The Pizza is a far cry from what it use to be as are the steak subs. Deleos was always a bit pricier but never minded paying for quality products, now it's just horrible! Lack luster paper thin pizza with subpar toppings, what you get of them, and a snippy gal when you order as well.. Dear DeLeos, We buy your pizzas ALL of the time. We are local and like to support local businesses. Tonight was a Hugh disappointment. The female taking the order call was horrible. The small Delizia we ordered (a pie we get a lot) was less than the usual quality. Most of the pie was just sauce and mozzarella. Hands down. I've been buying pizzas all over town. This pizza is by far the best. Big sign telling folks there is an up charge of 4% if they use a card. A lot of processors gouge small places with fees. If you try and spend $32 it's an extra $1.28 so whoever complain about that gotta get some help. Always courteous always open. read more

Was greeted when walked in and dispute my hanger was treated like a regular. Appreciated the High top and booth options. There was a bar which has separate seating from the booths and high tops. Two guys who ran the place had a great attitude, I would tell my mother to check it out. read more

I ordered some takeout from this DeLeo's location very recently. DeLeo's has another location in Groveland. They offer pizza, calzones, subs, salads, burgers, chicken fingers, chicken tips, and steak tips. I saw the cook in the kitchen cutting up steaks! The menu can be seen at http://www.deleospizza.com The place has a takeout counter with a row of table seating along the wall to the right and a small bar area with TV to left which serves beer and mixed drinks including martinis and mojitos. Brick oven pizza is advertised on the sign out front and on the menus, but there appeared to be new conventional pizza ovens in use at this location. I asked about the new ovens and I was told the pizzas were not baking correctly before using the brick oven. Anyways, I ordered the Bianco ($8.99 for a 12" pizza) which is a white pizza topped with provolone, romano, mozzarella, ricotta, olive oil and lots of garlic. Though I'm still not sure if the oven was lined with bricks, the Bianco pizza tasted pretty good and very garlicky with a thin and very firm chewy crust. It's fine. Probably the best pizza in the area, but there's not much competition. Sauce is nice, dough is nice, cheese is nice if a little sparse. Could've done e with a minute or two more in the oven as the crust was quite pale and pepperoni hasn't really crisped up . No delivery. 4% surcharge to use credit card. read more

Pizza was fantastic! Ordered a large "Chicken Broccoli Bianco" while passing through. Pizza was well done, but not burnt, toppings portions were good, and crust was excellent. My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren live in nearby Merrimac. Since DeLeo's is close by, we gave it a try. We ordered a large combination pizza and a large cheese and bacon pizza. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff. Both of the pies were ready, so we took them back to the house to eat. The pizzas were well cooked and very tasty. read more

Came here on a drive up to Maine for a quick bite to eat. My friends and I got a large pepperoni pizza and some garlic bread to share. Our order came out pretty fast, about 10 minutes for the garlic bread and about another 5 minutes for our pizza. The garlic bread was a little disappointing and not a lot of flavor. The pizza was delicious, all three of us ate the entire pizza it hit the spot perfectly. Would come back if in the area for the pizza but not the garlic bread. They also have a bar on the left side which was cool, we didn't go on that side though since we stopped for a quick bite to eat. Just moved into the area and we ordered takeout from DeLeo's for our first night. We got a mushroom & onion pizza, mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. The chicken wings and pizza were great, but we waited too long to eat so the mozzarella sticks we're solid instead of melty. The service was friendly and the location was very convenient. Im so happy with my 2017 pizzas!. Still no delivery. To add that within the borders of merrimac only... i anticipate $$$ for these guys. Best pizza in merrimac circa late 2017. No brick oven pizza, no delivery. Crust is ok, better than merrimac house of pizza (but 3x the price).. Have had turned fresh mozz. Fine for Merrimac but mediocre. We order from there because there aren't really any other options in town. Prices have gone up, paid $15 for a small speciality pie. They haven't updated prices online, so ask for your total before pickup to avoid surprises. Anyone who thinks it is really great NY style hasn't been to NY. I really enjoy the pizza here. The thin crust is great, has a good choice of toppings and is always cooked well. The subs are decent and seem to have good quality meat. They have some tables here and a tiny bar so, in theory, you could eat here. I have never tried since I live right down the street. The service is okay - the staff is pleasant enough and always helps you right away. I have even walked in and had subs made within a few minutes when they are busy. read more

Seriously...if you want better pizza with better service go to your local dumpster and trash pick. The female who takes your order, or Miss. Attitude, who thinks her s*+# doesn't stink, was rude and made walking in questionable. She couldn't have cared less about helping new customers and simply seemed irritated that we were even there. We found this place by accident when a place down the street was unexpectedly closed for a vacation. While the inside is nothing to hugely write home about, it's a pizza place, and as long as the food is good, that's all that matters. Well, it was - at least the pizza was! Hot, fresh, and tasty, and not greasy at all! We sat at the bar, and they even had a great selection of mixed drinks, and even had Angry Orchard! This is the second really bad pizza ..I won't be going back. The dough was literally raw on the inside but the bottom was almost burnt...I threw the whole thing away. Who wants to eat something uncooked...botulism anyone? And if I wanted to cook I would have cooked my own pizza! Gross! I don't know what happened to this place over the past year but they have really gone down hill. The last time I got a sub there I ordered a cheese sub for a grandchild...
