Anyway, he gave me 20% off, which is about the same. He is just an employee, so I don't fault him, but the manager should know to honor it. I am an avid Flame Broiler eater, so I know my order and rarely deviate. It was prepped perfectly, and tasted great. My daughter worked through her ordering herself, and got exactly what she wanted. The cashier was patient, and handed her a menu so she could see what all her choices were. I appreciated that. She loved what she got. This is my favorite location. I live down in Anaheim and I drive all the way down here. I dislike the flame broiler by my house down in Anaheim. The setting is so dirty and workers are so rude. While in the other hand workers here are very friendly and smiley. Setting is very clean. If I can give more than 5 stars I totally will ! Worth your visit read more

I have not been to flame broiler for at least a year. I forgot how good it is. I loved the charred taste of the meat. Everything was hot and fresh. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate my request for no cabbage. Everything was clean. They were quite busy when I went at lunch time--they must be doing something right! read more

This place had been putting the new triple hot sauce on my orders when I get multiple bowls. It's very frustrating and at this point I think the staff is doing it as a joke. This has not happened once but now 4 times over the past few weeks. I have tried making sure to clarify, but always one bowl is triple hot sauce. I have caught it twice while in the store and the staff smiles and gladly exchanges the bowls, but it does come off like they are doing it as prank. I love Flame Broiler! I usually go to the one on Chapman, but I decided to give this place a try. First of all, great service. The guy who helped me was very friendly and professional. I got the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice and got my fiancé the chicken and beef plate. I have to admit my chicken was a bit tough and crispy-probably because it was a tad overcooked. Besides that, the portions were plenty and everything tasted like it should. Hopefully, they can get the temperature on the grilling right! read more

It's Flame Broiler. That means a limited menu of decent, quick, filling food. I went in and ordered the Works Bowl with brown rice. The meat and veggies were cooked fine. The place is clean and very fast. In fact, by the time I got my drink and sauces my food was ready to go. The prices are also reasonable. When I got home after a meeting I saw that the wife got herself Flame Broiler for dinner. She told me she got a chicken and veggie bowl with no rice because she is dieting. I think next time I go I will get the bowl with no rice because the meat and veggies alone have a really good taste. Previously, this space was a Charo Chicken. I like Charo Chicken but this particular store was not good. I hope Flame Broiler does well here because it is convenient to work and home. I will be back. read more

Terrible service. Went in on Sunday at 4. Place was dead. Radio was set to a Christian rock station (personal preference, but I'd go to church to hear that). Stood at the counter with no line and watched a girl in the back look at her phone for 2 minutes while the cook worked and I stood there. I had to whistle to get her attention. She was short and lacking any interest in her job. I paid and she walked right back to her phone. If I could give more stars I absolutely would. I'm not sure what his name was but the chef with the plug earrings was so unbelievably nice and helpful. I showed up right at closing on accident because I thought they closed later. The lights turned off as I approached and so I turned around. He came outside and told me that it was ok to come inside. I went in here about a week ago, with my friend, Samantha. Not my choice, but not a bad choice at all. We were served by a very, very courteous and professional 'tariyaki-ista,' who answered each and every query we gave him. And we gave him plenty, being that my friend, Samantha, is one of those that wants bang for her buck--and I see that she gets it, considering she usually pays.
