. The Cavalier Wings is a MUST order- they were delicious!! The Jalapeno Sausage Cheese Puffs were also great but had a very spicy kick to it. Overall a great and fairly priced place for Happy Hour! Location isn't the best it is in the Irvine Towers plaza and more accessible for those to work around the area. Service can definitely be improved. read more

My wife and I wanted to have a nice dinner in Irvine because we were in town. We were very happy that we chose to dine in Floe lounge because it had a great ambiance. There was live music, tasty food, and the server was terrific. We had the chicken wings that were very tasty and the Harvest Salad with Ahi Tuna which was to die for. Overall, staying at this hotel for a long time is a relief when you have quality food and service in the lobby. They also have little buttons to push for service but I'm not sure they really work. FLOE is seriously impressive when it comes to hotel dining and drinking options. The drinks are carefully crafted and very well made, and the same goes for the food. My husband and I decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary. We hit up the bar area for a happy hour cocktail ($5 off drinks including the specialty cocktails), and the bartender that night was amazing! He was fun to watch as he skillfully prepared the drinks, making a bit of a show of it. I chose the pomegranate ginger martini and my husband ordered a double cross moscow mule. Both drinks were delicious! They're a bit pricey so do try to grab a drink during happy hour if you can. The inside dining area is comfortable but felt too hotel-like so we chose to dine outside. The outdoor dining area is quite nice, with a firepit, large umbrellas, blankets for when it gets chilly (it can get quite windy), and a really cool herb/veggie wall. I enjoyed seeing the bartender come out to pick herbs for his bar creations. Our friendly server told us how the little buzzer on our table worked. This is a great concept so you're never waiting long for your server to come check on you, and you can even request the check whenever you're ready. I was excited to see that FLOE offered several vegetarian options, including a very creative one: grilled cauliflower steak over polenta with grilled veggies and corn relish. We ordered that along with the ultimate veggie burger which comes topped with jack cheese, spinach, and sundried tomatoes. Both dishes came out quickly and were nicely presented. The cauliflower steak was great! Lots of flavor, good texture, and fresh tasting ingredients made this the winner of the night. We had been told that this dish was vegan, but I could definitely taste cheese in the polenta. The veggie burger was unfortunately a bit bland despite all the toppings. It needed some spice, acidity, and zing to sharpen up the flavors. The fries were crinkle cut and served in a cute metal cup. We were pretty stuffed by the end of the meal and were deciding if we should share a dessert. My husband had mentioned that it was our anniversary when he made the reservation, and the kitchen ended up surprising us with a beautiful chocolate berry cake on the house! Now that's great service! FLOE is offering one of the best hotel dining experiences in the area, and it's also great for us locals. This is our go-to spot after work. It's inside the Marriott. Chef Ryan has recently revamped the menu and it's great! The Popcorn Chicken, Dry Rub Wings and Cauliflower are HIGHLY recommended. Hayden makes a mean Old-Fashioned. She uses classic techniques and it is impressive! I love my crew over there, Massimo, Brandy and Jose just to name a few. Yes, I am there way too much.... Parking - Plenty of parking in the structure or you can valet. Venue - Inside the Marriott but the bar is very large with indoor and outdoor seating. They have tvs, fire pits, private room for parties and much more. Food - They have good food to snack on, and selections for entrees that I didnt order at the time. Staff - Friendly and chill staff at the time as it was a slow night they always had us topped out. 2nd time and Jon made it even more amazing. Not only did he give me the local discount (10%) off but was attentive to my table's needs and was always making sure we were satisfied. He was definitely a pleasure to have as our server. Food here is always good for decent price. My friend and I actually went here right after visiting Fireside Tavern. We had initially ordered a bunch of food for the table, but it was so gross that we asked for a box and left straight to Floes. Thankfully the kitchen was still open because we were still starving. Things could have been a little better if the speakeasy was open though. The drinks there are amazing. We ordered tomato bisque, Artisan bread with butter, a burger, and deviled eggs. My favorites were... all of them! Tomato bisque was creamy and hot. Warmed the belly on a cold winter night. And the Artisan bread... they were warm, fluffy, and perfect as a bed for butter. I had to ask our server what one of the breads was because the scent and aroma of it was so floral and delicious. To my surprise, he and other servers (I had to verify ad confirm) said it was just Hawaiian rolls!! What? I thought the only Hawaiian rolls that exist were Kings...
