The second flame broiler I have been to. The food is simple and decently healthy. Just meat, rice, and veggies. The flavor is good and does not leave you feeling bloated. The staff are very friendly but the food comes out slowly. Seems like they are not sustainable, only 2 people working and not that busy. The interior is large and clean.

Meal with very little protein. Ridiculous

Disappointing experience. The food tasted fine, but the portion size was way too small for the price. I left still hungry, which shouldn't happen after a full meal. Definitely not worth it unless they improve the portions.

    Barely any chicken

This place always short out on the meat. So I go the one on Milton pkwy. That owner have always been very nice and gave good portion but unfortunately they closed. Not I'm back to this location to try again. They still short out on the portion. The meat not even touching the lid. The lady never have a smile on her coughing everywhere. Won't come to this one ever again

    Food

Food was really good but most importantly the costumer service was the best. Got my food in 2 mins after I ordered. Highly recommend this spot. I've been here almost everyday on my lunch since I work at Big O Tires nearby. The worker Sid that's been taking care of me since I started going here is the very professional and will take care of you. He's one of the main reason I got here.

A big ball of rice stuck together

I've been to a lot of flame broilers and this is probably the worst that I've been to. The cashier is always super unfriendly. No "hi how are you" or "thank you enjoy your meal". Just zero dialogue, which unfortunately I've also noticed at other fast restaurants in Irvine. I've encountered two different cashiers and they have both been like this. The interior of the establishment is also fairly uninviting. Although I suppose I'm not there to hang out. There were a few fruit flies at the sauce area and hovering around the sauce nozzles. Last, the food isn't very hot and always feels like it's been sitting there for a while. Also, my rice was completely stuck together in a large ball. That's pretty off putting.

The food is amazing coustomer service is on point i love caming back to this restaurant staff is amazing experience the lady at the front always respectfull and nice

For the record, I give this place a solid 2.5 stars. I normally don't give 2.5 stars even for fast food establishments but this really did not meet my expectations. I went in expecting a nice hefty bowl of rice and chicken but came out with a portion size I was not satisfied with. For 10 dollars, I would expect a lot more. Also, the chicken here was relatively dry and didn't have much fatty parts (could be a good thing and bad thing, depends how you look at it). Also wish there were more vegetables. A 1:1 ratio of rice to vegetables with the chicken they provide would honestly keep me satisfied and happy. Overall, I think if you wanted to eat healthy, I would rather go to Chipotle where you can get quality chicken with lots of vegetables.

The flame broiler's advertising makes it seem like it's all about healthy food that tastes good, but I'm not convinced. The portion of chicken was pretty small. I do normally have a pretty big appetite, but I'd still definitely consider this portion small. The chicken was dry, but there wasn't any fatty meat or skin. So I guess not super great tasting meat but healthier than most other fast food places. The teriyaki sauce was good, but it was a bit overdone and got a lot of the rice underneath soaked in sauce. I'm not sure how healthy it is to be drenching rice in teriyaki sauce. There were no vegetables included in the bowl even though there are veggies in the picture provided for online ordering. Not a super balanced meal, just chicken and rice. Pretty mediocre in my opinion, and not really worth $8.

    This guy so nice.

This location is awesome! Friendly hard working staff. They always get my order right. The location is also always clean, during the work week it does get popular during the lunch rush. No complaints here.

I'm from Sacramento so the Irvine spectrum center is comparable to the fountains at Roseville or the Palladio in Folsom in the sac area. We ordered popcorn chicken, french fries and drinks (mainly for the kids) and to get a snack since we were hungry. Inside has a few tables, which there were one or two other customers inside dining. Inside the space was pretty messy. It looks like the workers did not have time to clean since there were crumbs and bits of trash. I'm glad we didn't dine in. For the food, since it's made to order, we waited just over 15 minutes for the fried foods. It came out piping hot, which we didn't really get to enjoy since by then, our table at din Tai Fung was ready. So we brought it with us. The chicken was really good. It was seasoned well and they even gave us a seasoning packet to add more flavor to the popcorn chicken. I'll go back if I'm in this area and want boba and popcorn chicken.

We got the BOGO fish cakes, the popcorn chicken and a box of regular chicken. I wasn't a fan of any of it. The coating was too sweet for my taste. Chicken was nothing great and the sauces we got tasted like something from a fast food place. The portion was pretty good though, esp for the free box of fish cakes and the popcorn chicken. My guy really enjoyed it though so giving 4 stars due to his happiness with it!

I ordered a 3-Item Plate, and it honestly looked smaller than what a 1-Item Plate used to be. The portion sizes across the board were extremely disappointing. The Orange Chicken was mushy and soft instead of crispy and fresh. The Beef & Broccoli contained only three small pieces of beef with mostly broccoli. I also paid the additional $1.95 upgrade for the Cantonese BBQ Brisket, and the portion was so small it was hard to believe. To make matters worse, the brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Even the rice portion was noticeably smaller than what Panda Express used to serve. I understand that food costs have increased and prices have gone up, but charging more while serving a fraction of the food customers used to receive is not acceptable. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling ripped off. There are plenty of restaurants offering better quality food, larger portions, and enough leftovers for a second meal. If Panda Express continues reducing portions while raising prices, they're going to lose loyal customers like me. Very disappointing experience.

When I finally got my food, both the teriyaki chicken and orange chicken were very chewy, and the portion size was just average. But the biggest issue was a serious one: after just two bites, I found several peanuts at the bottom of my container. I have a peanut allergy and had to stop eating immediately (thankfully I didn't have a reaction!). I specifically order the teriyaki chicken because it typically doesn't have sauce and is less likely to be cross-contaminated, so this was especially concerning. Cross-contamination like this is not a small mistake, it's a safety issue. Overall, I would not trust this location again.
