Went here for the first time the other day. To say it was uncomfortable would be an understatement. The two men working made me extremely uncomfortable between the staring and odd comments. While waiting for my food I went to use the restroom and had an overwhelming feeling I was being watched so I opted out of that and decided to hold it. When I returned to my table I was told, the moment I went toward the restroom, the two men working both disappeared out of sight (in the direction of the bathroom abutting wall). When we approached the counter to get our food the man working the counter became condescending to my husband in a very loud and aggressive manner. Love this place. My top stop sandwiches, lunch or dinner. The owner and staff are very friendly and always helpful. Always say thank you and know your name. The pizza is nothing to write home about. Calzones are good. But, if you like alfredo- even a little bit, order from here. Their alfredo sauce is the best I have ever had, and I have had and made very, very many iterations of alfredo. I don't exaggerate about anything, but th eir alfredo sauce is perfection. Ordered a bacon pineapple pizza for $20 dollars, couldn't even pick it up, sloppy and had 4 strips of bacon on it. Ordered soup before and it was legit progresso canned soup for $5, their turkey is also gross. I understand inflation but, their food is not up to par. read more

We ordered a large bbq chicken pizza and a small cheese with a large mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating... and answered lots of questions about the menu. The food was ready super fast and it was super hot and fresh!! The crust was light, crispy, fluffy and effervescent! It was a delight the bbq sauce was a perfect flavor combination and the cheese was the just the right amount and the grilled chicken chunks were juicy and not dried out. The small cheese pizza was wonderful and the mozzarella sticks were perfectly balanced and seasoned. I loved this place until they told me not to come back! In two years and multiple orders I (politely) complained twice about an undercooked pizza. The pizza was soggy and falling apart and I just wanted a more cooked pizza. I called and was not rude about it but the owner (I'm assuming) got on the phone and told me not to order from them again. My family has gone to Crossroads frequently as my kids have gone to the dojo in the same plaza for the last 8 years. We had become somewhat friendly with the staff. My oldest is 12 and just earning some freedom and tonight due to a scheduling conflict I needed to drop my at karate a bit before his class and he was hungry. We went to Crossroads and as we were chit chatting about how the family was doing I mentioned my son would be dining alone before karate. The owner came out of the kitchen to "make sure we were on the same page" that my son would eat then walk down the plaza to karate and told my son to check in with them before leaving. As I was picking up my daughter I got a call from Crossroads that my son was on his way to karate. They really went above and beyond in the customer service area tonight and I truly appreciate it. read more

This WAS my favorite place to buy chicken broccoli Alfredo. I ordered it at least once a week. Until today I opened my Alfredo and smelt a spoiled milk smell. Took a bite and immediately spit it out....yup, tasted like spoiled/expired milk. Really disappointed. Won't order here again. read more

This is your standard town pizza joint. Having never been here before I knew the safest thing to order was a fresh pizza or calzone. I got a roni calzone and ya know... besides burning my mouth because I was so hungry it wasn't half bad. Solid 3 stars.. Would certainly come back for another tasty calzone. read more

Stopped in for, what used to be, a great Chicken Caesar salad. Placed order & then told that will be $12.99 - I was surprised, usually about $8.00.. I-asked did the price go up? The pizza has a great tasting crust and a nice amount of cheese. The Greek salad with steak tips was also very good. Crossroads interior is spacious updated and very clean. Takeout was easy and our order was ready on time. The parking in front is plentiful. All in all a great experience and highly recommend this hidden gem tucked into the shopping center with UHaul. read more

We've ordered pizza from here several times. Food is always solid. Tonight we took a chance and ordered wraps, a sub, and a salad. My husband made a mistake when ordering but didn't realize it until the delivery came. The kid said it wasn't a problem and would come back with the salad we wanted on his next trip. We called back to explain and see if there was a difference in price so we could pay it and the manager told us we'd have to pay for another salad in addition to the one that was sent back that we didn't even touch or keep. I get that it was our mistake when we ordered (and called back to confess to) but a little courtesy and understanding with your customer service goes a really long way to keep customers happy and coming back when we have countless options for takeout food. read more

I will start off by saying, I don't know what their food tastes like. I went in and purchased a small chicken kabob sub and a Dr. Pepper. While waiting I went to their restroom to wash my hands. It's a long hallway when you factor in the horrible mouse/rodent smell. It made me sick to my stomach. When you have a bad rodent smell in your restaurant, literally my gut feeling is to get out. I didn't ask for an explanation or my money back, nor did I offer them an excuse as to why I walked out, but I grabbed my bottled Dr. Pepper and walked out. I'm not judging their food. Pretty average all around. Pizza is ok, nothing special. Sides are also pretty average. The winner in this place is their salads, they do have some of the better salads in the area. Staff are very friendly, but it seems like everytime I go there the place looks a little dirty. Its not a comfortable place to eat either. Its always way too hot in the summer, way too cold in the winter, take out is the way to go here. read more

