The food is great and inexpensive. Great bar area for watching sports. I would highly recommend when in the Newton area!

I've ordered here twice, first time was months ago & it was good pizza, long wait for the delivery- no problem I get it; it was worth the wait. Second time was a few days ago and although it was a quick delivery, the pizza was horrible. Not sure if there is new cooks working, but it's kind of hard to mess up sauce & cheese. This place is a little hidden gem in Newton. I've gotten quite a few takeouts and the pizza and subs are always great! They're even open Sunday's which has worked out great during construction at our house. Definitely my top choice in a pizza shop In this area! read more

This place is great, especially the pizza. The quality of ingredients is terrific, hands on owner who really cares about food. Sandwiches are terrific as well, good quality and good portions my only complaint is the sandwiches are too big! Service is always terrific, special requests never seem to be a problem. read more

The service at Chris' is too good. I have ordered here consistently for a few years now and my order is always 1000% over my expectations. Chris, Mark and Ty are such a great team. Salads are wonderful, French fries are the PERFECT steak fry... I mean couldn't get better at a steak house if you wanted. Pizza is awesome, buffalo fingers and the subs.... don't even get me started on the subs. Chris has a small menu, but you can customize your order how you please.. I actually do enjoy going to the bathroom ten minutes after I eat. The sensation is fairly relaxing and with the quality of the food my bowel movements are beyond easy. My wife jokingly refers to it as "greased lightning". I couldn't say how many pizza's I've ordered, dozens at the very least, and all good. Their wings, fries and especially onion rings (my new fave) are all good. Delivery time is fast and food is always hot. Prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is that they're closed on Mondays! read more

I order from here about 3 to 4 times a week and every time the food is great. Hot if it was suppose to be hot, cold if its suppose to be cold. Everything is extremely fresh. Chris is always there making sure everything is consistent. I never once had an issue. I eat out a lot and I can tell what food is fresh and what is frozen. Plus, his subs are always filled to the max, not skimpy like it was weighed to a specific weight to make the most profit. He just packs the subs full so your always getting way more value, way more food for the money you spent. I think the place is awesome. I couldnt believe the low reviews. Maybe they were from when he first opened and was trying to get his feet on the ground? Im not making excuses for him, but I can tell you hes a hard worker, hes always there, they are all very friendly, the delivery is always on time or earlier so I have no idea why the bad reviews. Probably some fat soccer mom mini van driver who was upset cause she wasnt full after forty dollars worth of pizza, and forget to buy some ice cream so she can sit on the couch, get fatter, and then post bad feedback.
