This is a pretty good Chinese buffet with sushi, American food, and Mongolian grill. But there was bit too much breading on the deep fried food in my opinion. Just saying.

I've struggled with doing this review for a few weeks now and I came to conclusion that it has to be said. I'm not a huge fan of buffets however since the birthday girl chose this place I went along with it. Upon arriving we were greeted and told to pick a seat. The place is rather outdated nothing at all to brag about. Being greeted by the man at the entrance was the absolute best part of the service from here on out. We placed our drink orders which were way overpriced but anywho we then proceeded to see what was available on the buffet. I was shocked by the fact there was no orange chicken, or sesame or garlic chicken because this is a Chinese buffet correct? I settled for egg drop soup, crab Rangoons, fried rice and sweet sour chicken. The rice, rangoons and soup were the best things that were offered on the buffet. The chicken was dry and tough and honestly nothing on the buffet seemed fresh. My grandson got pizza, smoked sausage and lomein off the buffet and the only edible thing on his plate was the lomein. The available items on the buffet were not what I would have imagined and everything looked leftover and poorly prepared. Still celebrating we then thought Oh let's try fruit and dessert which was no better. Unripened grapes with seeds, oranges hard and not sweet, jello tough and hard no jiggle at all (in my grandsons voice) and the banana pudding was more like slop and cookies. Overall this was a complete waste of $86 and the birthday girl who turned 73 by the way was so disappointed that she chose this place when there were so many other options. We had enough so we asked for our check. We received it placed the money on the clip she brought the change back and proceeded to stand there. We're allowing the birthday girl to open her cards and gift. The woman then asks "no tip?" Mind you no matter how bad the food is we always leave a tip and we had intended to leave a minimal tip considering we served ourselves and the only thing this woman had done was brought out 5 drinks which she didn't even have to refill and it's rude to ask for a tip while people are still talking or drinking etc. I asked for a to go cup and the woman pouted, walked off and never came back. Hopefully she was gathering cleaning supplies to clean up the women's bathroom as it was a disgusting mess. Needless to say I made the executive decision to remove the tip as there was absolutely nothing tip worthy about the food or service.

A lady snapping the fresh green beans. Very nice.

Flaming buffet is a great value for the price. They have your trash frozen chicken nuggets and wontons like every place, but they also have plenty of vegetables and other options. During my last visit I saw a lady snapping the fresh green beans. There is even a bar where you can make a stir fry bowl and a guy will sear it up for you. My only two complaints are the weird programming they have on tv and the overall cleanliness and experience. They chose tv channels like CNN and charity infomercials that seems to be a subliminal signal to leave. Also the place could be just more clean, buckets of food less sloppy, better forks, better quality vegetables, etc.

Im surprised at how low rating this location has but im happy we secided to try it out . As soon as you walk inn the place was super packed and we had to wait, to my surprise it wasnt long at all . They had alot of different variety of food and it all was delicious. The server was very attentive and kept our drinks refilled best fried shrimp ive had full of flavor the ambiance was nice but it was full so a bit loud ,something i dont mind at all will be going again

The decadent side of me really digs this place! This place has a great selection of food items to choose from and honestly is sure to please almost any palate. I like to start at their Mongolian grill station and choose my items that will be going into my stir fry. While it is cooking I usually go make myself a plate of chilled shrimp & cocktail sauce, a few crab Rangoon, and an egg roll. Then I go back to the grill station and pick up my creation. That is round 1. Round 2 typically is more shrimp, some sweet and sour chicken, and a gyoza or two. Then comes round 3, yes, the decadence continues... Round 3 is typically a fruit and or dessert round. I love their almond cookies, and add to that a selection of pineapple and watermelon and I am pretty much ready to mail it in.

See that mold? Do you wanna bite into that like I did for only 10% ($3) back and a stomach ache?
    Mina O.

First time eating at flaming buffet and it was the first time I bit into molded dessert as well. Everything was yummy until I tasted the sour, bitter, disgusting mold on the top of my palette. I can't even tell you that the oysters and other foods were alright because the aftereffects of eating the mold. We paid 11.99/ person for all that, molded dessert and a stomach ache. Eat at your own risk.

    Meh.

Mediocre but with a large variety of food. The service was good but the food is low quality. Standard run of the mill Chinese buffet.

Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly and gave us some great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We tried the following dishes: Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), Gong Bao Pork, and Stir-Fried La Mian with Vegetables. My favorite dishes were the beef dish and the soup dumplings. I would definitely order those again. It was also really nice to see the chef hand-pull the noodles right behind our table, which added to the whole experience. This visit, we hosted family from East Texas who'd been here once before. Starting with delicious Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and Bucks Spare Ribs, we moved on to Ants Climbing Trees (Ma Yi Shang Shu), a classic Sichuan dish of vermicelli cooked with minced pork, in fermented chili sauce, with garlic and green onions, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, crispy bite-size shrimp tossed with green onion, basil, garlic, and jalapeño, and Sichuan Green Beans, stir-fried with garlic, mushrooms, and minced pork. We opted for one order of white rice and one of fried rice with our entrées. The restaurant is almost always packed if you don't have a reservation, but the vibe is relaxed and casual without being loud. In fact, it's so popular, you may have to wait a bit even with a reservation, since they want you to enjoy your meal vs rushing you out to "turn the table."

I would have let this slide if it happened once. I ordered through Uber Eats, and this is now the second time the fried rice I clearly paid for with both entrees was missing from my order. After the first time, I called to let them know, and the response was dismissive. When it happened again, I called again and got the same lack of concern. At that point, it's not a mistake, it's a pattern. At these prices, basic order accuracy and customer service should be a given. As for the food, it's average at best. It doesn't even reach Panda Express level in terms of consistency or flavor, which makes the pricing even harder to justify. I don't see the value here, and based on repeated issues and the lack of accountability, I wouldn't recommend.
