I'm new in town and have had a few subs at Busy Bee - what a great choice! The sandwiches are large, reasonably priced and stuffed full. I usually get the toasted veggie but I can't wait to try more. It's got a classic Greek "House of Pizza" vibe and I love that. Haven't tried the pizza yet but they have been in business a l-o-n-g time so it must be good. read more

This was my second time here. I'm really glad I found them. I think they're pizzas are really good and the prices anre competitive. The owner is a super friendly who's been running it for 25 years so this is my new favorite pizza place. read more

I just tried busy bee for the first time. That was the best pizza I have ever had, the service was incredible. I would recommend everyone to try this pizza. The owner was amazing, best pizza in Amesbury! read more

Busy Bee Pizza & Subs - Small pizza - Pizza Near Me - Amesbury, Massachusetts

I ordered 3 pizzas from Busy Bee today and I'm very happy with the order. They were delivered hot and on time. And absolutely delicious. Thank you for some great pies! We'll back. read more

Great Pizza. Crispy crust, fresh toppings. Fair prices. My favorite pizza in town, hands down. Not a fan of their french fries. Sandwiches and other dishes are hit and miss, but I don't order them often mostly because of the fry thing. Salads could use more variety of toppings, but otherwise standard New England Sub shop fare. Great people. read more

Delicious food, steak bomb and chicken Alfredo calzones are my go to . Super busy bee pizza also is great.

Pizza is Greek-style. Mostly cheese, little sauce. Crust was nice. Mushrooms were canned. Wings are fairly small but crispy. Hot sauce is home made. read more

could not eveb order from this place. I went online, ordered, and got nothing in the form of confirmation. I called. I was damded to give my card infformation. The creep on the phone wou;d not ven verify what order I was calling about. I ho[pe some poor guy or gal is not on the way read more

I never made it past the phone call. I looked online at Geo's, Pizza Factory, and Busy Bee's websites looking for any specials on pizza. I found a good looking coupon at http://www.busybeepizza.com/index.php?link=coupons for Mon-Tues only 2 Lg pizzas (coupon #2 on the website). There is no way to add the coupons to the web orders, so I figured I would call. No big deal. When I called, I was told that those coupons are too old and the prices are invalid. There are no expiration dates on the coupons and they should obviously update their website, but that is not my fault. He did not offer any compromise, so I told him that I would call elsewhere. I ordered from The Pizza Factory and had no problems there! read more

I really wanted to like this place, but was sorely disappointed. As a food service professional, I'm generally very forgiving of errors and understand that things happen. This experience was just gross. Pros: Prompt delivery and very courteous driver. That's where it ends. Cons: Food was NASTY! Onion rings were mushy and inedible. My teenage son - who eats like a linebacker - threw them out and made himself a sandwich instead. The calzone came complete with a gnarly hair (not ours, we checked)! Save yourself the hassle and have a PB&J. read more

I had a slice with mushrooms which was not good: it was small, flavorless, and I usually don't mind canned mushrooms, but these were horrible. If I was reviewing on my slice alone I would give 2 stars. My man's turkey sub was huge, fresh, and he said it tasted pretty good. I was jelly watching him eat it, so plus 1 star. read more

I am thoroughly addicted to their sausage calzone--when it's extra saucy, cheesy, and lots of delicious sausage it literally is one of the best things I've ever eaten!!! read more

Busy Bee has very friendly service and a rather large menu. The busy bee club is a favorite of mine with just about everything you can put on a sandwich with some fries and a salad. Me and my coworkers have also been known to enjoy some of their subs, pizzas and salads. I guess my favorite part about the place is the service. Great people work there. read more

Busy Bee is the quintessential local pizza place. They have quality dough and they make the pizza with care. There are some less common topping options that I was a fan of. I liked the steak bomb pizza. It was greasy but that is an inherent problem with shaved steak. The fried foods that came with our order looked like they were dropped when the order was started and then the guy walked away and took it out when everything else finished. Just past done. Overall I had a positive experience, it's a small business that is worth supporting. Get your quick pizza fix from this place, it's satisfying. read more

Busy Bee Pizza & Subs - Exterior - Pizza Near Me - Amesbury, Massachusetts

I usually used to go here when ordering out because it's so close to my house, but after a couple times of going there I learned that most of their menu isn't really that appetizing at least in my opinion, I'm not the biggest fan of the place anymore. Their cheeseburger subs aren't bad at all and same with the fries, but that's about it! The cold subs aren't really good at all, same with the burger plate or even their pizza (which is what they are supposedly known for) the pizza tastes very bland and doesn't have much flavor. If you are going to come here don't get the pizza because you will be disappointed. read more

Last time I ordered from here was 2012. They missed an item in a delivery order I placed. Called to inquire about it. Told me they would bring it and "no charge", which I think most people would interpret as they were not being charged for the missed item. Poor, innocent delivery driver came back with the missed item...and told us how much was due. We refused to pay for the error, so poor kid left with the food. Called back and spoke with the same person from before, guessing it was the owner. He said he meant we hadn't been charged for the item in our first order, not that we weren't going to be charged for it at all. When I confronted him about his poor customer service skills (which is something I never do, but was very upset with how things were handled), he proceeded to YELL at me to not tell him how to run his business. So, I said fine, but now I won't be back. Unless ownership/management has changed since 2012, then I have no intentions of ever returning to this place ever again. Which is actually too bad, because I did like the food and don't have anything negative to say about the food. But treating customers this way is wrong, especially when the restaurant made the mistake. read more