Cant get enough of the Grilled Chicken Caesar salad. Pizza is also delicious. They do delicious steak tip salads too. Comes with pita bread I make a sandwich out of it :-) generous portions. Fantastic! Besides being one of the only locations that delivers after 8pm their pizza was quite a pleasant surprise of quality. We ordered their White Shrimp Pizza and their Spinach Ricotta pizza. We just wanted something that we could drink with white wine but were very happy. Delivery time was 40 minutes and the price was reasonable but the size did leave something to be desired. I would give this location five stars but I didn't appreciate the way the delivery boy was ogling the wife and that he said "sup buddy", I'm not your buddy guy. This place is great!! We've gotten take out from them multiple times over the course of the pandemic. They've done a pretty good job adjusting to the circumstances. The food is amazing, large variety. And the service is wonderful. The staff are so kind and friendly. Definitely go here if you want decent takeout. read more

Very underwhelming Caesar salad... small portion. No parmesan cheese. Dressing wasn't good ceasar it was basically just an Italian.

I live in Amesbury and I order from Cross roads At least every other week. SHERI H.OMG the review below or above me who ever she is her review sounds about as fake as they come. When you are nasty like this in your reviews ( I being a owner of 4 companies my self) no one takes you serous. I order from and or have ordered from every take out place in amesbury and do so regularly as I said before I own and operate 4 of my own businesses and that's not all I do. Cross Roads is a good business. They have there own stile of making everything like any other place does. Some may like one thing from them and others may hate it So on and so forth. I am not a fan of their Pizza I have had better but have also had worse ( Amesbury house is worst in town then Busybee would be 2nd worst lol) But I personally like Merrimac house as the best Pizza ever. As for Cross roads they have good food on the Menu that I like and this is as follows ( Ya I have had almost everything from them) 1. One of the best chicken finger subs in a 50 mile Area 2. Steak tip dinner, salad, sub, or wrap . They have good tips here. 3. Ham and cheese or steak bomb calzone ( I tried a chicken Alfredo calzone was not for me) 4. My wife gets broc, Ziti Alfrado from them with garlic bread and a salad. Grl bread Bites and this dish is great but once in a wile it comes out not the best. 5. Side dishes are all ok non of them bad non of them fantastic ether except the Jalapeno poppers are really good just remind them to make um hot. 6. My kids eat the Pizza with no complaints half regular half bacon. That is my review of the place. I wouldn't waste your time or money. The food is horrible and they don't get it right. If you were to complain they will argue that they're right not the customer. I work in a restaurant and have for years so even tho the saying is customers always right I know that isn't the case but however when a customer complains about their food that they paid more money than it's worth for they should be more than willing to remake it. Not argue the customers wrong. Not only is the counter help incredibly rude one of the owners isn't any better. Not offering to fix the food but also arguing they were right. I guess they are well off and don't need the business because they'd rather loose a lot of business instead of making an order over. Not to mention the place is disgusting and not clean. Food is great but customer service is lacking big time. Long time repeat customer no more. My order was taken wrong and I ended up paying for something I didn't want. When I called after I picked up my food and made it home to let them know. The women told me no problem next time I order they will take "some off my order". Fast forward 5 days I call to place another order and reminded the women that they were to take some off my order that I paid an extra $7 for something I didn't want. I could hear the owner in the back arguing with her and after putting me on hold she said well take off $3. Long story short and an argument with he owner I told them to forget my order. Crossroads is right down the street from my work, and my company is constantly getting food from there. The portions are large, and the food is pretty good. My favorite thing to get there is the Chicken Kabob Wrap with fries (the fries are YUMMY). The staff there is very friendly. read more

Crossroad Pizza is great place. We were there only once, last year. When we came in this weekend, friendly owner recognized us. He remembered our short visit and short talk. May 30 - Very rude customer service. Called and began placing an order when I was put on hold to take another phone call. After being on hold for 3 minutes, I called back, where I was told 'we are busy' and got hung up on. I then called back one more time, where I'm a loyal, frequent customer and stated 'I began placing an order..' and before I could finish, I was interrupted by being told 'why are you calling, your order is all set' and again HUNG up on. I then drove to speak to a manager, where again, I order from here regularly for my daughter, and wasn't approached with reason, and was told 'there is no manager in until Monday (June 3rd)'. The TWO front counter staff continues to yell 'I want to see you do my job!' 'We are busy' ... not one phone rang.. with two sets of indoor guests only. A guy then came from kitchen area stating he is 'The Owner' and that we needed to leave. Where I work at a pizzeria in Haverhill, Ma.. My family and I have ordered from Crossroads for years and we love it! We all love their pizza and their chicken fingers!

Staff is fun and polite, and the food is consistently good. Also, they recently did me a favor and got me out of a jam. I sent my kid to school on a half day with no lunch packed. She went to her after school program and had nothing to eat. I work quite a long way away, so I called Crossroads. They delivered a small cheese pizza to her school and charged my cc over the phone so that my kid would have a lunch that day. They saved the day! read more
