For the past decades I've lived in the Valley we've always used Two Men and A Truck when we move…read moreand they do a perfectly fine job. This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

The biggest thing was communication, Bobby was always available in case we had questions or needed details as this was our first time hiring movers. We treated our selves with a moving company so expected to pay a pretty penny but the price ended up being VERY reasonable for everything they offered. 10/10 would recommend!

Just to see, I spent a day calling around for quotes. Some places wanted nearly $300/hr plus a long laundry list of hidden fees, and I thought there was no way it was worth it. But the last company I called was Sterling Interstate, and wow--what a breath of fresh air. We had already dealt with a lot of stress while closing on our first home, and we just needed a reliable team to cross the finish line. The moving industry doesn't always have the best reputation, so I was praying they'd be good--and they turned out to be the absolute best. Not only is their hourly rate very fair for the quality of work, but they also don't hit you with random fees. My husband and I had our home 95% packed and stacked, leaving them to navigate moving everything down a flight of stairs and prepping/packing the larger furniture. Since this was our first time hiring movers, we were blown away: they wrapped and packed everything like it was going cross-country! Even knowing it was only a 15-minute drive, they took zero chances with damage, and everything arrived completely untouched. I am terrible with names, so I've already forgotten the exact crew who came out, but they were AMAZING. On a brutally hot and humid July day in Arizona, they hustled nonstop for 6.5 hours. They took necessary breaks, but they worked so hard, all while cracking jokes with us and keeping the mood light. By the time they left, it felt like saying goodbye to old friends. Pro tip: If you hire movers in the AZ summer, please be kind--offer them cold water, sports drinks, and maybe some Rice Krispies Treats to keep them going! They saved us so much time and left us with the energy to unpack and settle in half the time it would have taken on our own. We are so thankful we went with Sterling Interstate. I don't even want to think about moving again, but it's a relief knowing exactly who we'll call when the time comes. 10/10 recommend!

I requested a quote to relocate our office and was initially sent an estimate based on two hours of moving time with one truck. When I submitted everything for payment and was ready to sign the contract, the price suddenly increased to nearly THREE TIMES the original estimate. On top of that, I scheduled an appointment and they were a no-show. I spent the entire week going back and forth through email trying to get clear answers, only to be left without a mover and now behind schedule relocating our office. This was a business move with deadlines, and I relied on the information and scheduling they provided. The lack of communication, changing estimate, and missed appointment created an unnecessary mess for our office. They then said that even if it was approved, I "wouldn't be reimbursed much, only like $60 dollars, based on the $/lb rate." Thanks, I already knew the reimbursement rates were pathetic, that's not the point. Your company value of "customer-focused solutions" is literally worth less than $60. Your movers broke our stuff, hid all the evidence, and did not inform us of any damage. The claims department then strings us along for months saying they "will make it right", and, "someone will be in contact to fix this", only to play hard to catch, deny it and say it will stay denied, and then tell me it's not a big deal. My fault for believing the verbiage on your website. I thought the "professional movers" would at least be honest enough to speak up when they broke something and I didn't need to babysit or record them every step of the way. Also my fault for not making them unload furniture from the fully loaded truck when they finished; so I could climb in and inspect underneath every protective cover for evidence of damage intentionally hidden by the movers. Completely my fault. Thank you for your understanding of my situation. Good job on pretending to be helpful while saving your company $60 and costing me an extra $600.

I spoke with the owner via Yelp messenger, and he was very responsive to everything that I asked! I got a call and an email a couple days before my scheduled move for confirmation, and everything went so smooth. I can't say enough praises about my entire experience!! Renée and her other two guys showed up right up about 720, when they gave me a window between 7 and 730 which was perfect. I had two stops before my final destination, and they did everything like real pros! They were so gentle with my things, and once we got to my new home, they went out of their way to assemble furniture for me. They even took all the trash before they left. All three of them were so friendly and personable, I loved getting to spend time with them while we were moving all of my belongings. Don't hesitate!
