This is the type of place you could get dinner or lunch at every day! The quality of their ingredients is top notch. Unlike most places around here it isn't staffed with a bunch of kids that don't really care. Everything she/they put out is made with love and care. Until I found Shelly's I had a place I'd go to for pizza, another place for subs, another place for chicken sandwiches, etc. Now I have a place I can go to for everything. I haven't tried the CBZ Alfredo, but judging on everything else I've had here, I bet it's perfect. I plan on trying it this weekend! read more

Shelly's Kitchen is now open at Plaistow Center, which is a casual pizza and sandwich eatery. The place is order at the counter and there is table seating to the back left of the counter. They offer Sicilian pizzas (by the sheet or by the slice), paninis, hot & cold subs, salads, soup, chicken wings, chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, kids meals and cooler drinks (Coke products). There are also a few kinds of thick Sicilian pizza slices and chicken wings in the heated glass case. They also have grab & go premade finger sandwiches, wraps, and salads and Wachusett bagged chips. The prices here are moderate and slightly high. I stopped by Shelly's Kitchen for takeout recently. I wanted to try their pizza, so I picked out two thick square Sicilian pizza slices, Pepperoni ($4.95 plus tax) and Chicken Bacon & Broccoli ($5.95 plus tax) and also ordered a 12" Steak & Provolone Cheese with Onions Sub ($14 plus tax). The steak & cheese sub was made to order with the shaved steak, and onions cooked on the grill. My order was ready in about 12 minutes. The Sicilian pizza slices were heavy and thick with a soft texture and crisp outside crust topped with a sweet tomato sauce, cheese and standard toppings. There are other pizza places in Haverhill where I've also had pretty good sweet sauce on the pizza, though my preference is traditional red sauce. The steak and cheese sub had plenty of grilled shaved steak with melted cheese and onions in the mix on a soft & chewy white sub roll. The sub was cut in halves and wrapped as two 6" subs. Overall, the food here tasted pretty good. I enjoyed the Sicilian pizza slices. I would probably order a whole 6 cut sheet next time with the traditional sauce instead, starting at $17.95 for cheese to $23.95 for supreme and $26.95 for Shelly's Special, about $3.00 - $4.50 a slice before tax. read more

We ordered take-out yesterday from Shelly's. All of it was excellent! We got the supreme pizza with traditional sauce and mushrooms added, a chef salad, and two hot subs. There were four of us sharing and we have enough food left for an entire meal! It was delicious and they don't skimp on anything! We'll be back. read more

If you have not tried here yet DO IT! At work we order out as a group and we have been here 4 times since they opened. I tried the pizza which was excellent for the style it is. The pieces are very big and thick so one slice was plenty! This place reminds me of my childhood when sandwich shops used the best ingredients and things tasted right! The steak and cheese was a perfect blend of bread, cheese and meat. The chicken parm sub reminded me of the old Brando's in Haverhill, awesome chicken and seasoned sauce, not that marinara crap! Best Sicilian pizza in town. Don't expect a conventional pizza here. There are plenty of places in town for that but if you want a Sicilian thick crusted, sweet sauce pizza Shelly's is the only place in town. My kids love it. I love it. Very filling most will be full with one slice. And their chicken wings are awesome juicy and baked. I like the sweet sauce on the pizza but they also have a regular sauce. My wife gets gluten-free thin crust all the time with veggies and she loves it too. read more

so I have returned after a previous awful review of the pizza I am happy to report that a chicken parmigiana sub was very good and highly recommended also I was glad to notice all of the employees were wearing gloves unfortunately I seems they were wearing them to keep their hands clean and infection control was not the reason they touch money the phone the food and everything else in reach wearing the same gloves even the cook comes out wearing gloves and unaware of proper food handling I must say the sub was very tasty I just hope I do not become Ill. read more

Ordered for the first time last night. We got a pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. Both were ready quickly and were delicious! I've never had this style of pizza before, but note that it is a lot of thick dough. I didn't mind it, but if you are someone that likes a thin crust pizza, then this probably isn't for you. read more

This five star rating says Great but i'd say it's actually Excellent!! I know the owner of this establishment and she is one of the good ones. I had driven by the location a dozen times waiting for it to open.. watching it being built from the ground up.. the grand opening was yesterday and today May 16, 2023 I was able to go in to see it completely finished.. I ordered a Caesar Salad, Fried Mushrooms (I was informed that I was the first to order these) and a ham & cheese sub.. all completely delicious.. Located in Plaistow, NH, Shelly's offers a wide variety of items you'd expect from a sub/pizza shop including a delicious assortment of chicken wings! Food looks amazing. Although I don't like Sicilian pizza they offer so much more. And their pre made salads are delicious and fresh.

I got the game Day special which comes with one large pizza chicken wings and a soda. Not a favorite of that pizza too thick with a little sauce on top, something tasted odd whether it's the sauce or the dough. Not as good as Napoli's. Chicken wings were a little dry with sauce throwing on it. Not a favor to mine either. Maybe I'll try a sandwich next time read more

Great slice, excellent bang for your buck pizza. Very different from everything else in town. They offer a very thick Sicilian style pizza with an option for regular or sweet sauce which is great, the sweet sauce gives it sort of a beach pizza vibe if you are familiar with Tripoli's or Cristys but is much more affordable and you get more than either of those locations. Have been 3 times since they opened already. Have tried both styles of their Sicilian pizza, both sweet and regular sauce, steak and cheese, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and the WINGS. All the food is amazing but the crispy wings are worth a drive from anywhere! The was super hot and fresh and had plenty of dipping sauces.
