Meh. Not too bad & wasn't impressed after all the raving raving reviews. I was unsure what I wanted so I decided to go with something familiar and something new. The chicken mopsy was flavorful thanks to the sweet bbq sauce. I found the sausage and mushroom to be bland (unsalted) or lacking flavors you would expect from a typical sausage (eg fennel, spices, salt). I'm comparing the flavors with an open mind and a new experience, not to what I typically like. The crust is 5 stars, something you'll find in Roma & Naples. The flavors I think can be better matched. I was starving btw so I thought that would also enhance the flavors but no. read more

Love the pizza! Wood fired and good toppings. The crust was thin (everything stayed on the pizza despite the thin crust) and the toppings were flavorful. Cheese pizza was delicious on its own but we loved the pepperoni. We're going to be coming back here each time we're in town! read more

Service is great the people are happy to serve and the ambiance is terrific, pizza is made in the old brick oven style and they have the restaurant set up so the customers can watch them spin the dough in the air and also place the pizza in the oven. If your hungry for desert I highly recommend the apple cider donuts sprinkled with chocolate and whipped cream. Comes to you warm and is absolutely amazing. Sit back and enjoy. read more

The Jays Heart pizza is the best cheese pizza I've ever had and I'm not being dramatic. I've travelled the world and no other cheese pizza compares it is simply the best, I don't know how they get the unique flavor but I taste it in my dreams. The only thing I dislike about Flatbreads is they now have a non-optional 2% charge added to the bill to 'tip the cooks'. Isn't that what I'm paying for by paying for the food? Do they expect you to leave a 20% for staff afterwards and end up tipping 22% tip overall? The whole system is confusing and ridiculous. read more

Was ok. Cheese pizza had a nice combination of cheeses for a really good taste but tomato sauce was non existent. Also got an onion mushroom one.toppings were sparse on one side. Delicious! And, a GREAT space for groups! Love the ambiance and how you can see the pizzas being tossed and oven-baked. We got The Lafayette Vegetarian which was very good. I love lots of veggies on my pizzas. My favorite was The J.G Whittier which had really great italian sausage! I'm a sucker for sausage pizzas, but there is definitely good and bad sausage and this was REALLY GOOD! Even the gluten-free pizzas were good and kudos to our server who asked whether the gluten was an allergy or a preference. I appreciate them being careful in the process of cooking because we had a gluten-intolerant person in our group. The one downside is the second bathroom is like really far in the basement. read more

Dennis and I went back to Flatbread on a stormy Friday evening. It was great, no wait even though it was busy. We ordered local beer on tap and the salad to share. We also ordered the large pepperoni (half with shrooms for me). It was all good and decent. Not a lot of food for the price...it came to $43 for everything. read more

My family and I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is fresh and delicious every time. We have been sticking to our usual order of the Chicken Bacon Ranch and Jay's Heart pizza, with extra ranch on the side for dipping. The pizza is a perfect blend of crispiness and chewy, packed with flavor. My kids love this location especially because of the balls of dough they get to play with while waiting for their food. The only reason I don't have another star is because I wish there were appetizers offered here besides salads. I appreciate sticking to what you do (here, it's flatbreads and some salads, and beer) but we often choose to go someplace else because we love having aps. Don't get me wrong the pizza is really great, albeit overpriced. But I have one bone to pick with flatbread. We live in town and we would come here all the time if it weren't for the fact that there are no appetizers. No aps!? We met a group of friends at Flatbread Company Pizza in Amesbury, MA for a late lunch and the pizza was really good. We had the large Mopsy's Kalua Pork Pie, without the red onions $23.75. I think that's a fair price for a good hearth fired pie. We also had 2 Margarita's each, and I have to question if there was even any alcohol in them or if it was simply that they were such very small drinks, definitely not what you'd expect when ordering a Margarita, and they were $13.00 each. Next time I'll have an iced tea instead. So the pizza was 5 star, the drinks barely 1 star, I believe my bill was not quite $82.00, including tax and an unexpected 2% back of house fee. I get it, it's only 2%, but I just don't agree with businesses charging their customers additional fees, so Flatbread Company your 2% fee cost your server 5% off her tip. Pay your help what they're worth, do not put that responsibility onto your customers. read more

This is the original Flatbread in a really unique old mill space. There is a small outside section in an historical courtyard with corn hole. If you would like it see where it all began give it a try. I have been coming here off and on since it opemd and it's still Good ! read more

FANTASTIC PIZZA!!! Flatbread was amazing! All ingredients are organic, locally sourced or farm to table. Everything is made in the coal fire oven in the center of the restaurant. We loved all the things they stand for but weren't sure how good the pizza was going to be. Well it was A-MAZING! Just the right amount of cheese, crust was perfect- crunchy on the outside soft in the inside. Sauce was just the right amount and the toppings were so delicious. A large can be shared by 2 Adults (in our case, kids too- they loved theirs). We got the mushroom and peperoni, but you can also build your own with the toppings of your choice. We also went for dessert and they were both fantastic- brownie sunday and chocolate chip banana bread. Both were baked in the oven and they come with the most delicious ice cream we've had- Anabelle's. Service was very friendly. We did the yelp waitlist and only waited about 10 mins once we checked in. Very convenient feature. Highly recommend Flatbread!!!! read more

The pizza here is delicious! The quality is felt from the first bite of their slice.... definitely a little pricier than what most other pizza places here in Amesbury offer but I'd say it's completely worth every penny. The only gripe I have about this place is that sometimes their staff can be a little rude at times. read more

This spot is located in a cute little area. Thy have nice outdoor seating which we took full advantage of on the beautiful day. We ordered the jimmy free range chicken pizza and it was absolutely delicious! Had corn, black beans and a lime cream sauce drizzle. For dessert we had the brownie sundae. The brownie is cooked in their oven so it's nice and warm with the ice cream. Absolutely delicious and a perfect size to split when you're almost full. UPDATED I changed from a 1 to a 3 star and may update again. After filling out their online survey I was issued and apology as well as a full refund and a gift cert for me to try them again. I liked they took responsibility for what happened. Where to start, lets just talk about the pizza. Mine arrived cold and the restaurant is less than a mile away. 2 large pizzas delivered came to over $70. I'm not stranger to expensive pies when I am treating myself. But the other places, their pies are really good. These were dogf*rt tier, like something you would get from Panera Bread or the 99 restaurant. They boast organic high-quality ingredients but the final result is mediocre at best. If you are having any issue ordering delivery do not bother to call the location. You'll get someone who talks and acts "Tenteen". I have to contact the bank and dispute these charges. This place is awful. I can only image people who like this pizza have not had decent pizza and probably think Dominos is good. read more

What's not to love? Great building, great thin crust open fired pizza and if you're into it there are plenty of taps. This is my second time over the last few years I've had a chance to eat here. It's funny how I say I'm not a big pizza guy, but really, I'll forgive myself for eating the whole thing. The crust is thin enough to do it without feeling like I'll explode. The Food as always is great. Unfortunately, the restaurant is usually filled with unsupervised children. They will run wild throughout the building, slamming into people, knocking things over, and even spread out on the floor with toys/coloring books blocking everyone's path. Parents let their kids treat this place like a chuck-e-cheese and the staff don't do anything to regulate. I wish they would step up the service to make this an enjoyable spot for all and not just families with misbehaving children. read more