I tried this place 3 times across a few months every time I had to come to town and I don't know why I gave it more than 1 chance, maybe because parking is so bad at some of the others and there is usually a spot open in front of this one? Both versions of the chicken fingers are bad, salad is bad, fries are always undercooked and the subs are bland. I thought maybe the pizza would be good, but had to remind myself that it already has 3 strikes, how could the pizza possibly be any good? Always have that brick in stomach feeling after eating here. Also the delivery drivers who come in and out always seem like they are tripping on some drug and twice they've been swearing and throwing trash from their car onto the street. They should close up shop and hopefully another sub shop gives it a better shot. read more

Worst pizza and subs I have ever had, got sick 3 times! Please skip this disgusting place and go somewhere else- literally ANYWHERE else.

After moving to Amesbury we tried a lot of different pizza places, looking for the perfect "house of pizza style" slice. We found it at Busy Bee. If you want fancy $18 pizza, go to Flatbread; but if you need a reliably good pepperoni pizza, pizza your picky kid will definitely eat, or a big stack of pizzas delivered for a party, then go here. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's about five minutes from our house. I knew the pizza was going to be a let down when I picked it up and it was SO HEAVY. The toppings were piled on with way tooo many olives. The salad was ok, lettuce a little wilted. The sub looked good, but was not for me. We probably won't try again. read more

Finally! My fiancé and I have found the best "takeout style" pizza in Amesbury! (Flatbread by far for sit down gourmet style) ... I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and was quite surprised that it came with Pineapple and Bacon along with Chicken on a BBQ sauce base. The sauce was delicious and the chicken was cut up into nice small bite size pieces...unlike some places that give you those ginormous chunks of chicken. It tasted great but I will add onions to it next time! And I love the nice crispy crust. I'm looking forward to ordering here again. read more

Overall experience was a joke as far as food delivery goes. We will not order from this establishment again.

Ive tried this place on several occasions and its never better than "OK" or "DECENT". However on this past occasion it was Terrible, everything we ordered that was fried had a smell of old fried food to it, some of which was not cooked thoroughly. And all of it tasted pretty bad. The subs are the only reason I will give them 2 stars. They again were OK but much better than the appetizers. Not interested in anymore decant meals from this establishment. read more

Update, ordered pizza for delivery and after 45 minutes with no pizza, I called to ask whats up. Was told it's on the way (I live about 1/8 mile away) and was asked if I minded paying an extra $5 because they made a large pizza when I had ordered a small. 20 minutes later, still no pizza - called and canceled. The poor driver showed up about 5 minutes later. Not sure if the pizza had been sitting in the bag all that time or what, but they're off my list. read more

Food is always fresh! Pizza has fresh mozzarella, excellent customer service , have been a loyal customer for years! Highly recommend

Very Bad ! Steak tip Alfredo I can't even describe except it went in the trash

Merrimack Valley Health Center is a big fan of the pizza from Busy Bee!!!! Love the white pizza choices, fast delivery and very nice owner answering the phone. read more

Delivery time wasn't too bad, however, the delivery man was rude. Didn't receive an itemized receipt. Food was cold, sloppy, mediocre at best. Steak and cheese sub was incredibly dry after specifically asking for extra cheese. Would have given 0 star if it was an option! Never ordering from here again read more

worst food i've ever gotten around this area always comes from busy bees never and i repeat never get anything that has chicken fingers they're terrible and comparable to mcdonald's nuggets read more

Ordered the pizza here 8 years ago and haven't been back. The place hasn't been updated, food is not that good and pizza is below average. I'd rather eat a pizza Hot Pocket than try here again! read more

I would give no star if I could. First time I order was tonight. I was given a 30 minute delivery time my food was 36 minutes late and I called twice to inquire about my order and the second time I told them I was not going to pay for cold food. They manager was not at all concerned for their obvious lack of customer service. I do not recommend wasting your time with such rude service and lack of time management. read more

This place is great if love greasy, oily pizza, flavorless... In other words, I'll never go back...

Always great quality subs, pizza, burgers etc. Super friendly staff. Best pizza in town, except maybe for flatbreads. But I consider them to be two completely different types of pizza (gourmet is flatbreads, pizza shop style is busy bee). Household favorites are the Busy Bee Wrap, Steak Mushroom & Cheese, Homemade chicken fingers (sub or side), burgers, cheese pizza. Definitely my favorite sub shop in town. read more

I had tried the pizza years ago and didn't like it. I tried it again last week, and it was EXACTLY what I had been looking for... A good "Greek style" pizza in Amesbury! Most of the pizzas in town are forgettable, but this pizza is great! I went with the pepperoni and green pepper it shows on their menu, and it was delicious! read more

I was shocked when I ordered a 16" Chicken Cordon Blue Pizza listed on both the online menu and the printed menu for $16.99 and had to pay a $2.00 delivery fee which was not included on either site. I didn't argue with the delivery guy, hey it's not his policy and sent him away with a normal 15% tip. I contacted the owner, Arik who stated that this is the normal policy for any pizza delivery service in the area to tack on a delivery fee. I disagreed and gave him several names of other pizza joints that don't have hidden fees. He then chided me by asking ifif there were addition fees not listed on the menu and since I didn't, he would not refund the price. Is he kidding? Please don't get ripped off by these turkeys and tell 10 of your friends to tell 10 of their friends to stay far away from this place! read more
